When I first walked in to Pie Hole I wanted to laugh out loud, the decoration looks a lot like a college boys dorm room. However, there was an unbeatable selection of slices, including two rotating specials.
I love having variety, and I love having something on the menu that looks too weird to taste good- today's had penne pasta on it. The pizza was awesome, the crust was thin and super flavorful. I'll definitely go back, it's good to know there's tasty food options late at night.
If I COULD change one thing about this place is they won't serve you a cup of water?? Instead they'll point you to a drinking fountain around the corner. At two dollars a slice I can't kick up too much of a fuss, but I'll be getting my pizza's to go from here on out.

Funky atmosphere and a good location but a mediocre pie.  I walk the extra blocks to hit Guido's on 5th.

Per Taylor's request, I needed to update my review to 5 stars because of their wings. Order the new wings with the hottest sauce if you're brave! We went back EVEN DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS because the wings were so good! Don't change the sauce Pie Hole!!!! We love it!

There is nothing better than Pie Hole at 3 am after the bars have closed and you need something to ensure you can make it home in the cab without throwing up. I love the potato bacon and whatever the daily special is.

I have actually had their pizza sober as well. While it isn't nearly as good as I remembered it to be the previous nights, it is still a good New York style pizza with a little bit of Idaho in their topping choices (i.e. potato-bacon). I still wouldn't rate them above guidos, flying pie, or the front door for pizza quality but for a decent slice for the right price they are a good bet!

This place is fabulous.  Is it the best pizza I've ever had in my life?  No.  That being said, I was behind a car this afternoon that had a Pie Hole bumper sticker and my mouth started watering...it took all my resolve not to motor downtown for a slice.  So, though not the best, pretty damn good.

They offer pizza by the slice, as others have mentioned--and their prices are incredible (between 1.85-2.34/slice, depending on what you order).  The slices are ample triangles in the classic New York style.  Their crust is fold over soft and beautifully thin.  Their sauce is decent, though not necessarily memorable.   The variety is good, as someone mentioned they offer four different types on a daily basis (my fav being the roasted red pepper and basil--serious yum-yum--plus can't go wrong with the classic pepperoni) and then two random slices of the day.

Other notes:    They offer beer but no wine (bummer).   And, I don't know what their hours are...but open seriously late--like are they ever closed?  The service is remarkably fast, so if you are tight on time, no worries--they'll get you in, out and well fed.  Also, this is not a place you go to for atmosphere...more of a hole in the wall type joint, though the people watching is pretty magnificent if you sit outside.  But, delightful ambiance?  Not so much.  Serious grubbage?  Absofreakinglutely!

Pizza-by-the-slice in the dead center of downtown.  Never had a complaint about their pizzas, all very good.  Trying to pay and get out at lunch rush can be a bit unpleasant, so show up a few minutes early or a few minutes late.

I visit Boise a couple times a year and after a long night out at the bars, we always end up at Pie Hole. It's a no frills pizza joint that serves serious slices of pizza. I've always had a good meal there and appreciate the hard work of the employees for making sure my pizza is warm and fresh!

They've got a nice variety of pizza, the vibe is fun and hippie cool and the place is open super late.  It's nice that you can get it by the slice and the people in there seem to be a lot of fun (including the staff).  They have high school lockers in the back of the place, decorated with stickers and some paint and there's also a big arcade video game (sorry, I don't know the name) to help you pass the time while your pizza is heated.  The pizza is definitely not amazing though, and mine got a little burned at the edges.  The crust was super crunchy and sort of inedible, but the flavor on my spinach, feta, sun-dried tomato slice was very delicious, so that's important.  I'd go again...and I bet if it was after a long night, the pizza would have tasted even better.

Tasty pizza (at least when you're shit-faced) in a little hole in the wall perfectly situated amongst all the downtown bars. We stopped in several times to fuel up between bars. Don't remember the prices but I think it was fairly cheap.

It's after 2 a.m. and you've been partying all night.  You're hungry as hell.  If you're feeling like pizza, this is the place.  The Pie Hole was a definite savior on many tipsy nights to help me sober up.  They serve huge slices of New York style pizza for a couple bucks.  Can't beat that.

Oh god yes. Good pizza, tiny hole in the wall place. It's a perfect match. Love them to death!
