Pink Cadillac
2 reviews for Pink Cadillac
On my way back from Maine, I stopped here because it sounded cool when I was searching for food near my sister's house using my GPS. This place came across as a cute themed place to grab a sandwich or something.
Attached to a gas station and a convenience store was this little diner with a giant pink candillac protruding from the overhead awning. I was excited at that point and when I walked in I was totally impressed with the cute little decorations and knickknacks everywhere.
I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting much from the menu but to the contrary I was impressed with the selection for such a small place AND they served breakfast all day! I didn't want breakfast at 2 in the afternoon so I grabbed one of their specials (which I'm assuming because it had a nice star marking it), the pink cadillac burger. This was no lie, the BEST burger I've ever had. Everything about it was delicious and I really wish that this place was closer to home so I could be a regular customer.
Also, the service was AWESOME, which I find to be uncommon lately. I give this place two thumbs WAY up!
The first time we visited this little diner in mid-August we would have given it five stars for the excellent hot, fresh food and fast, friendly service. We would gladly have taken guests here.
Now, however, we're not sure. Our second visit was not so good. Suddenly the portions were skimpy and not cooked well and service was slow and not so friendly.
Don't know what happened to change things so dramatically, but we're willing to give Pink Cadillac one more try the next time we're in the area.
Low prices, breakfast all day, good coffee.
