Review from Statia M.
Royersford, PA
I try to take my kids to story time on occasion. I can't say that I achieve that goal, but I do try. Since I can essentially walk (a long walk, but still within walking distance, nonetheless) to the Royersford library, I usually go there. But someone told me that the Phoenixville library had a room full of toys.
Why the hell did no one tell me this when my son was younger, and in his run around for endless hours on end, stage? I went with a friend of mine for their playtime hour and it was totally awesome. Seriously. It's like a free Gymboree class, except it's a room full of toys, a story and free play, with songs and all that jazz. And honestly, I've paid big money to attend Gymboree classes. Not that I feel like I wasted money, but this is a nice option for those that can't afford the high price tag that is Gymboree.
The Phoenixville library is such a great library and great resource for moms who need to get out of the house and meet other moms. I will warn you, it's VERY packed, but there's so many toys and so much to do, it doesn't really matter.
Also, parking is at a premium, as they only have street parking. So get there a little early to find a spot.
