I don't buy much jewelry, but when I do, this is where I go.
When me and my then fiance were buying our bands, we wanted something special and unique and took a design to Philip's. They very promptly took our design, made a wax prototype for inspection, and then final molds for the rings to be made. My ring needed a special band because I've broken my fingers so many times, but they helped select a very sturdy expandable band that has worked flawlessly for almost 9 years now. And better yet, they gave us the molds incase we need to have the rings recast.
A few years later when I was looking for a Mother's pendant, I went back here to help picking stones and designs. They very patiently worked with me to get just the right one. And after my wife promptly lost it after a few years (she wore it playing hockey and it fell off on the ice, never recovered), they helped me have another one made, with a thicker chain.
Overall I can't complain at all. Very personal service before, during and after the sale. But don't expect to find "cheap" jewelery there. They only keep the high quality items on hand because they stand behind them.
