Picture People

I took my 15 month old here for holiday pictures. Photography studios hardly exist anymore. I had called around to several photographers in DFW but none of them had indoor studios so we came here.

Picture People is located in Buy Buy Baby. You have to make a $20 deposit to reserve an appointment.

The photographer was very nice and took fantastic photos of my baby even though he was cranky at first. Overall we got 15 good shots. It's amazing what they can do with a green screen and a few props. My favorite picture is the one with Santa. That's right, you don't have to take your kid to the cootie filled mall to sit on a stranger's lap to get a picture with Mr. Claus! They can create a picture with a Santa! And I really appreciated that the Santa was black! I don't know the odds of finding a black mall Santa. I assume they also have all the other race Santas covered too, but I was so over the moon excited and didn't ask.

Other pictures included a Christmas tree and milk and cookies. The pictures are crisp and clear. I can't wait to come back for more special occasion photos.

So far so good... I called to schedule a same day appointment, spoke to Jay and he was awesome! Professional, friendly and was able to answer all of my questions. I'll definitely update my review after my appointment.

A bit late in the game here but believe me, well worth the wait! Lol

First time at a Picture People and I was definitely not disappointed. Jay did a great job and kinda let me go with my own flow.

I needed business headshots for a new marketing campaign I was promoting my business and it turned out great! Jay was very helpful with background suggestions and even with my outfit(s).

I was in town visiting a friend and I was a bit pressed for time, but it all worked out great! Thank you Picture People, and thank you Jay for the professionalism and great pics!

As always the Picture People studios create amazing pictures. I love coming to all their studios and the staff is very professional and knowledgeable.

Jay and Max are great photographers and are very patient with my children. I love the frames especially their duet and trilogy and their USBs are very reasonably priced.

I would like to tell you about an incident I had with Picture People of Hurst TX. I called to make an appointment using a Groupon I had.
The sitting was for my dog and I. My dog not only has her therapy licences for senior centers, churches, etc, but she is also my Emotional Support dog for my OCD.
We were blatantly turned down. We were told regardless of the licensing or reason we couldn't come in. The manager Brittany seemed nice, but we were pretty humiliated.

They did an excellent job with my daughter's 1st Birthday pictures!! I love the photos and it is sooo nice that you get the pictures and frames right then and there. We waited only 45 minutes to get all our photos and picture frames after the pictures were picked out. So convenient!!

I went there to get a good photo of my little family with a toddler and infant. I do hobby photography myself so I have tons of good pictures of the kids, but none of my husband and I with the kids. Because you can't make a baby look at camera and smile without something to draw the eye. So the only reason I went here was to get that photo with someone getting the kids attention and making them smile. Nope the photographer took great photos but he did not even try to get the kids attention or to make the baby the smile. Out of the session there was only 1 family portrait where the baby was smiling and that was because someone else got her attention behind him. The photos themselves were good, but the lack of effort to get the kids smiling at the camera was disappointing since that was my main purpose of the shoot. If you aren't going to be in the photo and are able to get your kid's attention then by all means go here, but if you are looking for a photographer that will do the whole song and dance (literally) than you may want to look else where.

I had to put a new review because of such a great experience I had. I never thought the manager of the store in Plano would call and asked me about my experience and told me she could do another shoot for free but at the Fort Worth location, and today we had the shoot and it was awesome. Alicia was sooo good and professional you can tell right away she knew what she was doing. The difference on the first shoot( that was taken in hurst ) and this shoot in Fort Worth .....was huge, you can see my son looking at the camera in every picture and he was always smiling. I love this pics I will be coming back for sure and I'll ask for Alicia ( sorry if I am spelling her name wrong) thanks so much for the great photos.
