Small business owners around the Indy area need to take note of the things Pillow Talk does right - they keep it classy, bring in gorgeous pieces, and have impeccable customer service. This fun and girly boutique is full of pretty camisoles, comfy panties, and girly sleepwear, but isn't overpacked with so many items that customers become overwhelmed.
The owner, Rachel, is incredible helpful and sweet - and she always remember who comes back to shop again.
Last time I visited, I needed a present for a friend's Bachelorette Party. Rachel had me describe my friend and her fashion style, and within a few moments, she had already pulled five lingerie sets that were almost all perfect for my friend. She helped me choose the prettiest one which was both in my budget, and available in my friend's size. Ladies, this doesn't happen at Vickie's Secret - I have never had service like this, nor have I met someone who was successfully able to pull lingerie styles based on a short description only.
My friend LOVED her gift and wants to visit Pillow Talk when she comes to town.
Some of the pieces (such as a line of silk pieces from Italy) are very pricy - over $100 a piece. Other lines, such as Betsey Johnson, are much more affordable and perfect for every day wear. Rachel carries pieces for every day comfort, and also for special occasions.
Pillow Talk also carries home fragrance items, personal fragrance items (like Ambre essential oils), and delicious candles.
Follow Pillow Talk on facebook - owner Rachel constantly posts Facebook only specials, promotions, and sample sales. Also, Pillow Talk occasionally offers Groupons - last time they had one, it was $20 for $40 of product! -

This "lingerie" shop was such a pleasant surprise for me today.
It's location in the Carmel "arts & design" district put visions of stuffy and over priced in my head. I am happy to say that not only did I leave with visions of sugar plums, but also with the softest cotton and lace chemise, an adorable "bohemian chic" boy short and cami set (they have them in hot pink prints and turquoises) as well as a gorgeous Sophie B. Chemise - which I will wear with a tank underneath for a stunning top this summer - with matching panties. All this for right at $100.00!
Victorias secret doesn't have half the selection or quality of this little shop. The girl working was friendly and helpful and the niece of the owner, Rachel. They have selections for college kids as well as great items for married women of most any age.
Can't wait to go back and to see my mans reactions as well! -

My girlfriends and i stopped in while we were walking around Carmel. Rachel greeted us warmly with a big smile and wanted to start a fitting room for us right away as we were browsing.
She sells the typical lingerie pieces along with some nice candles.
I am not big into lingerie either and so I rarely pay $50 for a bra or $20 for a pair of undies. She has Besty Johnson lingerie here and when I got home, I found the same bras for $26 and they were being sold for $48 here. Although I am big into supporting local businesses, I am also big into saving money. So you can decided what you're into.Listed in: Indy Love

If you want personal service and the prettiest girlie lingerie, stop by and see Rachel. She is by far the best friend a girl could have! The shop has beautiful things that you'll not find anywhere else.

Curiosities' and Artisan Masterpiece's loss was Pillow Talk's gain in the case of this reviewer!
Owner Rachel greeted us warmly and made us - even hubby - feel totally welcome and at ease in this classy little lingerie boutique. In the true European lingerie tradition, Rachel's "little nothings" are all exquisite. Brands here include Betsey Johnson, On Gossamer, Oscar de la Renta and Cosabella to name a few. This is not your granny's knickers, but neither is it Vickie's Secret. This is "art of lingerie" lingerie.
I love this shop and the service Rachel provides to all her customers...funny how she managed to handle us and at least three other shoppers by herself without making anybody feel bothered. I note that she even greeted one customer by her first name and told her she had just received something she knew she would love...THAT is customer service!
The skinny: I went in with no particular needs and left with a scrumptious turquoise blue Cosabella babydoll and lace boy short and the cutest little "finest of cottons" Eberjey cami and boyshort in a plum and dusty rose floral print called "Zen Garden"....wow, did that ever have my name on it!
I'm so glad to see this shop in Carmel...it is the epitome of a classy boutique that does one thing and does it well. Rachel, don't change a thing! -

I'm not big into lingerie, which was good in this case. There's nothing terribly overt at this reasonably priced lingerie store that features Betsy Johnson and other designer sleepwear and undergarments that are just girly enough. I especially appreciated the soft and feminine pants owner Rachel carried. There were even a pair of see-thru ones! Sales rack outside offered some real bargains.
The home-and-room scents she carries are quality, too. -

This is the small European boutique I've been looking for! The owner is incredibly nice and attentive, helping me choose pieces I absolutely love. I thought I would feel terribly awkward when I first walked in, but ended up feeling very at ease and pleased with what I found. The prices don't differ much from Victoria's Secret, and the quality is just as good if not better. Absolutely love this shop!

Just stumbled on this store - and it's fantastic. Super cute options from PJs to bras. Reasonably priced and super friendly owner. I'll def be making another trip back for my next bachelorette party and for myself!
