We happened by Pike Pub & Brewery while walking through the market and decided to stop for a beer. The hostess asked us where we wanted to sit and we opted for the bar area above the main area. She directed us to sit in the only area that was left open without a reserved sign, but halfway in enjoying our beverages we were prompted to move to another area that was marked reserved because they had a party coming in - a little frustrating.

Three of us ordered the sampler. After finishing the beer platter, hands down our favorite was the Pike Tandem and each of us have completely different beer preferences. I like the lighter lagers or brown ales while the others like stouts and beer you can chew.

I had really high hopes for the locally brewed beer since the Pacific Northwest is known for their microbrews, but I wasn't extremely impressed. We had originally planned to visit the Pyramid brewery and or Belgianfest, but didn't have enough time, so stopping into local pubs was our only option. Pike P&B was ok, but next time I'll try someplace else.

Service was LOUSY. Many of the tables around us had lousy service. you could see it on their faces... the food was mediocre, definitely have had better.

Do not get the cup of crab chowder!!! $7 for literally, a CUP of crab chowder. Not worth your money.

I had the Halibut & Chips, and the halibut was not good. It was a lot of fish but not enough battered goods to make it delicious.

The beer selection was good, but overall, the customer service is what brings people back, and this restaurant clearly lacked in that area. We will definitely not be going back.

My friends and I went here after walking around the city for a while. I've always seen this place, but never actually gone there.

Most of us ordered burgers, and one ordered nachos. My friend and I shared a pitcher of the pike pale amber.

The food nothing more than what you can expect of a regular American burger. And the prices seemed way to high, for the quality of food. (I mean really, the market is upstairs, so they should have killer quality food, but that is not the case.)

The beer, was fine. It tastes too much like Red Hook though..

The service was the best part, our waiter was prompt, and friendly; He also spoke in Japanese with us, which was a lot of fun.

This is one of many places where you're all, "waddaya wanna do tonight?" and your friend says, "I don't care". So you say, "get a beer? How bout Pike?".
You end up getting a shrug and going because it's a place where when you want a good beer that's average priced but the downside is when you're gettin down on some brews food somewhat necessary, and that's where Pike falls short.

As much as I want to give this place 5-stars, it kills me that I can't do it. I really love this place and, as a beer geek, I go there all the time.
The pub has improved dramatically since the original owners have regained control, and although the food remains adequate, it does not represent the same passions as the craft beer served.

First off, do not be fooled by first impressions. One could easily assume that this is corporate run tourist trap. Similar to an Applebee's or TGIF, there is all sorts of stuff hanging on the walls. But on closer inspection, everything is historic, and beer related. In fact, it is not uncommon to see the owner, sporting a bowtie, with some new beer memorabilia in hand, walking through the pub looking for a blank piece of wall.  The "museum bar" is a must for craft beer lovers as it represents a personal collection of historic beer stuff. This place might very well be the beer version of the Hard Rock Café.

The brewery itself is a result of a lifelong passion of fine beer. Even early on, Charles and Rose Finkel played incredibly important roles by introducing fine craft ales (and wine) to this country with their original import business before founding the Pike Brewery in 1989.

The pub reflects this appreciation and the IPA and Stout are as solid as one will be able to find here in the Pacific NW. If you are lucky, you might find yourself in on a day when they have thrown something on tap that is casked conditioned, which happens twice a week.

If you are a beer geek, seek this place out. It really is a love letter to the beer industry.

And then there is the food. It is not terrible, but does fall short in light that the kitchen is so close to the Pike Place Market, where some of the best ingredients are to be found in the region (bold, underline, italicize this last remark). Although I appreciate all the other improvements made to the space over the years, I do miss the supplemental "seasonal" menu they once offered.

Fire code prevents them from using deep fryers, but they managed to find some technology to produce fish and chips, regardless. This is a shame. Rather than use this limitation towards their advantage and differentiate themselves with a menu free of fried foods, they chose to pick the option that represents more standard "pub fare" selections.

They do offer a farmer's plate, and a cheese plate, but they are a little spendy and the portion sizes are a bit small. On the plus side, the appetizers are half-off during happy hour.

In my 10 years of patronage, I have always been impressed with the bar staff. Despite how busy it can get during peak tourism season, they have always been attentive and courteous. In fact, I have made efforts to compliment senior management with this point.

But who are we kidding? This place is about the beer. If you worship this beverage, this should be one of your Mecca's. I can't express enough that this place is the "real deal", and the Pike Pub and Brewery should be a destination for all lovers of craft ale.

Atmosphere was good, menu and beer were tasty, prices, ehh... let's not dwell on that yet.

Went here to get a breather during a family shopping trip to the PPM.  It was warm, dry, and had seating available away from the crush of people in the Market upstairs.

I ordered a beer sampler, wife had a glass of wine, the kids had juices  For food, my wife had the fish & chips and I went with a bratwurst (like a big hotdog)... the kids has cheese pizza and chicken nuggets.  The beer was tasty and the food was prepared well, but none of us were 100% thrilled with what we'd ordered... you know how sometimes you go somewhere new and you wished you'd picked "X" instead of "Y"?  This was one of those times, I think.

The price part... for the four of us, the bill with tip ran $85.  That's a lot for a lunch, in my opinion.  It was worth paying though, as other options around the market that day might have been crowded or not much in the way of seating.

I'd like to go back another time to try what I would have selected as my second choice.  Given we paid $17 to park, and e rarely make it into DT Seattle, I think it might be a while before I come back, however.

Oh... almost forgot... our server, Mateo, was spot-on and very attentive, one of the reasons I gave the place a 4 star rating instead of the 3 stars I was initially thinking.

The Pike brews some decent beer, but where do they get off charging $16 for a pitcher?

$16 a pitcher.  I'm sure rent on that prime Pike Market space ain't cheap, but is the brewing equipment lined with gold or something?  That can't be, because you can get a pitcher of the exact same beer at other bars in town for two to four dollars less.  By comparison, Maritime Pacific charges only $12.50 for a pitcher of (what I consider to be) vastly superior beer in their Ballard brewpub.

And the food ain't cheap either.  Lunch with a couple of beers can easily set you back nearly $30 after tax and tip.  To be fair, the grub is generally pretty good and the portions are reasonable.  And my colleagues and I invariably wind up there once a month or so for a late lunch/early happy hour.  But come on, it's a brewpub with gastropub prices.

As for the restaurant itself, the dining space is a little inconsistent.  The main dining room has your typical tables and booths, and is pretty comfortable for groups of up to about eight.  Step to the right and you'll find the bar area is dark and a little cramped, while the museum room is just kind of sterile and not terribly welcoming.  Plus it's frequently self-serve for drink and food orders.  It was much better back when they had the pool table and more of a proper pub environment.  While the wait and barstaff are generally competent and friendly, it's not enough to bump the total package to anything greater than average.

THE GOOD:
Some Beers

THE BAD:
The decor

THE LOWDOWN:
So we didn't eat here just came for some brews after eating right around the corner.  Had the sampler as it was my first visit to this brewery, Then I tried their trippel(12oz pour).  I like pale ales most, but didn't like theirs....however I am not the biggest fan of IPA's and theirs was really good.

Overall their beers didn't fit my needs but they were not bad by any means.  I would say a must try for anyone living or visiting the Pike's Place area and want some good local craft brews.

My travels brought me to the Pacific Northwest to the lovely city of Seattle for a few days of work in December. I have been to Seattle before, but this was the first time I had a chance to stay right in the city and walk the streets at will.

Finishing up with work early one afternoon I decided to make my way down to 1st Aveune to find a place for lunch. Just a few doors down from the world famous Pike's Place public market I found Pike's Pub were I found a stool at the bar. The lunch menu was extensive, but I settled on a pulled pork sandwich just to see how a southern dish was handled by the Seattle eatery. I must say, the pork was plentiful, a nice mix of sauces and the freshly baked roll made for an excellent lunch time meal. But the real claim to fame was the micro-brew beer selection they offered on tap. I settled on a seasonal amber called "Old Acquaintence", as in "should old acquaintence be forgot", because it was getting close to Christmas. The barkeep rattled off all of the ingredients which I couldn't remember, but they had a lot of interesting holiday fruits and spices. The result, a smooth lager with rich flavor and none of that funky after taste like you get with some micro-brews. I had a couple of pints and decided the day was young and made my way off to the Space Needle to do the tourist thing.

Next time I am in Seattle I will definitely head back to Pike's for a brew or two.

Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. I think we had an interesting experience here. Met up with some friends to watch some football and have some beer.  The bar itself was very large, with a variety of rooms. We were in a room with its own bar, with a large tv in the center.  Sadly, we were next to a room where a large group of people were having a wake. Yes, i said wake. At a pub. On a Sunday. During football games.  We repeatedly asked the waitress and bartender if we could turn on the sound on the tv, so we could hear the game we were watching. No. We had to be 'respectful' of the wake. In the pub. On a Sunday. During football.  Who has a quiet, respectful wake in a Pub anyway?

I am not a huge beer fan, being more of the American Light Lager girl (Coors Light, etc). But I was surprised that this brewery had only Ales and IPAs with no Lagers at all.  I ordered a cosmo after trying some beer.  The Nachos weren't too bad. Nothing to write home about. Eventually the wake was more 'festive,' so we were allowed to listen to the game. I hate to seem insensitive, but it wasnt like we were in a church trying to watch a game. I mean, wtf?!?!

I found it amusing that the bathrooms have a code; I felt like a secret spy! Then I realized that the alley off Pike Place (where the Gum Wall is) leads into this Pub, so they were keeping the bathrooms for customers only.  A lot less full of espionage, but perhaps more clean =)

I was surprised to see this place having only 3 stars, since its rated as one of the top pubs in the world by some rating I can't remember. But I would have to agree with the omniscient yelp gods. I thought that the decor was very pub like: saturated with aluminum beer signs, old beer brewing machinery, souvenirs galore, and a small museum of their history. Since this was the first time I had been to Seattle, my standards for a Seattle bar is very limited, but compared to other bars back home, I would say that the selection of beers is average, the prices are little more expensive than my typical pub, and the appetizers were average.

Nothing crazy exciting about this place, but my party left the pub happy and buzzed. If you're new to the area, its a nice touristy pub to sample some local beers and relax from your marathon walking of the market place.

We wanted to watch some football and the brewery seemed like a good place. The brewery is really big so there was no trouble getting in front of a big TV to watch the Seahawk/Niners game. The area we were in was almost too empty and lacked any energy. I figured with the game being in SF there would have been a lot of Seahawk fans in there getting into the game, but it was more like a ghost town.

We had a couple beers, solid but nothing too exciting. We also shared the nachos with pork. I didn't have much of them, but they didn't last long so they must have been good.

I made the mistake of not getting an actual Pike Pub beer ... Feeling a little girly, I instead opted for a pint of Washington Apple Cider. It was horrible - like a bad sour apple. I had to leave a wounded soldier; a sad first for me.

I ordered the burger, which was supposed to be from a fancy farm (I don't remember which farm). It was NASTY. I've had better burgers from McDonald's, and I refuse to eat at McDonald's.

The waitress was subpar. The host at the door was really friendly, talkative, and helpful when I wanted a couple of pint glasses to take home.

I've heard good things about the beer, so if I ever go back it will be for beer only.

-1 star because I've had better tasting Pike batches elsewhere. Its pretty bad when I've had better tasting Pike beers on tap across town than right here at its namesake. My Kiltlifter tasted somewhat flat that I got from the bar.

-1 star because they didn't have their smaller batch brews on tap at their own ale house. No Double IPA on tap :(

-1 star for the food / ambiance. Come on Pike... step it up on the food quality. The food is a reflection on you just as much as your beer is when you're serving this stuff up in the heart of Seattle tourism.
-------

I went here before checking out a show at the Showbox Market. I thought it would be a great place to meet up with a cousin that I hadn't seen forever to grab some brews, catch up, and grab bite to eat without having to drop as much cash as we might have to elsewhere in the neighborhood. We were able get a table rather easily and the server was very good about knowing when to come and check in on refills, our order, etc.

The food itself was mediocre. I grabbed a burger and my cousin ordered the Reuben sandwich. The french fries were some random freezer brand and weren't much to my liking. The burger itself was rubbery and somewhat firm... either the patty had been frozen or they just don't do a very good job cooking the food up. The veggies were very thinly sliced and the actual presentation was very sloppy. Very low quality for what I was expecting and for what I paid for.

I like Pike's beers just fine. They're not the best ever, but every so often I'll grab a Kilt Lifter (their scotch style ale) or a Pike Double Tandem because I find those two beers to be their best. 5$ pints are pretty much what I'd expect to be paying in this part of town so I really have no complains other than some of the craft brews were not available on tap. If I wanted to drink a bottle of your Double IPA I'd just go to a local grocery store and drop 4$. bleh :(

As a local I'm only dissapointed.
As a tourist I'd be pissed.

Why come here when there are so many great places to choose from in the downtown/belltown area?  The food is NOT GOOD, and many other bars serve their beers, the majority of which are quite decent.  The atmosphere is definitely lacking--it's one of those places that looks like it may have been a fun place ten years ago, but has passed it's prime. Maybe it's the way the seating is arranged or bad feng shui, but I just felt tired the moment I entered.

Oh, and if you sit along the edge in the bar area, they won't wait on you, they make you get up and order from the bar. Not cool, not cool at all.

If you can't drink the beer like me than wheat is there to do at this place? Eat some mediocre food of course! The design on the inside, while a little touristy, was pretty cool and the service was friendly enough. I just really didn't care for the food, but that isn't too much of a sin when you call your place a 'brewpub', So I can spare 3 stars.

Pretty much anyone who loves to drink fresh beer at brewpubs wants a great one in their neighborhood. For me, as a resident of Belltown, I guess the Pike Pub would be my neighborhood brewpub. So why do I actually travel outside my hood and visit Big Time, Maritime or The Elysian?

The first reason is that despite a change in ownership that saw the beer really improve, it hasn't improved across the board. Beers that were mediocre before are still largely mediocre. Sure, there are a few they do really well such as the XXXX Stout, but by and large they make no bones about not aiming very high.

Food is a step below decent and a notch above bad. Shouldn't it be a crime to make "meh" fish and chips in a market full of delicious fresh fish?

Then there's the atmosphere and service. Pike Pub isn't my neighborhood pub because I don't think they want to be. They're very successful being a tourist pub for those visiting the market and I think they're fine with that. Maybe this is why the servers approach their jobs as an afterthought ... for all they know, they'll never see you again after your visit since most of the patrons are tourists. They dion't really care, and believe me, you'll likely feel it when you visit.

And that's precisely why they so rarely see me ... or my money. Pike Pub is the hot date that whispers seductively in my ear ... and then sends me home without even letting me kiss her on the cheek.

A little on the price side, the food here is definitely worth every penny.  Pike Pub is located right up the block from the famous Pike Place market, from which this restaurant stocks up most of its kitchen.  This place has an interesting atmosphere, with old timey beer paraphernalia and Americana decor and photographs juxtaposed in an industrial structured room with chrome and exposed pipes.  Interesting and endearing.  But I digress...

The food!  You can't come to Seattle, to a restaurant known for its seafood and homemade beer pairings and order the bratwurst and a soda.  You know who you are.  I had such a difficult time deciding what I wanted to eat that I split the tuna salad and the salmon sandwich with a friend, both of which were fantastic, along with the olive plate appetizer.  The servings are generous, and the service was great.  It's definitely more of a tourist attraction than a local hotspot; but if you're in the area, you should at least check it out.

After reading some of the reviews, I guess it's a good thing we didn't eat a meal at Pike Pub!

Drank a few pints of the Weisse, tasted the Kilt Lifter and shot the shit with the bartenders. Good times! The only thing we did eat was the olive plate. But we almost didn't get it...about a half hour after ordering it, we had to re-ask the bartender for our order! They were tasty and just what we needed before heading out to do more touristy things.

Pike Pub is definitely a tourist joint, everyone we talked to was from somewhere else! No biggie, but sometimes you just want to talk to a local.

SPOILER: There are tons of knick knacks all over the walls!

Wait, was that a spoiler?  Probably not but I thought it was worth highlighting in case the floor to ceiling wall decoration gets missed by anyone.  So now that it's all out in the open I will move on.

Like most brewery restaurants, you come for the beer more than the food.  We have a lot of those from where I'm from and you definitely don't go expecting world class fine dining.  Stick to the basics that pair well with your tasty brewski and you will be golden.  I got the tuna salad sandwich and it was just dandy.  I might be wary of ordering something like that at most non-deli places but given the location and use of fresh local seafood I thought I'd be in good hands - and I was.  Good size portion too.  My partner in crime got the fish and chips (fish in season was the halibut and I was told it was really good). For the beer I got the Naughty Nellie and if you like lighter beers it's a very good choice.

Our server did his job...took our order quickly...got our drinks quickly...food was prompt...bill was prompt.  Nothing too personal or memorable, just good ol' fashion straight and narrow service.

So in close..the food is satisfying but no wow factor.  It's what you can call a "safe" meal if you are looking for something in the area that is well priced and reasonably quick.  But this isn't the place for anything super unique.

The beer here is good. Pike Pale, Kilt Lifter, and the Amber are all very good. It's a microbrewery in downtown Seattle and is a pretty well known establishment. That said, if I was rating just the food and service I would give it one star and tell people not to go there. However, the beer is very good and worth it just to sit at the bar.

My girlfriend and I went to lunch here since I'm from Seattle and like their beer and we also ordered food.  The fish and chips were sub-par and my girlfriend's hamburger was terrible.  Costco burgers taste better. I don't know what was up, but it was nasty.   Still worth getting a beer there though.

This place is a definite place if you are looking for some good brews and decent food. I DO recommend the Pike's Kilt Lifter and the XXXXX, and to top it off they come in pitcher form!

In terms of food, they have pretty decent appetizers, burgers and pizza, not outstanding but good enough to keep you happy; and really, once you've had enough beers does it even matter?

Like Elysian, my feelings toward The Pike are conflicted.  On one hand, they make quality beer, and have been longer than most other places in the region.  But on the other hand, my personal tastes have never been overjoyed by anything I've had there. But whether or not they're my favorite brewery in the area, there's no denying that they are an important cornerstone in the Seattle craft beer scene, and make a lot of high quality, craft brew.

As for the pub, I don't like it at all.  It is definitely more of a tourist spot than a local watering hole.  It's just not comfortable in any way shape or form.  And the food is definitely below average when compared to other local brewpubs.

So bottom line, any beer lover in the Northwest must try Pike beers at some point.  It's a right of passage to really knowing our local beer culture.  It may or may not become your new favorite, but either way, you have to appreciate what they do, and have done for the local beer scene.

What kind of Brewery closes at 12:30 on a Saturday night?

We cruised over there just before midnight to be told to "order up cause last call is coming". The place was EMPTY except for 2 or 3 tables.....

I don't get it? They have some awesome beers on tap, seems nice enough inside and the staff was friendly.

How come this place isn't more popular? Why is it closing early on a Saturday?

3 stars is perfect for Pike Brewery because it really is A-OK.  The beer is great; I've never had a brew here I didn't like.  In winter I go for the XXXXX (how many X's is it?) Stout or the Kilt Lifter while in the warmer months their IPA does me just fine.

Their food is good, solid pub fare, but priced a little on the high end for my tastes.  The Happy Hour pricing is fair, but seems to be about what you should pay for your meal instead of being a deal.

The space itself is also just 3 stars worthy - nothing wrong with it but nothing to sing from the rooftops either.  I guess I just prefer cozy wooden spaces for pubs instead of the industrial metal thing.

All in all, I'd recommend it if you want a beer while you're around the market and you can't get into Lowells, but it's not a destination on its own by any means.

A good place to drop in after meandering about the market upstairs. I didn't eat anything, but have in the past. Nothing too memorable, so it couldn't have been altogether bad or great.

Their beers are great, though. I love when you can see all the brewery equipment as you drink--'the circle of life' and all that. I (heart) Naughty Nellie. If you're like me, you'll accidentally call it Nervous Nellie, but they'll know what you mean. The Amber is good as well. Friend had the IPA and some Scotch Ale which he seemed to enjoy.

Yay, I am definitely a fan.

lets see, a friend and I had just arrived in seattle and were walking around looking at the sights and trying to find some grub. Finally we stumbled into this underground brewery.

the atmosphere: it was your local brewery, a nice place to chillax with friends and grab drinks, watch the game and chit chat. theres alot of interesting things on the wall to look at and plenty of TVs to watch.

The food: I had the salmon burger, kinda weird i thought but what the heck i was near a fish market. Surprisingly, it was pretty fab, titillating to the taste buds. the fries good and the tartar sauce that my friend had with his fish n chip equaled bombtastic baby!!!!

Beer: alot of seattle folk seem to enjoy the wheaty heff beers, and the weiss beer was pretty much great.

yeah its a go in my book [ or stomach]

The beer was delicious and food was pretty good.  The server was attentive and really great about making sure my dining companion and I had what we needed but not to the point where he was hovering and just trying too hard.  Yes, the food is a wee bit expensive but when you are located in the heart of a tourist mecca, it's to be expected.
Go during happy hour, enjoy a few pints and then enjoy the rest of your day.

So this place is very touristy and the food caters to that (prices and all), but it has some good craft beer, especially the IPAs and seasonal ales. When roaming around the marketplace, it's a nice place to stop for a drink.

Had a nice Sunday lunch here when my wife and I visited Seattle a little while back. Loved the look and atmosphere of the place. Dark, rich wood with black iron accents. Lots of beer paraphernalia on the walls and elsewhere. A few well placed neon signs add a little color to the place. Lots of different seating options too, booths, high tables, regular tables, the bar, etc. Most visitors shouldn't have trouble getting comfortable one way or another. The service was good, our server in particular was always there when needed, but didn't stay too close. The food was alright. The bacon cheddar burger I had was cooked right and all, but the sauces used to accent it weren't quite my kind of flavor and other than that nothing really stood out about it. My wife did enjoy here salmon sandwich though. The fries were great too.

I really felt the quality of the beer on hand was excellent. I had a Pike's Kilt Lifter and a Celebrator Doppelbock, both on-tap and both of which were served in fine glassware and at perfect temps. Poured properly, with a good look at the head still there when it got to the table.

All in all, this was a great little establishment. I'd give the food another chance. The location isn't half bad. They're in Pike's Market, but still have relatively close street access. Price wise, this was one of the more reasonably priced meals we had downtown during our stay in Seattle.

Chicken BBQ nachos. Sounds gross- it isn't. And at happy hour (M-F 4-6pm) they are discounted! Beer deals too- oh la la. Beer is pricey at $5 a pint regularly.

Prices are a little higher and portions a little smaller then could be hoped for bar food, but the beer is original with awesome names (naughty nellie, Triple X). Plus, you are practically in the market. Drinking beer. nice.

The décor of this place fits in perfectly with the aura and essence of the touristy Pike Place experience. The wood interior had a fun twist to the normal "pub feel". There were all sorts of interesting things inside of the restaurant and on the walls. We had quick and friendly service, and the food was adequate but nothing too unique or out of the ordinary from a normal pub menu. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the beers on the menu and even let my friend and I sample some since we are not beer connoisseurs (shhh don't tell). Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely go again. FYI, It seemed like a great place to take a family or a group of friends.

First of all, I wouldn't think of eating here, no matter how good the food MIGHT be.  The layout of this place is a frickin' circus.  The only reason we ventured into this place is because we saw some Scottish guy in the market carrying what they call a "Growler" of beer...basically a glass jug.  And it looked so cool we had to get one.

We got the pale ale, which was more a cross between a more Amber brew and pale, but it was a good balance.  Not too bitter and not too malty, quite crisp and refreshing.

The bottle lasted us like 3 nights and was a good dinner drink to go along with the seafood we were grilling up every night during our stay in Seattle.

I was really not impressed with this place.  Dingy and lacked personality to say the least.  With all the other hot spots in the area I wouldn't bother with this place.  We had to walk to the room where the main bar was to order our drinks.  It was an eternity before anyone came by to take our food order, which by the way was lacking in everything.

Friendly service and a great atmosphere make this place a winner!

This review is for the beer. Because Pike is a brewery.

Pike has got some great beers - The Kilt Lifter is a very good Scotch Ale, the Naughty Nellie is a refreshing and easy-drinking golden ale, and the 6X Stout has hints of coffee in its extra dark malt. By far my favorite, however, is the Monk's Uncle, a Belgian-style Tripel that is strong but delicious.

Their brewing operation is packed downstairs, which is accessible from an almost comically small spiral staircase - take the tour if you get a chance. Head Brewer Drew Cluley gave us a tour even though he had come in on his day off to work on a batch of stout, just because he's an awesome guy.

Two things that Washington does better than most states:  Crab cakes and beer.

Pike Place Brewery is definitely touristy, which is to be expected since it is in the Market.  Therefore, it is pricey and full of souvenirs to be purchased.

They change their menu occasionally, one of the items that I found to be pretty tasty was the Asian infusion crab cakes, a  nice twist on the traditional king crab cakes with aioli.  Sadly, it is no longer on the menu.  I have had a few other menu items from here, nothing to rave about but better than places like Red Robin...

The kiltlifter is probably the best beer they craft.  Overall, Pike Place Brewery is not the best brew pub in the Northwest but it is certainly worth a visit, especially for tourists.

I also went to their Burns' Day celebration here, that was very well put on and fun.  The owner of the joint was mingling with guests the whole evening, I was very impressed by him.

I came here in a group of 7. The host said it'll be a 20 minute wait for a table, so we sat down on the side near the elevator for OVER 20 minutes! Once it hit 30 minutes, my mom went back to the host to check on our table, and that's when she told us our table was ready. I swear to God I think they forgot about us! On our walk to our table, I saw a bunch of other tables that were empty (seemed like they were empty for a long while) that they could've sat us at.

Anyway, the waitress was nice. We ordered our food and we didn't have to wait too long for the food to arrive. Although, the waitress left us two pitchers of water for us to serve ourselves. Yah, she gave us 7 empty glasses and 2 pitchers of water and left. We had to pour our own water and since she left the pitchers of water at our table, it's just one less thing for her to do. It doesn't seem like the waitresses here don't care for their tip, but since we had a party of 7, 18% gratuity was added to our bill. I was pretty upset with the service we received.

Food here is ok, but it ain't worth it for the price!
