It was fine!
Expect the funkiness of the coast. And big people, big food!
Our very sweet and longterm waitress was also our cocktail waitress. She was a huge fan of the food, so that made it fun.
What I didn't like was the boring white bread. It wouldn't have been hard to have Bayside Bakery or a more local bakery bake their bread.
I was anxiously expecting a crispy old fashioned iceberg salad, but it was (albeit lovely) boring gourmet greens. They make all the dressings, which was nice. The salad and bread are included with the entrees.
And that is a good thing, since it's very expensive.
My sautéed crab legs in garlic butter were fabulous (out of a can, no less). I was pleasantly surprised at their texture and sweetness.
My husband's steak was a steak. Undercooked, but he ate half of it and took the other half home. It was quite large.
The cheesy garlic mashed potatoes were heavenly. Very smooth, which is not usually my favorite, but really really good!
The crab dish was $33. Yes, $33 for dinner at the beach.
A New Year's Eve celebration! -

Great place to people watch! But with so many great strip clubs in PDX, I can't see myself coming back here.

A stripper bar in a weird, round building. Some of the performers have excellent, realistic bodies- all soft and roundy instead of stick-shaped like a hungry boy.
They play some good music, too, for the deep soulled amongst us.
The video poker machines are in a little walled off area so you can hide. -

This place is one of Portland's best kept secrets. Yes, sometimes it can be hit n' miss - but when its good, its awesome. Definitely a neighborhood bar, the DJs will play anything and the dancers are a blast to watch and talk to!

You almost hate to give a so-so review of this local dive strip club. Maybe it was an off night. Even my P-town host was slightly apologetic.
We sauntered up to the rack and laid out our $1 bills and the dancer proceeded to ignore us. It's not like it was crowded. There were 3 other guys sitting at the single stage in addition to the 3 of us. We caught the last song of her set and she whined to us that you know you have to pay a dollar to sit at the rack. Say what? She didn't even face us until her little speech. She did collect the bills and went offstage.
Sorry, we stayed through the next dancer and left. The bartenders were cool enough, but can't echo the same for the dancers. -
