I have to give Phoenix Craigslist 5 stars. (Much like I'd give Myspace 5 - my own personal secret!) Sure, other cities, like SF and Boston, have a larger user-based that post some pretty outrageously funny things, like the Best Of lists. Phoenix does have its users that posts services for payment of roses and kisses. My dad always gets a kick out of reading those.

I never knew Craigslist had an area in which to post personals - people seeking "something." My best bud posted on her city's site and found her geek. Quite amazing!

I've sold tickets on Craigslists. I've scoured for jobs and freelance gigs. I haven't spent alot of time perusing the site, but the thought has crossed my mind. I'm sure it makes for one great distraction from work.

Oh, and I've met people this way, too. Taking my friend's lead, I posted my own personal when I moved to Phoenix - since I was looking to meet new friends and explore my new Valley home. Thanks to Craigslist, I have met some pretty fantastic people.

Oh, Craigslist.

Craigslist is great for all kinds of weird stuff. You can sell your old Pinto, buy a fake statue, give away some dirt, apply for that CSR job you've always wanted, find that woman you've been dreaming of, join an atheist talk thread, swap houses with someone, or find yourself an erotic service!
