1 review for Pioneer Golf Center
I was a total jock in college.
And by that I mean I was suffering senioritis so I took a semester of golf.
The center has a driving range, 9 hole golf course, 18 hole mini golf ("put-put" in these parts), and a practice green.
It's nothing glamorous, but so is life in Appalachia. There's a friendly staff at the pro-shop and the strangers on the course have little to no attitude. There's nothing like driving a golf cart around on a hot spring day with a 12 pack of Bud Light and a bunch of your fraternity brothers...errr...I mean classmates. Yah.
This place is fun for people of all ages and I'd definitely recommend that the college students take up the golf class their senior year - it's a great way to cool off some of the stress of your approaching graduation as well as earn credit.
I ended up getting an 'A' in the course because I'm awesome and improved greatly. Either that or because my teacher ran over a student, got fired, and they kinda gave us all 'A's for the semester. ;-(
