I'm a sucker for the blue-green theme going on here, so I've always wanted to step in a see what it's like inside. I had a laser session here, and the staff is so helpful. They go through all the procedures and give you time to ask questions.
They've also got the best service imaginable. The other day I had a scheduled appointment that I was all set to make, when all sorts of problems arose at the office and I found myself still sitting in Burnaby 10 minutes away from my appointment time. I frantically called them up between email typing to apologize profusely, but they were so nice about it and let me move my meeting to the next week without fuss. Now that's service!!
Results have also been great! So great, in fact, I think this will be my go-to spot! Once I've used up all the other groupons I have, I've decided to make this my regular home for laser treatments.
Also, I'm a sucker for cucumber water. I know, it's just a cucumber in water, and yet I'm too lazy to make it at home - what gives? -

Bought their Groupon, $47 for 60 min massage. Spa itself is very clean, organized, and appealing. The only thing that bugged me was the fact that the changeroom (with steamroom) is down the hall from the actual spa. I have to walk out of the changeroom and down the hallway, in my robe back to the spa itself and felt a little awkward. It doesn't help when there's other hotel guests waiting for the elevator. Also, their changeroom is shared with the hotel facilities/pool.
They put your name on your locker before you arrive, which I thought was very cute and thoughtful touch. They do need to clean up the changeroom more often, there were used towels left in the steamroom, Also the towels on the floor used as mats needs to be changed too. There were no hairdryers and irons so you have to go back to the spa to ask for it.
My massage was very good, almost fell asleep. I think her name was Alissa? Would go back if I'm in the area, but not somewhere I would make a special trip out to, like spa utopia or willow stream spa. -

Margot J. Leviton is a very skilled Registered
Massage Therapist who works at pHresh Spa and Wellness Club. Margot uses a variety of modalities including Myofascial Release and Craniosacral therapy to help assist your body to heal and re-align. I have found the effects of her massage therapy amazing- I am surprised at the results and the lasting impact of the treatments- I would definitely recommend her!

Went for my birthday and had a great time. Thanks to you guys yelpers!
Had the West End Special; the staff are helpful and take the time to explain everything to you and have you ask any questions. Not pushy on sales.
Fairly average prices. If there is loud traffic outside you can definitely hear it (takes away from the zen a bit), other than that.. what a great escape.
I recommend popping into the steamroom if you've got some time. -

I went to Phresh Spa for a series of three laser hair removal treatments (underarms). The atmosphere was okay, although the chairs in the lounge were stained. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating, and the technicians were quick and efficient.
The first and third hair removal treatments seemed ineffective, but the second one really made a difference. I don't have a lot of hair under my arms to begin with, but I will definitely need a couple more treatments to be completely hair-free.
Nothing really stood out to make me want to return, but if there was another coupon for a service I wanted I might go back. -

Did you hear? pHresh is back in action! For the better part of the last couple of years, pHresh was turned into a Hummingbird Spa. I never went for pure protest. I loved pHresh!
I had an infrared sauna and a massage - both heavenly.
The decor and atmosphere can't be beat. Ultra modern and well, fresh! If you can, check out their outdoor pool - in the summer, they do outdoor cabana massages. -

I was there about a month ago, l was very surprised the place is not as consistance as they use to be... l've been there about 10 times, is not very comfy anymore, they use to take you to the bathroom and give you a bathrobe and a key for your stuff, offer you a drink, bla bla... the past 2 times l went there didn't do that, also they use to give you a foot bath, not the past 2 times tho... the place is still nice and the staff as well..

Yesterday, me and mu hubby took advantage of long ago purchased Groupon for couples. What a great experience! They went all the way to make us feel comfortable. Massage was excellent. Facilities are clean and inviting. They have some issues with the shower, as mentioned on their wall, but it was ok when we were using it. They also have their own free parking - important for this area. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would consider going there again myself. Thanks Ph-girls!

I feel horrible writing a bad review for this place, but I left more stressed out than anything after my pedicure this evening! The spa itself is actually nice but the service wasn't very good. I originally was booked in for a deluxe pedicure but I was only given the basic and then they tried to charge me for a deluxe anyways?! I really thought getting a pedicure at a spa would be a relaxing experience but I found it to be awkward for the most part. The lady who did my pedicure was nice enough but she was in her 50's and I felt guilty having somebody my mothers age taking care of my feet, I felt like I should be doing her toes! The private room I was in was small and made me feel claustrophobic, it also had quite a few large scary looking gadgets for laser-ing and poking at your body with -kind of did a number on the atmosphere. With no music or anything in the room it was just an awkward 45 minute silence except for when the woman started pointing at this wart I have on my foot (HOW EMBARRASSING!) She actually held my foot up to the light and told me to get it looked at because she know somebody who had to have a whole chunk of their foot removed because of a wart! The whole pedicure was very rushed and at the end when she put my sandals on she smudged my pedicure and then told me i must have done it myself with my own pants! after she touched up my toe she then suggested I put a top coat on myself when I get home.
