I've hosted two school-related events at PiNZ and received great service both times. The billing & lane-booking process was smooth.  Renting shoes was quick and easy for our group of 15+.  Any errors with the score screen was fixed within a minute (-.5 star for the need to walk to front desk if you have to add/subtract players). The catered food was delicious and ready well in advance for us.  Btw, they probably have the best, if not second best, salsa I've EVER tasted!

Not just the service is great, but the venue itself is amazing!  Graphics/animation of the scoreboard are appealing.  There's a variety of ball weights & colors.  Very spacial seating area.  The lanes are well-buffed.  Is it me, or do the lanes seem really long?

I've also sat at the bar once, which is pretty chill to sit, drink, and talk amongst friends.  I, too, noticed that the bald bartender wasn't exactly the friendliest guy, but oh well.  Laser tag was fun while it lasted.

I appreciate all the PiNZ e-mail offers and deals, but it is too far from where I live now.  Since I'm no longer in school/coordinator, I'll definitely recommend them to host their annual bowling event at PiNZ.

Ever since "Good Times" from Somerville closed down, I've been bummed about not having my "sleezy yet fun" place to hang out.  There is some special charm about a place that makes you feel like you should check where your wallet is every 5 minutes.

Pinz is such a place.  Skeevy, a little unkempt, but full of love and crappy beer.

It helps that I like places that cater to both kids and grownups interests.  Pinz has an arcade that gives out it's own cards (like at Dave and Buster's) and a bar that can make lots of girly alcoholic drinks.  Honestly the restaurant there isn't half bad, they actually have really good burgers.  They also obviously, have bowling, and it's much like any other modern/retro current bowling place, only it's a bit cheaper since you pay by the hour and I can't really take more than an hour of bowling.

All in all it's an okay place.  They serve you drinks even when you  are bowling and there are always lots of kids around so I guess if you don't like children stay away.  Otherwise, come in and have a blast!

The best part about Pinz.. drink booze and play video/arcade games at the same time. They also have plenty of seating, great bowling lanes, decent food, and live music.

The only reason why I didn't give Pinz 5 stars is because of one bartender that works there. He looks to be in his late 30's early 40's.. short, bald.. and the biggest A-hole bartender I have ever come in contact with. The staff at Pinz are all great, besides this jerk. He acts like it's the end of the world if you order a drink from him. He doesn't ask what you want, but stares at you until you feel too uncomfortable to order anything.... and if you do order something, don't even think about getting more then one drink. He makes crappy drinks, and basically throws them at you. Every person I have known that goes to Pinz says the same thing about this guy.

Pinz:  The Next Generation of Bowling Experience

Here's what you need to know first:

Pay by the hour, not by the game... it's something like $22 for one hour versus $40-something for two games.  Two games takes right around an hour...  obviously a much better deal.

Also, you can't have pitchers at the lanes.  Inconvenient, yes, and good to know from the start.

The waitresses wear tight referee shirts.  And they really could show some cleave... i'm gay... but i'd still hope they'd work it a little more.

Pinz is an entertainment complex... bowling, bar, restaurant, arcade, VIP rooms... hookers (yes, I'm pretty sure I actually saw hookers in the parking lot... welcome to Milford.)

A great time... VERY clean and appears to be brand new.  Definately something fun to do in the middle of nowhere.

This place is pretty much "meh"... I can't comment on the bowling as we were there to watch a band and have a few drinks... It really took forever to get drinks, so we all ordered 3-4 at a time... Love me a lukewarm Bud Light... yummy...

Another very strange tidbit of info... PiNZ does not have a full liquor license. Just beer, wine and cordials?!?!?!? I paid for this BIG time on Sunday with the worst hangover/possible alcohol poisoning of my LIFE. I did quite a few Washington Apple and Kamikaze shots... but I wonder what the hell was in them if they don't serve liquor? I should have known better when 2 shots and a New Castle draft was $7.00.

Weird. I recommend you stick to beer. Otherwise you will pay dearly the next day!

And BTW... I miss the old Skate Palace terribly. PiNZ pretty much looks the same inside, the lanes are located where the rink was, and there is an arcade where you used to pick up your skates. Ahhh... the memories...

Fun a place to go with friends at night, especially during winter when it's freezing cold out.  There are bowling and arcade in one place.
If you are hungry and want a drink or two, there is a sport bar and grille right there too.  That's convenient!

Went there for the first time on a weekday afternoon for a quick snack.  Both the food & service were good & the price reasonable.  What a spread, not what I was expecting from the looks of the exterior.  Seems like a great place to bring young folks to run around.
