Some of the best appetizers I have ever had are at PF Changs.  I love the Seared Ahi, the lettuce wraps, and the calamari (best calamari i have ever tasted is at PF Changs....fyi).

if you just get a meal the price is ok, but if you want an appetizer, meal, drink, etc it can get pricy quick (kinda like ordering at a sushi bar).

Their desserts are fun.  You can get them in small yummy amounts in these silly little glasses or larger versions.

Anyway, I love this place for dates :) going there tonight with my man.

The waits can be long and the servers it can take a bit to get your food/drinks/bill when the place is busy.  You do want to pick a non-rush hour time/day.

I've been to six or eight PF Chang locations; but, this week was my first visit to this Colorado Springs location. Beautiful restaurant and an outstanding range of offerings, all done well; but the service on this visit made you long for somewhere else....anywhere else. ....Slow service; unresponsive & unconcerned.....it's amazing how fast poor service can knock a star off a restaurant's rating.  I still recommend the chain; but, be sure you have lots of time and patience before visiting this location.

P.F. Chang's Beef a LA Sichuan remains my favorite entrée. Some people challenge the very nature of a national brand of Chinese restaurants. I do not share this opinion. Joni and I eat dinner at P.F. Chang's about four times a year. The dining atmosphere at every P.F. Chang's Chinese Bistro is always casual. During our last visit, the order included two appetizers the Chang's Chicken in soothing lettuce wraps and the Harvest Spring Rolls. In addition to the appetizers, the order included two entrees the Chang's Spicy Chicken and the Beef a LA Sichuan.

We all know that P.F. Chang's isn't authentic Chinese food, never the less if you're interested in tasty, reasonably priced food, I don't think you can go wrong with P.F. Chang's.  For a chain restaurant the food is pretty  good.  The atmosphere is always pleasant, and the decor is beautiful.  I frequent P.F. Chang's at least 2-3 times a week.  I have never had a bad meal here, the food is always fresh, hot, and prepared just the way I like it.  The staff is always welcoming, they treat me and my family, like we are part of their family, whenever we order take out they know who we are, and pretty much know what we are going to order.  Whenever I dine in, the service is always fast, and the servers are always friendly.

The lettuce wraps are very delicious, though sometimes it seems like too much lettuce and not enough chicken for the inside of the lettuce.  I love the  pan fried shrimp dumplings, the flavors are awesome, but sometimes the chili pepper soy sauce is lacking in flavor.   The fried rice is always good, as is the crispy honey shrimp.  Another great dish is the hot fish, it has a wonderful flavor.

When it comes to dessert their Great Wall of Chocolate is AMAZING!  The cake is moist and tender, and the frosting is sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet.  Another good option for dessert are the new "Minis".  The "Minis" are a good choice if you want something light to satisfy your sweet tooth after a large meal; and for 2 bucks apiece you can't go wrong.  There are eight selections.  The Smore's and the Strawberry cheesecake are pretty good.

What's to say? it's PF Chang's. I went here with my best friend from Basic Training, another pal from BCT, and a couple of their pals.  Food was okay but I really liked the selection of minis.  I had the Red Velvet and it was about the tastiest Red Velvet I've had.

Reasons to go to PF Chang's include:

the steamed fish of the day
the atmosphere (good for dates-- *lots* of first dates going on here, also good for groups)
the mojitos (I had my first one here, and it's now my favorite drink)
the banana egg rolls
the location in the Briargate shopping area

Of course it's not authentic Chinese food.  But it's a decent place.  If you want similar quality food at cheaper prices, check out Pei Wei at Academy and Woodmen (hint: see my review).

PF Changs is utterly devoid of soul.  Mass produced Chinese food for people that prefer Americanized everything.  Might as well be at TGI Fridays. Blech!

Argueably the best Chinese Bistro in town, the food is superb and the atmosphere is wonderful as is the service. I went there with my wife and we were both very happy and very full afterwards. Plus with the briargate mall right there you can walk around and shop off those pounds you just gained.

The food is usually good, but it had better be for the price.  The best thing about this restaurant: it's the only place I know on the north end of town that doesn't roll up the sidewalk by 10 pm.  Downtown Colorado Springs is just getting going when most things up north are dark and locked.  PF Chang's is the one significant exception.  Otherwise, you can get more authentic food for less money at any number of Chinese restaurants.  Let's just say PF Changs is to Chinese food what Red Lobster is to seafood.  If you're a Red Lobster kind of person, then by all means, head to PF Changs.

The one in Scottsdale is better.  I don't know what it is, but it's just better.  I will give the one in the spring's credit for service.  It was excellent and very fast, I swear we got our lettuce wraps, ordered our entre's and 8 minutes later they were bringing the food.   The problem I had with them was the rice, and it wasn't just my table's rice.. I looked around and all the rice looked unappetizing.  Undercooked/Overcooked it just did not look like the rice was done correctly.  Who knows? Other then that the rest of the food was good.
