Review from Carrie E.
Philadelphia, PA
This is one of the suburban locations of Pierre & Carlo...
I've been here for various services and I've never been disappointed. Besides the standard massages, facials and mani/pedis (which are all good) they have a service called "Bathing Ritual with Chromotherapy" that is really cool. You sit in a big overflowing bathtub (the water comes from the ceiling) in the aromatherapy blend of your choice (I'm a sucker for the lavender). But wait - there's more! Different color lights dance back and forth in the water to create this very space-age, relaxing environment. Supposedly each color corresponds to a different mood (red for courage and energy, purple for serene and peaceful, etc). I don't know if that's really the case but I felt super mellow when I got out, so I'm not going to overanalyze it!Listed in: I Feel Pretty, Philadelphia Rubdown

Review from Jane D.
Washington, DC
When I asked for thin highlights, they gave me thick highlights. When I came in for a trim, I got a major haircut. When I came in for a brazilian wax, I still walked off with work to do. I learned my lesson, and that is to not return. I used to live here so was given a 15% discount on Tuesdays, but never returned ever since Karla left. The lady who did the brazilian wax couldn't have been any more condescending, and she didn't even do a good job. I am generous with my star rating and if I had the option to give this place a 0 out of 5, I would. Don't come here!

Review from Stacy B.
Gatlinburg, TN
A pathetic hair cut for a huge price. Had an appointment after work at 6pm (the salon closes at 7). I think that was a big mistake as she seemed to be in a great hurry to finish up. When I took the appointment I informed the lady over the telephone that I have really thick hair and need some one experienced; so the lady receommended Maria who supposedly has 20 years of experience. Went for the appointment and told Maria that I want a style that would require less maintenance while it looked professional enough. She recommended emphasizing my wavy hair instead of ironing it. Sounded like a plan to me. Went for a wash and came back, she trimmed it by an inch or so even though Iwanted it shorter; she told me it wouldn't look nice, so I kept quite. She finished cutting it in under 15 minutes which must be a record for my hair and started blow drying it. Then she ironed it partly so now it looked like I had tried ironing my hair for the first time in my life. When I told her to make changes she told me to be happy with what I have as many people don't have hair! I don't really need to hear that. Can't wait for my hair to grow out of this. Actually had to come home and cut a lock of hair that she had missed!
