I love love love going to Pete's Tuesday thru Thursday because they have karaoke! The system is awesome, with 2 screens. They also just put in a pizza place... which allows you to order pizza til 2am.
There's nothing better than having a few drinks, singing a few songs & eating a few slices of pizza with close friends.
Hilights of their staff are Joyce (Bartender) & Rick (Karaoke jockey). Both are super nice, and sometimes you catch a glimpse of Pete walking thru with a huge smile.
I was in town for a wedding and was told to stop by with the wedding party. We had a good time. They have plenty of pool tables and the place has alot of room so you don't feel like you are up on someone the whole time. The booze prices were reasonable. They charged a cover but there was a band playing so it was reasonable. Good place to get a beer in auburn.
Pistol Pete's is a decent option for night-time fun. I was in this weekend and it wasn't stupid-crowded. The drink specials were good (and by all reports, frequent) and the visiting band was actually highly entertaining.
the pool tables were all Bogart-ed by sharks, but the darts seemed to have some good openings for epic one-on-one action.
now i said that it wasn't all that crowded, but this place could really stand to be more heavily frequented. I think i would come here more often if i found myself in the area.
not a good place to man-hunt.
This is what all bars and humans would be like, if the nazis won the war (paraphrase of what Hunter Thompson said about Circus Circus & I would also apply to this place).
In all honesty, this would be a great place to go in almost any other town. However, Auburnites aren't the most exciting people to be around and most have a hard time holding their alcohol without reverting back to teenage drinking behavior.
Local law enforcement here is pretty aggressive - but if you are a rich white person in a nice vehicle, you probably won't be pulled over, unless you're blatant.
The problem is that most residents in the greater Auburn area aren't within walking distance of here and taxi service isn't usually out waiting ever.
Favorite bar in town. Lots of beers on tap and top shelf liquors. They added on a fenced in section out front so now you can take your beer and smoke. Pete has a good number of pool tables and a pretty cool boxing game so instead hitting somebody for all those guys who think they're tough, they can beat it out on the boxing game. Pete is really cool and he doesn't take shit from anybody.
Great local watering hole to take any visitors from out of town. Want to have an early evening business meeting? This is your place. Watch out, though, as the vampires come out at night and your silence will be broken. The L-shaped bar is ample in size, usually with more than one 'tender. Plenty of smaller tables are on the floor. Numerous pool tables and other games are around, also. A smoking area outside (complete with a fence) let's you come and go easily. If you're hungry, there's a mexican restaurant a few doors down.
