This place is amazing! The BBQ is one of the best I've ever had and the sides (coleslaw, potato salad) are the perfect compliments; light, crispy, and super, super yummy. The onion rings are amazing! They are so sweet and come in huge portions. My only regret was that I was not hungry enough to finish it all, and so I bought it home only to find it devoured before I could get my leftovers. Doesn't matter; I will be back next time I'm in San Diego!

Yes, the line can look long, but it flows by relatively fast. They are extremely efficient as it is. Service is outstanding too!

Good BBQ!!!!  I usually order beefy ribs dinner (3 bones and fries).  Don't be fooled by the long line.  They have a good system that makes the wait shorter but if you think you're impatient, you can always order for pick up.

Beware that It's nearby San Diego Sports Arena so if there's an event, you will definitely hit traffic.

THIS TIME, THE LINE WAS OUT THE DOOR AND AROUND THE CORNER ON A SUNDAY NIGHT! PLEASE READ MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. I've gone back 4 times since then but forgot to review it.

Pros:
-Same great comments as below. As always, they have a great and friendly staff.
-Ordered their ribs with sauce on the side, sooooo much better!
-Had the, pulled pork sandwich... PACKED with meat and topped with coleslaw. Great smokey flavor.
-Also the the El Toro (tri-tip sandwich). The meat is thinly sliced, almost like deli meat. The flavor or aroma was to DIE for! When the sandwiches came to the table, everyone around me couldn't stop looking! Even after they got up, they said, "LOOK AT ALL THAT MEAT"!
-BTW, their teas are yummy!
-The line is long but it moves quick.

Cons:
-Pulled pork was very much on the dry side! Sadly, I was expecting a little better.  It was so dry, it was almost like shredded jerky.
-Still not very fond of the honey-cinnamon bbq sauce flavor but it's good on the side.

Overrated. When I say this place is overrated, I mean way too many people rated this place already. So why should I even bother? Even my mom likes it there. No really.

The night we ate there it was my brother's b-day so we had a big group. The line was pretty efficient and since we had a big group we already had a table waiting for us. There are menus posted everywhere so it's easy to make a decision by the time you get to the cashier. Customer service was pretty decent considering the cashier seemed hopped up on Starbucks or on crack. Our waitress was fast and very helpful, but it's not like we needed one since we had to get our own damn food and our own drinks. They pretty much clear the tables and get people their doggy bags.

The food is nothing amazing but it didn't suck. The sauce is good, but I feel like I could have concocted the same stuff at home. The food came out in like 5 minutes. If you're an average person ordering ribs, I've been told the 3-piece beef rib dinner is sufficient enough to satisfy the average person. But since I'm a beast and I was hungry, I ordered the 5-piece. Good stuff.

The atmosphere had that sleazy biker bar feel without the stripper poles and that feeling that I was going to get my @ss kicked. There were numerous flat-screen TV's showing whatever game was on for all you sports fans and a bar to solve life's problems...The prices were fair enough. It's a great place to have a bromantic evening or time with family.

I love Phil's!

In a calorie-free world, I'd order a large batch of onion rings with their buttermilk dressing and that's it... heavenly lightly battered rings of onion goodness!  I have yet to find onion rings that I enjoy more than Phil's.  Instead I opt to satisfy my onion ring cravings with about 2 onion rings and some form of their rockin' BBQ.  Baby Back ribs, chicken, or the Broham.

Now, here's the SECRET:  phone ahead to place your order for pick up to avoid waiting in that inevitable, pesky line that streams out around the front (and often side) of their building.

Oh, and the double secret is to go through the side entrance of the bar so you don't have to say "excuse me" a million times to reach the phone line on the left.  I really hate the feel of angry eyes who wonder why you're trying to cut in line.  It's like you need a t-shirt that says, "Please move aside folks-I placed a phone order and I'm sorry that you didn't and you've been standing in line for an hour."  :)

I was totally underwhelmed when they were at their old location, but their service seems to have picked up since they moved to their new location.

Food is ok.  It's probably one of the better places in town for BBQ, but that's not saying much.  I like their rib tickler dinner, or whatever it is you get with the two ribs, onion rings, slaw and french fries.  It's just the right size.  The chicken always seems dry, but the ribs are good.  The pulled pork sandwich is pretty good too.

I was totally impressed with the efficiency of their to-go system.  Calling ahead is the best way to go, but if you walk in, you don't have that long of a wait.  I had been braced for a super long wait the one time we walked in without calling ahead, but it only took about 20mins to get our order ready.  They are super organized and totally have it together in that respect.

If you're EVER in San Diego visiting from somewhere else - you HAVE to eat here. I lived in San Diego for 4 years and I'm very sad that I did not discover PHil's BBQ the moment I moved there. PHils' BBQ is DELICIOUS and SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD

prices are completely fair and reasonable

service is excellent

Food is DELICIOUSSSSSSSSSSS and mouth watering and so yummy

the only thing that is a slight negative is that there is always a hellllllllllla long wait.

EAT AT PHIL'S! IT"S SO GOOOOD

Seeing the long line outside was a bit reassuring, but almost turned me away. Almost, because who wants to wait in line forever when you're hungry? But I am glad that I stuck it out. Despite its length, the wait wasn't even bad at all.

This place was not what I expected at all. I didn't expect to go up to pay and pick up my order, but I can see how that makes things so much faster. People are in and out of there with good turn over times.

I ordered the Baby Back Rib Tickler, which comes with 3 ribs, slaw, fries, and two onion rings. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to substitute (which does make sense if they are going for speed, I suppose), as I am not that big of a fan of cole slaw, but when I got my food, I was no longer disappointed.

The problem with braces is that it makes eating certain foods rather difficult. Stuff gets all stuck in them and getting the food out is such a hassle. This place did not give me that problem at all. The meat just falls off the bone, so I could just easily get it off with a fork and knife to cut into braces-friendly portions.

Seriously delicious food, and what a great deal. The fries were heaping and really good with the cajun seasoning at the table. They sort of remind me of thicker cut In-N-Out fries in texture. I really liked the cole slaw, which is saying a lot because I don't normally like it. The onion rings were crunchy and oily deliciousness.

I would give this place 4.5 stars, rounded up. I just wish I could substitute! I've been searching for a good barbecue place and am rather bummed that I would have to come so far to get it, but if I'm ever back in town, I want to come back for sure!

Once is too much.  Never again!

I am late in writing this review, but I guess it'll be like the titanic in ghostbusters 2 - better late than never.

When I first moved to SD a few years ago, I asked where I could get some good BBQ.  Everyone I talked to said to go to Phil's.  One day at lunch I took to trip down there and had lunch.  The food was ok and I would have gone back, but what did me in was right after my meal.

I went to the bathroom to wash my hands as they were all sticky.  Getting your hands dirty is required anytime you eat BBQ.  So I was at the sink washing my hands and there was an employee in there pissing at the urinal.  As I was washing up, he finished up, zipped up, and walked out.  I stood there dumbfounded.  Don't we have laws that require employees to wash their hands?  I mean this guy just got done handling his equipment and now he is going to handle someones food.

I don't know,,,maybe he used a sink elsewhere because I was at the sink in the bathroom, but damn from a customers point of view, he is one sick puppie.  All I can say is that I was in the bathroom for a minute tops and by the time I left he was back at the counter taking orders.

Not a good first impression and never again will I ever eat from Phil's.

This is more of a "dog pile" review. How much more can you add to a thousand positive comments?
Undisputed best in San Diego? I think so.

Pros
- BEEF RIBS (Why don't other places have this? )
- El Toro

Cons ( and what cost them a star)
- With success and delicious food comes the price of being insanely busy at times. Drive by on a weekend and the line goes around the building. Even during the off hours it's hard to find a free table.
Please open another location!

Mmmmmm.....love BBQ in November.

This place is hopping and the ribs certainly are delicious. Tender, fall off the bone. Wish they went easier on the sauce. Two racks, side of potato salad and sweet beans, just a great lunch.

Strange, you order in a line, pay and then they give you a pager. You scramble around to find some seats (which you hope isn't too soiled from the previous customers who munched down their food) and then giddily await the pager to go off. It buzzes and you send someone to grab the grub and chow down.

No fuss, no muss, just tasty BBQ food.

Now this place was Da Bomb too!! When we arrived the line was around the building but it moved fairly quickly. This was a full fledge restaurant and it was amazing to see so many people coming to this place, but you know what it was an awesome Beef Rib experience. Out of all the rib eating experiences this is by far tthe best Beef Rib experience ever. The meat basically came off the bone and the meat was so tender. This is the only thing I would recommend in the whole restaurant.

We did order baby back pork ribs but they were not as good as I was expecting, but they were still tender. We also ordered their onion rings and the onions were sweet but yet again they were not up to par from past experiences and the chicken well that was nothing as compared to the beef ribs.

Essentially this place is a self serve restaurant and it isn't a place to hang out after dinner because they have a line outside full of hungy patrons waiting to savor the meats.

One recommendation is to expand their bathrooms because one for a man and one for a woman isn't cutting it.

came here on saturday night with my bf, cousin, and her husband. The wait was about 20-25 mins on a rainy day. we were tired and wet from sea world so we just wanted to sit down and get our grub on. Most of the employees are pretty nice but there was this one server who told us to move from our original table because there were customers who had food with them already. That kind of ticked us off because we were getting our food. We moved about 3 more times until we actually got to sit down. I ordered the beef ribs and chickless with fries n beans n the ribs were HUGE with lots of meat! the chicken was a bit dry. fries were yummy and the beans were whatever since im not really a fan. I packed a lot of leftovers to go. Overall I would have gave this place a 4.5 if it wasnt for that rude server but oh wells it was good to see my cousin again~

Try Phil's tickler- its about $7 comes with 4 bones of baby back ribs, 2 large onion rings, coleslaw AND fries.  Yum, hits the spot when you are craving some good ol' BBQ  ;-)  If you want to avoid a HUGE headache, make sure that you phone in your order, otherwise, you may be in for a hefty wait.  Tastes just as good at home.

OK.  $20 for about 5 or 6 beef ribs and two sides.  BOMB ribs too.  I split this with my gf making it $10 apiece.  One of the best bbq you'll find anywhere... for an AWESOME price.  If you are in the SD area and you have not tried Phil's I suggest you do so, NOW!

Ever since they moved from their previous location, the quality is lacking a bit.  Don't get me wrong, the food is great but not what it use to be.  In San Diego, this might be the best place to get some BBQ at a fair price.  When I go here, I tend to order the baby-back pork ribs or "The Tickler".  Honestly, when I host guest from out of town; I tend to bring them here.  But be careful, if you get someone from Texas or somewhere mid-west.. They'll say this place taste "OK".  Born and raised San Diego, this BBQ is pretty good.  They give you a healthy servicing size so there's no way you can't be full.  WARNING! You may experience some food coma after eating here!

Tip: If you see an extremely long line out the door, phone it in real quick and go straight into the left line (much faster).

Pros: Price, location and great take-out ordering system

Cons: Too much sauce on everything (but you can request for it on the side).

I rarely give out 5 stars but Phil's deserves it!! The black hostess that works in the front is so funny and easy to talk to! The service is quick and the food is scrumptious. Mm Mm MMmmmm!! The ribs are finger-licking good. They seriously fall right off the bone!! Get the Baby Back Ribs because the Beef Ribs can be tough sometimes. You might have to wait in line to order but trust me, it's worth it. Best BBQ I've ever had. Hands down.

Not a hater of Phil's.. I know it's like, one of those places you HAVE to bring your visiting friends or any other tourists, but I think it's only aiiitee.
Prices are pretty reasonable for what you get, considering it is all meat. The thing is that the prices have dropped within the past year or so since they've changed the quality of the meat (it's no longer as slide-off-the-bone as before). I love that they slather sauce all over it... as some people may not be fans of that, but I am. But one thing I think they do amazingly well is the smokiness of the beefy ribs and pulled pork sandwich.
My complaints about the place are the insane lines on weekends, but they recently put a webcam on their website so you can check how long the line is before you leave... or you also have the option of placing a phone order before you get there so you don't have to wait in line.
Also, last time we came in a group of 15 for the boy's going away party. They were pretty good at accommodating such a large party, but the thing that sucked is that the food trickled out. The pagers for two of us never went off, even while everyone else got their food. We probably waited about 15 min (assuming that they were busy and were just working on cranking it out), but then when we finally went to ask about it, my friend's had been ready for nearly 20 min, but the pager was broken. As for mine, my order wasn't even showing up in the computer, and they asked to see my receipt. After all that trouble and long wait for us, the only thing that they said was "Sorry, here you go". I was a little disappointed, as it would've been nice if they'd even thrown in a side as a sorry, but I guess they don't roll that way here, which is fine too. Their good food makes up for it.
Other than that, if you're into consistently good barbeque, this is the place to go. Just make sure you're ready to wait!

"Bar- B Licious"

[First impression]
Where's the line?!

We beat it! As soon as we got there, the line started building up-- fast! But this place is huge and operates smoothly. The staffs are friendly and open doors for you. With so many great reviews and an extensive menu, it's so hard to choose. You really can't go wrong. It's nice to go with a group of people and have everyone get different things. That way you can share. The portions are plenty so not to worry about not having enough food.

[Suggestion]
*Onion rings are crisp to perfection!
*Have everyone choose different side dishes as well. From macaroni salad to fries to cole slaw-- there's no going wrong here.

[Tip(s)]
*Come just before the lunch hour to beat the line.

This is my go-to spot for barbeque. The portions are more than enough and then some. It can get pretty busy; the line can easily file right out the door. I don't like that you can't reserve seats before you order but seats usually become available as people order so it's not that much of a problem. The food always comes out in a timely fashion; faster than the time that the cashier usually gives you.

I hate that you have to pick and choose when you go so it won't be as busy as other times. It was definitely an ideal place to go for dinner on Halloween when everyone else was out partying and dressed up like a slutty whatever. There was a minimal-to-nonexistent line and seats were available throughout the night.

Despite the long wait, Phil's is always worth it! Come hungry and you will leave very happy... and with food coma.

This place has really good BBQ.  My boyfriend and I went here just this past week and we both had the el toro sandwich.  It was our first time ever and we kept changing our minds and adjusting our meals to our liking.  Did the person at the register care?!  No.  Apparently it was his first time working at the register and the manager was helping him out.  Both of them were really patient and changed our orders for us so that we got our "bang for the buck".

The portions here are HUGE.  The large fries is ridiculously large and my boyfriend and I couldn't finish it!  The sandwiches were overflowing with savory meat and I had to take some of the tri tip home.

The service was excellent.  The bussers that come around are very attentive to keeping the place looking clean and they always drop by with more napkins, hand wipes, and toothpicks.

Great food.  Great service.  What else can I ask for?

Oh, and don't forget to come early unless you want to be waiting in a ridiculously long line that wraps you around the building.

Crazy wait, great food.  Pork ribs were a bit burnt on the outside but that may be the style Phil is going for.  Importantly, the ribs were juicy and not overcooked.  To-go order sides seemed a bit small, and the beans left a bit to be desired.  Nothing that would keep me from coming back.

I think Yogi Berra says it best when describing this place, "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded." Seriously though, this place has a line that winds all the way down the block at any given meal time. So I went there for some dinner and all my friends told me how great the food was so I was super excited. They made it sounds like it was the king of barbecues on the entire planet (outside the South). Because of this, I figured I would hold them to a higher standard during my review process since they have such an established reputation to live up to. I also wanted to give an honest objective review and not just jump on the band wagon of, "well everybody likes it so I should too." That's called social conformity people! Don't fall for it!

So first off, there was the line, ugh! I'm starving! No problem, we'll just go to the bar and order from there. We get to the bar and sit at a booth and get a menu. Yea, we're clever.... NOT! Apparently you have to actually be sitting at the bar to order food. This was told to us like we were 6-year-old children and like we had already misbehaved or something. Ok, so now what? I lost my place in the super looooooong line. Ah ha! But I'm even more clever! I decided to call them and make a to-go order. Yes, people, this is what you have to do unless you want to wait forever. If you go into the bar and can't sit at the bar, call in, then go pay at the to-go line (super duper short) and then get a buzzer thing so you can go pick up your order when its ready.

I guess the only reason they didn't get 4 stars is the fact that it is soooo hyped but wasn't as amazing as the hype leads you to believe. And the crowds and chaos just makes it a very unpleasant dining experience. Especially when they have the place set up like a communist soup kitchen and the servers in the bar are so Gestapo about their rules. The food was great though. I got the Chickless and baby back ribs combo - FAB--U---LOUS! The sauce was a little too tangy but still pretty awesome. And the coleslaw tasted really good - not like the usual preservative-y tasting kind that seems to be served everywhere else in town. But if this place wasn't so crowded, I'd probably really like it and add a star or two to my review.

I'm not a big meat eater.. so it took me a few years after living in San Diego to try Phil's BBQ. Stood in line for over an hour and ran around the restaurant for a place to sit for another 15 min.

Yes the ribs are really good. The bbq sauce is delicious and thier onion rings are extra crunchy. this restaurant is obviously popular for a reason and definately one of the must go places in san diego.. but for the 1.5 hour wait and price? minus 1 star for me!

I've always wanted to be review #1040. Now is finally my chance!

Pork Ribs -- awesome. Half Rack (6-7 bones) with two small sides (beans and slaw) was the perfect amount for me, and I would say most people. = $12.95

They have beef ribs and chicken too, which I'm sure are excellent.

1 star off for not having corn bread. Say WHAT?! Also, I'm a fan of a spicier bbq sauce, but it is still so delicious. Lines can be long, but service is fast.

Come hungry!

Believe the hype.

This is surely the best BBQ in town, arguable best BBQ this side of I-35. Yes, if you come here during popular eating times, you will wait. A while. But you will be rewarded my friend with all the barbecuey goodness your little mind can handle. Strap in taste buds, things are about to real.

I am a fan of the quarter chicken and quarter rib combo with the steamed veggies, its the only way to get a good helping of meat and not walk away feeling like you just swallowed a volkswagen.

The best BBQ I've had! The ribs were tender and the sauce was perfect (just the right amount of sweetness, spicyness, and tang). I ordered the 'tickler' thinking it was going to be small, but the portions are very large. Their sides selection isn't very big, and they don't even have mashed potatoes or mac and cheese, but trust me, you won't miss it because the ribs are so good and it goes perfectly with the fries and coleslaw. Service is excellent. Don't be intimidated by the huge line....it goes surprisingly fast. Highly recommended. Great for groups/casual dining.

Pork Heaven! I LOVE Phil's. In fact, one of the few things that is memorable about the three years I lived in San Diego was Phil's. The pork ribs are show stoppers, and I would recommend just diving in and splurging on a full order of the ribs. The mouth watering meat is tender and falls right off the bone. It is slathered in spicy and sweet BBQ, and there is even some honey in there. I couldn't imagine a better set of ribs. They would convert even the most stubborn of vegans into a meat eater and become a true believer!

Equally delicious are the yummy fresh cut fries. I usually get a double order of that, since you get two side options with the full order. I don't particularly care for the other side accouterments, but some friends of mine like the beans. I, personally, do not care for them.

I would, however, recommend steering clear of the beef ribs. Honestly, there is nothing to write home about them. Too much bone, not enough meat, and fatty without all the delightful flavor the pork brings! Also, the line can be long, if ordering take away, make sure to call in advance. But any negatives are quickly swept away by it's powerhouse pork ribs.

Phil's is awesome!

Hey San Diego BBQ lovers, this is THE spot!

45 minute wait out the door on a Saturday night but it's worth it! I ordered "Best of Both" with half order of ribs and chicken. Love the tenderness, love the spicy barbecue sauce. There is also a full bar and sports section divided off from the restaurant. Friendly service all around and southern hospitality! Never disappointed when coming here.

Heads UP: CLOSED ON MONDAYS!! (Went on a Monday before and was HURT!)

my bf's dad has him drive for 2 hours each way to deliver the ribs whenever he gets a craving...so i had to check it out if they really are that good.

we encountered a 15 min wait at 7pm on a humpday.

not too bad since you can drool over the choices on the menus posted outside.  once inside, you can view the dishes on the tv screen.

i got the rib tickler with 2 onion rings, 3 small ribs, a load of fries, and a scoop of slaw.
the rings were slick from being deep fried - i recommend eating this first while it's hot and you won't have time to regret it.
as for the ribs: they were shorter than the ones in the regular order
+ 1 had barely any meat (end piece?), the other 2 were good and juicy.
the fries were addictive and the slaw was tasty.

i washed it down with some sangria - it was tasty but on the weak side so i'll ask for light on the ice next time or get a unlimited refill soda or beer instead.

my bf had the ribs with chicken and corn on the cob.  i traded most of my fries for the corn and slathered it with butter.   yum!

we were both pretty full by the end and packed the chicken in a box before hitting the theatres.

and the verdict?  yes, they really are that good!

Large plates, yummy ribs, and a cheap price. What else can you ask for?
I love Phil's BBQ even with the long wait. It's totally worth it! A must-go place while you are in SD!

Believe the hype, but be smart about it!

Yes, everyone says this place is amazing and it's the best around...blah blah blah...and they're right (as far as San Diego goes anyway).  The food is amazing (get the Bro-ham or the pork ribs) and the sides are great too.  The atmosphere can be a little crazy, but you have to be smart about the way you approach your dining experience here.  Allow me to explain:

This is arguably the best BBQ joint in a 200 mile or so radius, with about 5 Million people (or so) living in that area.  Logic would tell you that if you go around dinner time or at prime time on the weekends, you're going to have to wait.  And yes...the line can be HUGE, wrapped around the block.  So, if you MUST go there and sit down to eat (the atmosphere is OK, but nothing to go out of your way to experience) then go at an off time.  The food will be just as delicious and you'll walk right in with a wait of fewer than 5 minutes (most likely).

If you're like me and you have to get your fix from time to time, just call ahead and get your order to go.  Phil's is conveniently located just off the 5 and the 8 and you can scoop your delicious ribs (or whatever) and be out of there in less than 5 minutes.

So when you read reviews about how people hate the line, be smarter than they were.  The food is amazing, my preference being the pork ribs or the Bro-Ham sandwich (pulled pork BBQ).  The chicken is good too but not such a fan of Beef Ribs in general (from anywhere).  Try it and you will not be disappointed.

The wait on a Saturday night?

Close to an hour, it seemed.

Why is it every location I go to in San Diego had a prerequisite of a minimum of an hour long wait?!

With the insistence from my cousin, I waited...and waited...and waited.

To Phil's defense, the line did move rather quickly BUT because of my hungry stomach growling in retaliation, the wait seemed unbearable.  After what seemed like eternity, we finally arrived to the front of the line.

The set up was your basic cafeteria style restaurant.
1) You order + pay
2) You grab your designated pager
3) Pick a spot to grub
4) When your food is ready, your pager will ring!
5) EAT!!

Between my cousin and I, we got the "Full Baby Back Rib Dinner" + corn on cob + macaroni salad + side salad.

At first glance, the amount of food seemed inadequate for my cousin AKA garbage disposal and I, the food-eating savage.  Luckily, a waiter happened to stop by and we were able to order - on the spot - another (BIG) serving of macaroni salad.

I decided to be a good girl and filled myself up with fresh mixed greens before tackling the big and heavy items on my plate.  Damn, why did I do that?

The ribs were MIND BLOWING.

Soft, juicy, moist, fall-off-the-bone-can't-get-enough, flavorful and the list goes on.

The macaroni salad was bomblicious. It had the right amount of mayo and it complimented the sweet and tangy ribs perfectly. Add hot sauce into the equation and you just got yourself the best-darn-BBQ- that-got-your-lips-smackin-in-anticipation-for-you r-next-trip-out to-San-Diego-for-these-AMAZING-life-changing-ribs.

OK, I don't know about "life changing" but they were good. reallllly good.

I only wish they could set up shop in SF and add MAC & CHEESE to their menu!

Go early!  My girlfriend and I already had to line up outside 30 mins before it opened on a Sunday morning.

Every positive review I've read here is true. The pork ribs was the best!

I'm not even sure if this is a con but be prepared to leave smelling like smoked BBQ. :)

It was my second visit here with Phil's. It was a late evening on a Friday and wifey was having a craving for some BBQ food! Where else should we go? We allowed our stomachs to guide us here again.

For locals, the best time to come here to avoid the lines is very late. We strolled right in and anticipated on what to try this time around. I went for the pork ribs and 1/4 chicken combo with french fries and macaroni salad. Wifey went for the short ribs, but I knew she would be biting off my plate.

In addition, we couldn't resist not going with the onion rings. The buttermilk here is to die for. I'd swear if I was Michael Jackson and the doctor ran out of "milk of amnesia", then allow Dr. Phil here to inject with with that buttermilk. Hmmmmmmmmm...

Our service was excellent. Due to the fact there wasn't that many people around they were even super nice and answered our questions. We enjoyed the late night dinner and shared among our plates back and forth.

Just about when we were finishing up, one of the managers started passing out pulled pork samples. However this wasn't no sample. It was a plate of freshly cooked pork. Hot and steamy, we elected to take it home with us.

One of the employees asked if we needed TO GO containers. Please, we appreciate it. He commented that it was his idea to pass off these freebies of food since it breaks his heart on the amount of food that is wasted in the evening.

The fat: To avoid the rush, come here after the rush!

The skinny: Hang around in the wee hours...you may leave home with another snack!
