So you need a photographer? Well, search over, you've found her.
Emily is, quite simply, the best. I'm fortunate enough to have known Emily for a few years and and have seen dozens of examples of her work. She is a natural with a camera and, more importantly, she has the gift if drawing out the right pose/stance/smile/reaction from her clients to get that perfect shot. I have never had a need for her services professionally but every client that I have met (and I've met a few) has had nothing but good things to say about her.

Emily is the best!! We had a family photo shoot at Baker's Beach and it was a lot of fun. Our family has 21 people in it which includes 8 children all under the age of 8. As you know, children can sometimes be very difficult when it comes to picture taking. Emily's fun and energetic personality kept all the children drawn to her. She even sang lullabys and children songs to keep their attention on her. In the end, we got some fantastic shots of everyone int he family. I can't wait to frame them.
I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a photographer. Thanks Emily!!

Emily photographed me wedding in June and couldn't have done a better job. She was seemingly everywhere at once capturing the day's special moments as if she saw the future before it happened!
And as an astute art student, I can honestly say her keen sense of style and brilliant use of technique separates her from the ranks of average photographers out there!
Emily took incredibly beautiful pictures of my family. She was patient, creative and so helpful in ordering pictures. A great experience!

If there was a sixth star to be given on Yelp, EP Images (Photography by Emily Payne) should get the first one.
My family (me, wife, poodle) recently had a family portrait done by Emily and we couldn't be happier. I'm not much for having my picture taken (a guy thing maybe?), but Emily but all of us *completely* at ease and had a level of enthusiasm and professionalism for her work that other people can only wish for. To top it off, she even took some *fantastic* pictures of our ultra-camera-shy pooch (ever tried to get a dog to look into a camera? 99.97375% of the population can't to it , but Emily sure can).
The photos are top-quality, and it was a great overall experience. If you're looking to get your photos done right, forget everyone else and give Emily a call.

I fucking love Emily.
First of all, she is one of the cutest gals on the planet. Secondly, she has a TON of energy and oh yes...she is a kick ass photographer.
I spent about 3 hours in her studio today with two red hot Burlesque performers: Bombshell Betty: http://bombshellbetty.net & Sweet Cheeks (the cutest Burlesque dancer in the Universe): http://www.myspace.com....
We went through about 4 costume (lingerie) changes each and an entire series of sexalicious and *oopsie you caught me* type Pin-up poses.
Emily was a fantastic and charming photographer. While these two lovely ladies are professionals, I needed some serious direction!
E: Point your toes Alice. Uh, don't forget to point your toes Alice. Look up Alice, yes so cute!
I'm not sure who was more excited about all the photos, Emily or me. It was a really fun experience!

If you need photo's taken for any occasion, Emily is the one. I had seen some of her work due to the fact I am friends with her boyfriend. My girlfriend was getting ready to graduate from Stanford. Her graduating class needed a photographer. After checking out her work, my girlfriend's class decided to choose Emily. I observed Emily being her friendly self and capturing the big day for many different types of people including family, friends, and children. She was able to capture a very important time in all of our lives. To make a long story short. She was asked to return by the graduating class that followed. Emily is a very talented photographer and a wonderful person. She did an amazing job!

My husband and I had the most amazing holiday picture taken with Emily. We look HOT! It is now framed in our living room and has been given to our immediate family, as our holiday gift. Emily is the most engaging photographer I've ever experienced. She makes you feel like you're having the *time of your life.* She just exudes delightfulness, sweetness, and just pure joy with the work she obviously enjoys with all her heart and soul. Jimi, her partner, is awesom too and takes directions willingly.
Now, go get some pictures of yourself! Oh, and get some pictures of your animals while you're at it. I thought Nadine, our toy poodle, looked better than we did--and we look HOT.

We went to Emily for our family pictures, not always a fun experience, however Emily had fun with the kids and kept them interested. She was fun to work with and kept our whole family engaged during our session with her. She took her time with us and we never felt rushed the way other photographers had made us feel. Pictures turned out great! She came up with interesting and creative way to pose us that looked great on paper. Those 10 pounds the camera puts on Emily had a way of posing me to takes them right off. Will be happy to Use Ms. Payne for all our future picture needs.

We went to Emily for my pregnancy and family photo's. Emily was wonderful with my children and kept them interested in what was going on. My pregnancy pictures came out wonderful. So many people told me I should send them in the a pregnancy magazine. The poses felt awkward but, boy did I look great.
We will definitely return to have Emily do our photos of our new growing family.

Another 5 stars for Emily.
I attended an event that Emily shot - and was able to access all the pictures the next day on her site. I ordered them and was able to pick them up very quickly.
Emily is fun, energetic, knowledgeable, and most importantly - takes great shots.
She will definitely be my photographer of choice for future events.
