First of all, don't expect a lodge. No lodge, just an aging motel with very tight parking. Pictures make you think it's a large room but, it's a regular size motel room with remodeled log cabin furniture. They do have a small fridge and microwave, nice touch because if you eat any meals at their restaurant be prepared to wait for cold food. Two breakfasts and a dinner, only one breakfast was hot. Staff if very friendly and nice but totally understaffed. For the price of the food and lodging, I'll look elsewhere.

This is an average place to stay for a good price.  It's in a good area, the rooms are clean and you will feel safe enough.  We stayed with kids and there is a nice petting zoo next door which actually turned out to be a highlight for the trip (for the kids, at least).  You will also get 10% off at the Pioneer Restaurant which is again - average - or maybe better than average if you stick with hamburgers and fries.  The pool was nice and not crowded and the morning coffee on-site (at a cost) was good enough too.

Recently renovated and it shows. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our room had a decent size fridge and microwave which is very convenient if you are looking to save some $$$ on dining. The only thing preventing me from giving four stars is the fact that the rooms don't have coffee makers, so I have had to shell out about $5 a day for a coffee and a refill. One perk you might not find elsewhere, is that you can use their WiFi in your hotel room; even though it isn't advertised. (That is where I am Yelp'ing from now)
