We pick up food here at least once every 2 weeks if not more. We normally get the pizza which is yummy. We also get the beet and pineapple salad, polenta with melted gorgonzola, and sometimes turkey sausage sandwich.
1 star food ready made/quick and easy
2 star for the PIZZA
3 Easy parking downstairs if none is available in front
4 FRIENDLY sevice (Always hook my daughter up with cookies)
5 Nearby and they now deliver!
If you do eat in their patio they have crayons and pictures for the kids.
FYI Blockbuster is next door

Last weekend I had Pinocchio cater a cocktail party for 75+ people. They did me right in every which way. Tons of appetizers beautifully presented at a reasonable price. Here was the menu:
Mini Pizzas -- pepperoni and plain...terrific flaky crust
Rustico -- baked puff pastry with spinach, mushrooms & mozzarella
Caprese Skewers
Chicken & Veg Croquettes
Grilled Polenta with Gorgonzola Sauce
Zucchini Rolls -- delicious
Stuffed Mushrooms -- bite sized...smaller than the ones in the case in the store
Prosciutto Rolls -- these were unbelievable.
I need to exercise amazing self control not to drop in here daily for take out.
UDATE:
I had a hankering and took a nice drive out on Sunset to find this place. Innocuous location in the back of a little mini-mall, but great selection of true italian-style pizzas and pastas and salads and side dishes. No indoor dining, but a few outside tables. This is definitely more a take-out kind of place. The proscioutto and arugula pizza was once again DELICIOUS and we also had a side salad that was good. Added bonuses: (1) they have an awesome selection of Haribo gummy candies - some stuff I hadn't even seen before! (2) Just around the corner is a great new gelato place. Sugar-free Hazelnut = heaven.

I've never eaten here, but tasted their pizzas, pastas and sandwiches at a house party (takeout). OMG, best pizza this side of Mozza! I could not stop eating the prosciutto+arugula pizza - I had dreams about it last night. Yum.
The pastas and paninis were very good too. I must go check this place out. Maybe I should move to the Palisades just to be nearby.
Any rich folks need a poolboy in the area??

I love Pinocchio.
It's such a treat to eat there. Everything is fresh and delicious.
The service is always friendly and accomodating, too.
The soups, sandwiches, salads and pizzas are a great choice for lunch.
They even have lunch specials, so you can have half a panini and a small salad and it's a great deal.
The prepared foods are gorgeous. Makes me feel like I am back in Brooklyn in my old neighborhood, which had the best Italian food on earth.
The only teeny drawback is that there is no inside seating. Given that we live in L.A. where the weather is mostly gorgeous, it's not much of a problem.

This little gem is located in the back of a small shopping center. The pizza is as good as I have had anywhere. Some are offered by the slice. The preprepared foods are beautifully displayed and varied. Everything looks very fresh. They make their own desserts which are also first rate. The chocolate tart is rich and the lemon tart is tartty. There are tables on the patio in front of the restaurant which are great for toddlers and small children since the place is located in the middle of a family neighborhood. You can eat while the kids wander around. It's strange that the Palisades has a real shortage of good restaurants. This is the only one I recommend.
