Well being a 15 year veteran of PISD I feel that I am qualified to discuss its benefits. Really, it is a good school district. I attended Palmer Lane, River Oaks, Westview middle School and Connally High School ( with one other elementary school thrown in, just for fourth graders that Ive forgotten the name of.)

When you look at the alternate, AISD, you can clearly see the pflugerville benefits. I attended a high school that was brand new and looked like a mall, and performed theater in a brand new two story performing arts center. We had money for various activities.. and while no one was really rich on our district, we really epitomized the middle middle class.

Although I have heard in past few years some of the schools have gotten rougher, I still stand firm that they are  much better choice. Look at the pflugerville school district for small class sizes, mostly decent teachers and strong extra curriculars.
