I too love the place, the only reason to why they dont get 5 Stars from me is that they have both the "Plushy monster, Ugglydoll" and the "Kitty bowl" in their window.
The reason this is bad is that my Daughter cant pass without saying
- "Kitttttyyy Booooowl!!!! Pappa pappa pappa kITTY... wROAWr Momfter"
SO now im gonna have to spend $100+ on a Bowl and a Stuffed monster, Thanks!! (joking, they are cool and there is other stuff I myself want.)
The store itself is a very "non-midwest" design store, crammed with cool stuff. You walk in and think you just strolled into a Botique on E 85th Street in NY. Very friendly and helpful staff and great selection.
Of course the only real drawback is the prize-level, but as they say "style dont come cheap". Allmost everything in the place is cool and there are so many "that would look so cool on/in my (inset place in apartment)" items its insain.
Go look, but bring you wallet (dads credit card) and be prepared to spend some if you want somehting. Although there are some pretty cool stuff for just a few bucks too.
If you appreciate modern/minimalist design and live in Springfield then you must go to this store! There is nothing like it in the area. Sure, the stuff they sell is generally expensive but you pay for quality and better designed products. If you want to look like everyone else, go to the normal stores and buy your furniture/knick-knacks. If you want something special, then drop by Phorm! It's a unique store that is selling unique products that are otherwise ignored in the Springfield/Southwest Missouri area.
One of the coolest places in town for modern furniture, bedding, accessories, jewelry - everything! They feature lines such as Alessi, Dwell, Fat Boy, and more I can't remember. Everything about Phorm is cool. No matter what your age or style, you're bound to find something unusual and hip at Phorm!
