I like Piecora's because they serve NY style pizza, which means thinner crust. Good tasty pizzas but probably 10-15% more expensive than comparable places. They deliver and or if you're going there they have a small parking lot in the back.

Hot Tip: They have a promo called "recession Monday" where everything is 1/2 off every 1st Monday of the month after 8pm. You will also need a coupon which is inside the Stranger (or is it Seattle Weekly?). Just call them to double-check.

Recap of your evening at Piecora's:

ME: I am going to order the spaghetti but I don't want the meatballs
HER: I will totally eat your meatballs baby!!!
ME: Oh really????!!?

So Piecora's is the kind of place where you can have your meaty meaty meatballs eaten by your loved ones. Score for me!!!!!!!!!

But seriously their marinara sauce is to die!! Because you could pretty much could coat a snickers bar in it and I will eat it. Yes it's that good!!! So if your down for some tasty grub and some good times(beer) then Piecora's just might be your place!! Cheers

i think piecora's pizza is pretty good. however, their cheesy garlic bread with marinara sauce is delicious!

however, i don't enjoy having my yummy cheesy garlic bread thrown on my table as the server just passes by, topped off by a grunted "sorry".  and i *love* being asked if  i'd like the check, as if it's the biggest hassle in the world. and this is after waiting patiently for 15 minutes, trying to get his attention.

the service here is terrible. i used to work in a pizza place, and i understand that food service isn't the greatest job in the world, but a tiny smile? a little bit of common courtesy? it's not that hard people.

so, i may continue to eat here. i seem to go months without stopping by, and then consumed with hunger, decide i just had a bad experience the last time, and try it again. and i am never surprised. the pizza is always pretty good, and my waiter is always a dick.

So, going to Italy almost ruined me for pizza FOREVER. However, I still wouldn't call this bad pizza. In fact, I think it's pretty damn good. And - there are two great things that set this place apart from most other pizza places in Seattle:

1) They carry hard alcohol, and the pours are RIDICULOUSLY strong. You can totally pre-funk for a Chop Suey show here, and prepare your stomach lining for all that booze with greasy goodness.

2) You can order ANYTHING you want on a slice. Really. Customize it however you want - and they'll make it. Just one slice! You don't have to F around with a half and half pie (altho they will do that too). If your friend wants meat-o-rama and you want just artichokes and kalamata olives, you're all set!

I feel like when you want some pizza, you can be as picky as you want to be in search of the 'perfect one', but - you're probably never going to be satisfied. Look for decent pies, and things that will enhance your pizza experience instead! Then you'll be happy and full of food.

AUGH!  I'd rather eat a hairball.

Okay, no I wouldn't.  Hairballs are gross.  This "pizza" is just BAD.

Full disclosure - this review is based on one experience, and maybe we had their "pizza" on an off night.  That being said, it was awful.  We rang up for delivery, ordered a medium pie, half cheese, half pepperoni.  Twenty bucks seemed over-priced, but we weren't in the mood to cook, and Seattle's a wasteland for delivery, so I anted up with the credit card, and 40 minutes later....

It wasn't DONE.  It wasn't COOKED.  The sauce was okay, if a little metallic and redolent of old dried herbs.  The cheese was rubbery.  And the crust was very under-done in the middle.  VERY under-done.

We couldn't eat it.  It went down the trash chute in the morning.

And, folks?  NOTHING LIKE NEW YORK PIZZA.  Sorry.  Just stop trying, Seattle!  It's something in the water.

It's a bit overpriced- because, where you can find fast, tasty, and cheap usually hand in hand is extremely rare (5) this place gives you delicious and with haste; I loved some of the toppings here, the meatballs are amazing! If you love calzones, then make sure to get one.. Same goes for the cheesebread!

I discovered Piecora's on my first night living in Seattle, coming from New York before that. Their pizza is actually a pretty decent simulation of traditional New York style. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their pesto.

I'm docking a star for the price, though... $23 for a large half pepperoni/half pesto and black olive? That's a little steep. At least they deliver for free.

After puzzling for quite awhile about how to say the name of this establishment (I asked - it's "Pih-cora's"), I actually tried their food, and I found it to be damn good.

BUT.  It's a little pricy (it didn't seem too expensive for a few slices, but it was quite a bit to get a whole pie) and it took FOR-EV-ER to get our food.  We just ordered some slices, but they were in the process of making them, I guess, because we sat there forever just waiting. It was kind of irritating, but well worth it once I actually got my pizza. Yum!

In the words of my Original New York grandfather, "Wha'append?!"

When you write a review here on Yelp, they have the "additional tips on this business" which includes a "Good for:" section, which includes stuff like "Breakfast" or "Brunch", etc. I am wishing they had a checkbox for "NOTHING."

I remember coming here when we played Chop Suey and thinking it was the best damned slice o'pizza ever. I walked back in and got myself a second slice, it was so fricken good. So when I pulled up tonight to go watch some friends play, I figured hell yeah I'll go stuff myself full of pizza! I should have just dug around in the dumpster.

Thank god I took it slow and only ordered a single slice! That is... when someone finally paid enough attention to me to take my order.

There are moments in my life where I wonder to myself if I am looking really angry or pissed off enough that people won't talk to me or maybe I'm just butt-fugly and revolting or maybe I've finally done it and mutated and turned invisible? Tonight was one of those nights.

I walked in and a nice young feller asks me if I'm
"eating in or taking out?"
"Taking out."
"OK dude here will take your order."
Dude there ignores me. Hello? WTF? Is this thing on?

That's ok, though, I'm a nice, easy going type of guy. I look around for a weekly paper, I figure maybe I'll just eat in and miss some of the opening band. I tell a new person standing there that I've decided I'll sit down and she haphazardly throws a finger over her shoulder at a line of empty tables. OK... I'll just choose my own adventure and sit down.

I immediately know what I want, and look around for service. A feller drops off a glass of water, refuses to look at me, says nothing and rushes off.

I'll be fair, I just sat down, they're giving me a minute, so I flip open my paper and lightly scan while keeping an eye out for whoever my server is.

Several servers walk by, delivering food to people around me. I catch eyes and nod in the universal, "I'm ready" manner. They look away and keep going. I catch other eyes, and raise my hand with one finger up in the universal, "I'm ready" manner. They look away and keep going. I sit and watch a group of three servers talking to each other about 5 feet from me. I say, "Excuse me?"

Nothing.

I look at my shirt. I can see myself, check, and it's clean, check. I don't have a big "FUCK WAITERS!" sign on (that I can tell). I'm not bleeding heavily. I don't have any dangerous weaponry, missing teeth, or extra appendages.

I begin to think to myself: do I
1) stand up and shout "HEY CAN I GET SOME FUCKING SERVICE?!'
2) leave
3) time how long it takes and write a nasty review later because I'm hungry and want some good fucking pizza, a salad, and a coke and a smile like now?

As I'm deciding on option 1 a really pissed off looking girl walks over and asks me what I want. I order, with a nice smile on my face, friendly as possible. She barely acknowledges me and takes off.

I get my coke.

I get my salad, which was pretty good: lettuce, cheese, olives, mushrooms, tomato. Olives make everything yummy. But $4.25? For rabbit food?

I get my pizza slice. Olives and mushrooms. I sprinkle some red pepper on it (thank god I didn't have to get someone's attention to ask for it!), pick up my slice and my slice suddenly resembles the Titanic: olives and mushrooms abandon ship. As I pick them up to try to stick them back on my slice, I realize they're kind of warm, but my slice is much warmer and the cheese appears to have been melted on at some point.

Wait... what the fuck is going on here? My pizza slice was a slice of cheese pizza, cooked at an earlier point, then reheated with my toppings on deck? Is this standard operating procedure? I close my eyes and imagine the last time I was in Pagliacci's. I'm not a smart man, but I seem to remember they had an oven that my slice was cooked in. I think back to eating pizza in New York. It was piping hot, freshly melted cheese, the toppings glued to the top like my 3rd grade macaroni picture frame christmas gift for my mom.

I eat my pizza, and it tastes ok, but I'm really fucking annoyed that I was ignored to the point that I was getting self-conscious and angry, that my waitress regards me as she would a splinter in her toe, and that my pizza was put together like a Yugo.

Seriously, looking back on it, I should have dropped my pants and pissed on their table.

This is the best NY style pizza I've had in Seattle.  True NY style, it's a large slice of thin pizza that you have to fold the pizza over to eat it, and it's delicious! The beer selection is also pretty good, and the garlic cheese bread is awesome.

The location is great - close to many of the music venues on Cap Hill. The servers are usually tattooed, but are always polite, quick. and efficient. No matter what time of night I go in, there's always other people there, but I've never had to wait.

I read some other reviews complaining about the slices and salad. Don't know about that, but the made to order pies are awesome, and usually really quick, so that's what I get. I eat here at least 3-4 times per month.

A little pricey but as far as choices on the hill, simply the best. The pie's are large and the contents fresh. Try THE QUEENS filled with home made crumbled meatballs. Worth the price for a decent date and movie night at your house when you order in. The best pizza on the hill... period.

I have a picky New York girlfriend and Piecora's is one of the few places she enjoys a good cheese pie.  The pizza is great, the people are great and you can get half a cheese pie and two sodas for $15 and be full the rest of the night.  It is great for large parties and group events!

Dear Pie,

What happened?  When we first met last spring, I thought we had a true relationship that could blossom into something beautiful.  You with your ultra hip staff, the Piecora Special salad that was to die for.  Then you showed me your coppacola, and it was all over.  I was in heaven.  You had me at free delivery.  Then, things slowly changed.  At first, I chalked up the tepid slice to just an off night.  It's ok.  Sometimes it happens.  Then, I noted a pattern.  An hour for delivery on a Thursday night (and I'm only a block and half away).  More tepid slices that tasted like they were baked this morning.  I shook my head in disbelief.  Is there a way that we can make this work?  Can we rekindle the flame in that pizza oven of yours and serve up something hot?

Once Yours,
Denice M.

The servers are cute.

The slices are disgusting (It's true, they let an already cooked cheese pizza sit for a looong time and throw toppings on it and throw it in the oven for a quick reheat.)

The whole and half pizzas aren't bad.

The salads are good.

also....mmmmmmm....cheesebread

Piecora's has a decent lunch special: a slice with whatever 2 toppings you want and a side salad for about $6.
The salad was pretty good, no iceburg.
The slice left something to be desired.  You pick your two toppings, they sprinkle some on an already-been-cooked slice of cheese, cook it again and deliver it to you a few minutes later.  The result:  dry, flavorless crust (which is too thick for the measly smathering of adornments) that is not even comingled with the toppings.  Your olives fall off, your mushrooms blow away in the breeze!

Try this:

broccoli, mushrooms, roasted garlic, and artichoke hearts.

Piecora's Pizza is a pretty good pizza joint.  Not necessarily the most awe-inspiring pizza around, but it's reasonably priced, and their restaurant is good about accommodating large groups.

Plus: Their eggplant sandwich is my FAVORITE!  A must-try if you're an eggplant lover like me  :)
Also, they have this lava cake dessert which is essentially chocolate cake warmed up with hot chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream... DELISH!

Neutral:  They have a specialty pizza that features peppers and garlic... beware!!!  There was WAAAYYY TOO MUCH garlic on this pizza (and believe me I love garlic), but that's literally all I tasted.  There is so much garlic on that pizza, that if I was a vampire and just looked at it, I'd keel over dead!

Cons:  Can often be crowded at dinner time, so you may have to wait a few to get a seat...

Overall, it's a fun casual place to grab some pizza and beers with friends... and also a place to see familiar faces if you live on the hill.  :)

I'd like to give them one star, but their pizza sure is tasty, when it's been available to me, anyway.  Like when I'm at a friend's house in the CD.

WTF is with them not delivering to the ID!  The website says Dearborn (a block south of me) is their southmost delivery... but they won't effing deliver to my place!  Don't go west of I-5, they say.  I didn't see that on the website... AND the girl took all my info, except the order, BEFORE telling me that they don't deliver here, when I'd specifically mentioned the apartment complex I live in.

I just want some fucking pizza delivery, dammit!

We reserved the big table in the back room for a friend's birthday party at this place once. We ordered several pizzas, many pitchers and gave them a ton of business. In return they made us lackluster pizza and vacuumed for 45 minutes while we were eating.

Another time we stood at the door waiting to be seated; when none of the servers bothered to acknowledge us we politely asked one if we should seat ourselves. They responded by saying nothing and walking away only to return with the "Please Wait To Be Seated" sign. Once it was placed in front of us they silently walked away again leaving us to wonder if we had murdered their family or something. We left.

This was one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten.  Chewy crust, hard and soggy at the same time.  Aside from the horrible taste, the dispatcher said it would be there in 1/2 hour, 45 minutes later we received our cold, disgusting pizza. Nevermore, Piecora's.

If only there were more places in Seattle where you could get a good meal at 11:00 PM for less than $15.  I grew up in New York, and this place is as close to a New York pizzeria as I've found out here.

The service generally leaves something to be desired (which is disappointing considering the number of employees), but the pizza and subs are excellent, and they serve up an excellent Greek Salad to boot.

I have to give Piecora's credit for one thing.  I've never seen a restaurant with so many employees working at once.  There were plenty of people in the very-vibey restaurant, and yet nearly half of them must have been behind the counter.  With this degree of staffing, I'd have expected more.

I ordered a cheese pizza by the slice (reasonable price of about $2.50).  This is not exactly a huge cross-section of the menu, but anecdotally, it seems I got the overall experience anyway.  This isn't really New York pizza - it isn't foldable, and the crust veers more toward Chicago territory.  But for what it is - reasonably cheap, fast pizza - it's all right.

My piece was a little too thinly layered with cheese for my taste, and suffered from air bubble-induced blankness over too large of a section.  This is perhaps excusable as unavoidable, but the crust wasn't.  It was overcooked and crunchy in an unpleasant, almost-burnt way.  I didn't find any intriguing seasoning or anything of the sort to separate Piecora's from the competition,

I found service to be all right.  I got my piece way faster than I'd expected for it being made to order.  But (again, anecdotally) I've heard of abrasive service at this place before.

The best part of the restaurant easily is the atmosphere.  When I went, the patrons were friendly, and clearly enjoying themselves.  There was no bleached Pizza Shack to-go quietness.  It crawls with Capitol Hill vibrancy, and is all the better for it.

There are better options for pizza out there, but if it's 11 PM, you're in the neighborhood of 14th and Madison, and you're not looking for a transcendent experience, Piecora's should be good enough.

I really wish I could give this place five stars.  This is my place of choice for ordering pizza.

Generally, the pizza is really good.  They have some combo options that are really popular with my vegetarian friends.  Everything I have ever ordered from this place has come in extremely generous portion sizes.  The meatball subs are excellent.  The hot wings don't seemed like they are fried and their sauce is spicy, but not the traditional buffalo wing taste, but good.  My personal favorite is their calzone.  It seems like they take a full sized pizza crust, fill it with goodies, fold it in half, bake it, and serve it with a side of marinara.  I can usually make three meals out of this.

My issues with this place:
1.  It's slow despite whether you are ordering in, for take-out, or delivery (I've done all three).
2.  The crust on the pizza is hit or miss.  Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it's over done.
3.  One combo pizza delivered to you house with tax and tip equals $30!  Ouch!

I should be punished for not reviewing this place earlier.  I live blocks away and used to come here much more often when my ex was around (Read...Pizza Lover).  I, on the other hand, am a pizza at times lover.  But this place is pretty darn good.  The best deal in the 'hood is the calzone.  However Piecora's gets four stars b/c the calzone creation quality is sporadic at best.  Mostly awesome, sometimes totally underwhelming.  The only pizzas I order are the cheese and the Brooklyn, which is awesome.  Other pies have come out just ok.  The Caesar salad is great and so are the wings.  Their lasagne is nice and cheesy so if you are looking for a carb overload their pastas are the way to go.
Also...a little side note. I never see anyone order the desserts, but the Cannoli and the Fruit Tarts are really tasty...like better than most.

Really I read along and think what have I eaten to be so jaded amongst the high stars here? Because this place is ordinary. The pizza is better than the frozen box kind but it's not great and if I'm gonna have half interested waiters not waiting on me then that food better make up for it. I took the left over pie just so I could keep the box...

Not bad.
Not great.
Good.

The crust is awesome, but who buys pizza for the crust? (Don't answer.)

I had a pepperoni and chicken pizza and I think it's the chicken that threw me off-- it didn't really resemble or taste like chicken. I was almost sort of frightened. BBQ sauce is great guys, but I didn't ask for a pepperoni and BBQ pizza, at least not one with chicken saturated in it. I'm still not sure if it was chicken or beef. :\

Not sure who the server for us was, we had two guys that were confused most of the time and an over-worked server/host/?? that disappeared after a couple appearances.

Oh, and to the guy with a chest-full-of-hair in front of us with a party of 2, when they ask for a "party of 9", it means they have a table ready for the 9, but not the 2. No need to get goofy and tell them "We were here first," because there weren't any 2 or 4 tops ready for you, dumbass. Tsk tsk on that horrible shirt with chest hair action, you're not Burt.

Piecoras: You make me want to fucking kill myself.

What is it you do? New Yorkish style pizza right? So someone calls up and asks for -- like it says on your motherfucking menu "*Extra* thin crust available upon request" -- extra thin crust -- see there? just like it says on your motherfucking menu -- extra thin crust -- someone calls up and asks for extra thin fucking crust -- you know extra thin -- as it says on the menu -- you know, as in what the fuck you specialize in -- you know as in New York fucking pizza as it says *underneath* your fucking name on the motherfucking menu -- New York Pizza -- so someone calls up and asks for extra thin crust and you write down? what do you write down? "Extra thick crust" ('cause I have the motherfucking ticket here in front of me). So why? Why do you write this down. Perhaps you couldn't hear correctly; the phone cut out; they're liable to do that; lots of background noise on your end; maybe you misunderstood? Perhaps you just heard "extra thi..." crust. Understandable. I get it. You're busy. The teevee's on. The hipster doofus running the register is wearing distractingly extra-tight women's jeans tonight. I get it. But you couldn't make that one letter jump. Just one letter -- much less effort than two -- to "n." As in "thin". Thin. As in extra thin motherfucking crust motherfucker. You know, as it says on the menu. And as might be approximated by a joint claiming to make New York style pizza. An N. My dinner, and so much more, ruined over an N. Over that synapse not firing in that stoned little brain. Who orders and extra thick crust? Hm? From a place specializing in New York fucking pizza? Where on the motherfucking menu it says, I repeat again just in case that nad-bulge is still distracting you, "Extra thin crust available upon request." For that matter who orders and extra thick crust on an overdone pizza?

I'm mostly broke. Most always. Currently foodless. Now, still foodless. This was my one little bitty, motherfucking indulgence for the week. A nice eastcoastish pie. Not a thick, overdone-orange-cheesed, sauceless, extra thick dough boat. I can't even bring myself to look at it (see picture). What has happened to you? You used to be a vessel of goodness. Lovely warm-gooey pieness. Why do you hate me? Why would you take my hard-earned dough (14 fucking dollars) in exchange for hard dough? A life as such is a life thrown away. I cannot bear it. I shall slice my wrists with an extra thick, over-wrought motherfucking crust end.

Pizzabortion.

Asshats.

Eight hungry swing dancers showed up at Piecora's one night after we found our regular haunt, the Elysian, closed for renovation. We walked into Piecora's and were greeted by the staff quickly. A basic pizza joint, Piecora's is surprisingly large, accommodating pairs, trios, and apparently octets.

We sat at a corner table booth and perused the menu. With drink choices taken first, one of the swing dudes and I each ordered a Reed's Ginger Ale. The server told us there was no Reed's, only Canada Dry. Whatever. Hit us with the Canada Dry. Most everyone else asked for beer, though Piecora's was out of one order. Maybe because we were there after 10pm???

Moving on, our group decided on food preferences. I can't eat gluten, and was disappointed the only item I could order safely was a salad. I asked for the house salad (greens, tomato, black olives, mozzarella, green pepper) and tried not to be cranky as my friends placed orders for cannoli, meatball sandwiches and pizza.

My "ginger ale" showed up, and it was a fountain-poured drink which tasted eerily like Sprite. Swing dude with the other ginger ale order agreed with me. Oh, well, as long as we're not charged the more expensive Reed's price, no biggie. About five minutes later, my salad appeared. I picked out all the black olives and gave them to my olive-loving swing dance "sister" (we've been told we look alike). The salad greens looked fresh, though the pieces were quite big. The tomato didn't look so good, but when I'm starving I can be very forgiving. The meatball sandwiches, I was told by both gents who ordered them, were "ok." Two of the girls split 1/2 pizza, which they enjoyed. My sister, however, was not a happy dancer. The pineapple pizza slice she ordered was not served. Instead she received a cheese slice. When a member of our crew pointed this out, the server offered to bring some pineapple out, but my sister declined. Who wants cold pineapple plopped on top of the pizza? The cannoli she ordered...well, that never made it to the table, either.

When the bill arrived, not only were we charged the more expensive ginger ale price, but my sis was charged for her invisible pineapple and cannoli. What's that about?

All in all, the staff were certainly friendly, but that's not enough. I would be surprised if we return.

I've only been here a couple of times, so I can't really speak to consistency, but in my estimation, this place is the real deal.  Very East-Coastish.  It's pretty no frills, so I think that it is best appreciated by keeping it simple: just order a plain or pepperoni pizza, shut-up and eat.

I'd rate this place 3.5 stars if that were an option...

I'll admit I'm not much of a pizza snob.  If it has veggies, meat and cheese, and doesn't taste like cardboard, I'm good with it.  I've eaten here a few times and the pizza has always been good - sometimes very good, sometimes not quite as good, but never bad.  As others have mentioned, the Piecora salad is huge and includes green peppers, olives, tomatoes, Canadian bacon, salami, artichoke hearts, and mozzarella - a nice meal in itself.

They offer a decent selection of beer and so-so list of wine, all at very reasonable prices.  The place has a very casual feel and the staff has always been friendly and prompt when I've visited, but then I've never been there when it has been busy either.

Damn these are some big pies!

When I was struggling to fit the huge box into my car I was reminded of the many times I have fought to fit a flat packed box of Ikea furniture in my car. This should have been foreshadowing to the quality of pizza I was about to eat.

Basically, there was nothing to complain about, but there was nothing to Yelp about either. And, just like Ikea furniture it will do if you simply can't be bothered to find something better, but you know as a responsible adult you should be getting on Yelp mobile, finding a better pizza place, and for the love of all that is aesthetically pleasing get yourself a proper couch.

The pizza is good.  Other people have touched on that.  It doesn't reheat all that well, but whatever, it's better fresh anyway.  But if I'm not writing about a pizza place's pizza, what am I doing here? To recommend the salad.

Try the Piecora's Special salad.  It's got lettuce, olives, cheese, green bell pepper, artichoke hearts, but what makes this salad great is the salami.  Oh man, it's so good.  So very very good.  I still order just the pizza on occasion, but when I've got the time, it's all about the pizza salad combo.  Beware, even the half-salad is huge, so you can save it for lunch (or share with someone else if you're inclined).  Try it out.

Let me first say that I LOVE the pizza.

But what's the deal with the back door being kickstopped open in the dead of winter while life-threatening draughts chill even the toughest of patrons?

Sometimes we get our slices within 15 minutes, and other times we have waited almost an hour. This is difficult when other people all around you are chowing down on the mouth-watering wedges of gooey goodness. Sometimes I just want to walk over and smoosh my hand right in the middle of their pie and then say, "Oh, sorry. Damn this physical Tourette's. I'll just eat this one and buy you guys another one." But I haven't yet.

I adore the cannolis (best I've had in town, big and fat with no chocolate chips in the ricotta) but it's impossible to get one. One of the servers always sneaks over and plants the check right when you are in the middle of a bite and then runs off before you can stop him. I guess it's not a dessert (or refill, or service) place. And why aren't there any female servers? A service staff all of one sex or the other always creeps me out. They are all pretty hot, though. I mean, if we're going to be sexist.

Good points: It's pretty cheap. The pizza rocks. The place has the feel of what Cheers would be like if it was a pizza place. The servers, though casual, are friendly. It's very "Seattle". I like going there, and I crave it often.

EDIT: Went back and had a female server. Hmm! That could only mean one of two things...either they read my review and instituted some non-sexist hiring policies, or I was totally mistaken. I wonder!

Best pizza in Seattle. We used to be regulars there and were treated with great service whether the staff realized it or not. Minus 1 star for not having later hours/equally as good pizza when delivered.

Maybe it was overhyped, or maybe it just didnt have enough sauce for my taste....but Piecoras just didnt do it for me. Its not that I know what "real" NYC style pizza should taste like, so I judge pizza but what I like: crispy crust, sweet heavy tdose of sauce, and a healthy but not heaping amount of cheese. Piecoras doesnt have the first two, but does have a heaping amount of cheese....so yah. I mean I ate it, and it was enjoyable becuase it was pizza, but nothing to get your panties all bunched up about.

Succinct points:
plentiful toppings
wide variety of toppings
thicker-crust (may be a pro or con, depending)
pub-atmosphere, laid back Capitol Hill crowd

Ok, I was torn between 3 or 4 stars, and it really depends on how you like your pizza, thick or thin crust.  If I could, I would have given them 3.5 stars.  The pizza crust is crispy, the toppings plentiful.  Too many meat toppings tend to be too salty for my taste.  Overall, their pies are consistently better than average, but not the best I've had.  Prices are about average, $17-18 for a large pizza.
