Dr. Patel is amazing!!! I appreciated the constant communication throughout my wisdom teeth extractions. He checked on me frequently asking if I felt any pain. He made sure to make it smooth and painless for me.

Definitely recommend! The communication here is a 10 out of 10!

Update!
This is a perfect example of customer service recovery. Since my last post, each time I have called Dr. Patel's office, the staff have provided their names when answering the phone. In addition, when I was there for my post-op visit earlier this week, Sreya from the front office made it a point to apologize for the miscommunication and assure me that anytime I had any questions to please let her or Amy know (I think her name was Amy? ugh, so terrible of me not to remember names after complaining! I'm very sorry!).

I am super impressed by the professionalism and sincerity with which Sreya acknowledged my concerns. Kudos to all for listening to feedback and making small, but impactful improvements so swiftly!! It means a lot to me, so thank you!

I had a very pleasant experience at this practice. The staff was nice and friendly, as was Dr. Patel. He was quick but thorough, diagnosing an odd bump on my lip as ... well, nothing to worry about. Yay!

I will use this practice again when ... well, IF ... I need an oral surgeon. Hopefully not :)

Dr. Patel is outstanding. From his caring bedside manner, his gentle technique for administering numbing shots to the flawless and efficient root canal was so refreshing. As a person who has seen the inside of the dentist's office more than I'd like to admit, Dr. Patel went above and beyond when he fit me in last minute for a root canal and biopsy on a referral from my dentist. He thoroughly explained what was going on with a mass / tumor that was discovered in a CAT scan and gave me a brief education illustrating with images so I grasped it all. His staff is lovely. I have seen some Dr.'s in town who don't come close to Dr. Patel's level of concern and class.

I got two wisdom teeth extracted last month and Dr. Patel was amazing! It took him just a few minutes to pull the teeth out- I was stunned at how quickly I was done. The staff is also very caring! Would definitely recommend.

I had work done and it was quick and painless. I definitely recommend him and his team for extracting or any other oral facial surgery. Very comfortable and relaxing environment. I didn't have a long wait I was in and out within 30 mins total. Once again I highly recommend this location.

I was so impressed with this practice!! The entire staff was amazing to me from the beginning with my multiple questions regarding insurance and then they even called after the procedure to check in on me. I had my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday and my nerves were through the roof. I did not want to be put under but I didn't know if i could stomach the procedure without being under. Dr Patel explained all of my options to me and I ended up just using laughing gas and I am so happy that I did. He numbed my teeth and I sat under the laughing gas and then he pulled the wisdom teeth. The overall process lasted only about 20 minutes. Dr Patel made me feel extremely comfortable and explained what he was doing step by step. I am SO happy I chose Piedmont Oral for this procedure.

Dr Jay Patel is one of the nicest, most humble, understanding, and amazing oral surgeon in Atlanta, ga. My dentist informed me that, I had cavities in all if my wisdom teeth when I went to have my teeth cleaned. So I needed to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted asap, and i started looking for a really good oral surgeon. I immediately found Dr. Patel, and scheduled a consultation with him. He informed me that it would be a smooth, quick, and easy process. So I set up my appointment to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled on his next available day for surgery. I had called the office several times asking a million questions even after my consultation, and everytime I called they answered them with no hesitation. The day of my surgery I was so scared, and wanted to cry lol I've never had surgery in my entire life, and was thinking the worse. When I got to the office for my appt, I asked several more questions to Mariel. She was professional, nice, and reassured me that I was in good hands so that eased my anxiety a little bit. I even spoke with Sreya who always answered my questions promptly, and was always very professional as well. After the dental assistants put me under the laughing gas, and Dr. Patel sedated me with the the anthesia putting the iv in my arm. I literally was asleep in seconds, and I don't remember anything at all. I know Dr. Patel told me that after I'm asleep he would be using the local anthesia to numb my gums for the procedure as well. When I woke up I was a little dizzy, and out of it just a little bit coming off of the sedation. The surgery went so fast, and I wasn't feeling as bad as, I thought I would. Dr. Patel and the dental assistants told me everything went well and it was a smooth surgery. They put me in a wheel chair, and had my ride help me inside of the car. They called me not even a hour after, I left to check on me. I even called after they closed to ask about me repacking my gauze in my mouth, and Dr. Patel called me back in exactly 1 minute! The office even called me the next day to check on me to do a follow up. Let me say this THIS ORAL SURGEON OFFICE AND STAFF ARE INCREDIBLE PEOPLE! Everyone in the office from the receptionist, dental assistants, and Dr. Patel made me feel so comfortable and safe. I literally was so fearful and scared to have this surgery. From the consultation, calling asking a million questions, and the day of surgery was simply amazing! I received the upmost care, outstanding customer service, and I was taken care of like I was family. Getting all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at one time is very serious, and this oral surgeon office did their due diligence to make sure that I had a great experience. Dr. Patel is very kind, professional, understanding, and a EXPERTISE IN THIS FIELD. He literally pulled all 4 teeth out precisely and perfectly from the root. It take a very skilled surgeon like Dr. Patel to extract teeth this perfectly, and I'm so happy that I found him. He is a oral surgeon that take pride in his work and it shows. Dr. Patel is the best! I had two wisdom extracted a few years ago by another oral surgeon. The pain was unbearable. I got my remaining two extracted by Dr. Patel. My experience was painless. He and his assistant provided thorough instructions on caring for my extraction sites. Dr. Patel also provided me pain relievers. I may have used the meds for 2 days. I would recommend Dr.Patel to anyone in the need of extractions and that may be afraid to get them done.
