Asian pear mojito, chicken lettuce wraps, beef with broccoli, orange peel chicken, honey shrimp, garlic noodles, brown rice. . done.

If you come with a larger party, ask about getting a table with the lazy susan, because nothing says 'good times' like a lazy susan.

I also recommend the prix-fixe menu: only $39.95 for two and you get enough food to satisfy any appetite.  Delish!

Mall food: there are several options, mostly all crappy, especially if you don't like being treated like a sub human life form at Panera and also don't want to chill in the food court with teenyboppers and strollers.

PF Chang's it was! We were really hungry by the time we even decided on where to go for food so when we were told we had to wait for 40 minutes we were feeling a little sad, but still wanted to wait. My mom had taken a ton of vicodin for a tumor-related head ache and was quite high by the time our buzzer vibrated.

After waiting for an hour and a half on a Friday night, my mom and husband and I were seated, sent over free appetizers and given coupons for more free food at our next visit. My mom marvelled at the shape of the plates, worrying that it was just her who experienced them as not perfectly rounded, then went on a diatribe about not being able to "see" the straws we were given for our drinks. Through it all, our server remained friendly, poised and didn't laugh openly at my darling mother's lack of sobriety.

We were starving by nine pm when we were seated but overall quite thankful for the friendly service and delicious food.

They mix your "custom" sauce at the table and their food is far from greasy like I'm used to with most Chinese places. We ordered the "Spicy Chicken" which is their version of General Tao's and it was amazing! The chicken chunks were tender with no fatty pieces and the breading was really light and crispy so you felt like you were actually eating chicken and not breading flavored like chicken. We also got the beef with broccoli which could have had more sauce on it but the beef was tender and fresh and the broccoli was perfectly al dente. Finally my mom ordered the honey shrimp which was really good, but it was served on a pile of crunchy rice noodles and the noodles stuck to the shrimp pieces which was sort of annoying.

The cap on our wonderful dinner was the dessert, we order the banana "eggrolls" with coconut and pineapple ice cream. They were amazing and the only thing I can compare them to are the banana flautas at Broadway Grill. Yum!

I'll definitely be back, they're a little pricey and the waits are really long at dinner time on weekends, but for mall food, you can't really top this place.
P.S. My mom didn't drive herself home.

If you should find yourself at the front door of this fine establishment, remember to pivot 180 degrees and then run, don't walk, as far away as possible.  I can't believe I dropped $83 on a dinner for two that rivals all the four-table chinese food shacks on Hwy 99.

Didn't order any appetizer, ordered the sweet/sour chicken, almond/cashew chicken (total of four cashews), broccoli beef (now that dish was very, very well prepared), and pork lo-mein (noodles cooked about 75 minutes too long), plus two drinks.

The service was fine, not bad, not good, but how they keep their doors open at this location, charging quality steak prices for mostly average chinese food, I'll never know.  The irony is that we've been to the Chang's at Planet Hollywood a bunch of times at their food and drinks are head and shoulders above this one.  You would think that a chain would at least have a single set of standards.  Oh well, my fortune gave me the following advice:

"You will share joy in the future by not eating here again"

Relaxing atmosphere and nice open space, I liked the interior a lot.
However, the food was very... unreal.
It was my first time in my life to see
"Mapo tofu with DEEP FRIED TOFU with clear brown source."
Although I am not a Chinese person or Chinese food expert, it was not acceptable.
In addition, they are pretty costly for the quality of food.
Our bill (Side fried beans, 2meals and $2 dessert x2 and a glass of diet coke) was about $37+tips.

an additional star for a good selection of desserts....

My boyfriend and I had such a good experience tonight that I felt PF Chang's deserves a raise.

The crispy green beans drew me back. They're like green bean crack. You can't stop at one (which is good because they give you a whole plate full) and when you're done, you're forlorn because all the delicious veggies are gone. Yes, I said veggies. Okay they're fried veggies.

We did it again this time. We did the dinner for two and were happy with our choice. Again we got the egg drop soup, the crispy green beans, the effing delicious oolong tea (our waiter kept us nicely filled on the tea), I got the Mongolian beef again but this time my boyfriend got the Chang's spicy chicken.

If you've read any of my previous reviews, you'll see I like beef and I like it crispy and my Mongolian beef was just that. The Chang's spicy chicken was really really really good. It had a zesty bite and I really enjoyed it.

And you know, our waiter was great. He wasn't over attentive. He wasn't under attentive. He was friendly and personable. We tipped him decently.

We were going to watch a movie but our dinner was a longer dinner filled with entertainment (there was a party of drunk women who were funny). It did take awhile for our meal but the waiter set the pace just right to where it really didn't feel like the wait was daunting.

Again, it's Americanized Asian food. If you're looking for authentic you're barking up the wrong tree by coming here. Come here if you want a sit-down place and you want a little more fuss than a regular Chinese restaurant. Oh and really, get the oolong tea. Best I've ever had.

Tonight was a five star night. Since the last visit was a three, I'm averaging PF Chang's a four.

Nice, relaxing evening out post-Big-Climb headed this way thinking of catching a movie. A movie we both want to see but are a little 'eh' about after catching a few reviews and wondering if we're willing to risk our amazing streak of good movies with this one.

I bring up food. I didn't keep my breakfast long with the climb and haven't really eaten since.

A very quick, and knuckle-whitening, U-turn later. it was suggested we eat here. Yet another place I've never been, so add a few more 'de-virginization' points into the mix.

There was a 10 minute wait for a table, so we sat at the bar, thinking we'd wait there over a drink. Uhm, why wait for a table if you're over 21? You can order and eat at the bar. So we did.

Salt and Pepper calamari, egg drop soup, and lemon pepper shrimp were the selections of the evening. I had the ginger-peach tea.

With the use of the sauce and the salt/pepper dash, the calamari really isn't that good. I've had much better calamari at random dinner spots out w/ the Yelp-partner. But I did like it for what it was.

The egg drop soup was some of the better I've had around, but was kind of luke-warm. On a cold, lazy rainy night for dinner, it would have been nice to cuddle over a hot bowl of soup, the taste was there.

The lemon pepper shrimp was the stand out of the dinner for me. A little saucier than I had anticipated, but not drowning in it or anything. Very good flavors.

The tea was nice, but I was really hoping for a stronger ginger flavor than it had. It was a tad too much peach for my taste.

The bartender was nice and attentive-- when we had his attention--it was getting it that took a bit more effort than I think it should have. Since we didn't order any alcohol after all, it just felt like we were ignored a bit more than the rest of the bar patrons.

I liked the general ambiance, I'm glad we sat in the bar, I enjoyed the food and the slow, relaxing flow of the meal.

A definite personal highlight of the meal was hearing: " you can eat rice with chopsticks, I am seriously impressed" LOOK MA! I'M LESS WHITEY! =D

So I was the first to review this place years ago and gave it a glowing review - but  I've gotta say its been sliding downhill ever since my 1st trip.

The only thing that is basically consistant are the lettuce wraps, which is the only reason to visit these days.
Drinks are imaginative but lack BOOZE.  I've been a bartender and I'd be surprised if there was even a full shot in most of the cocktails.

IF I go again, i'll be having the lettuce wraps and straight shots.

Ugh. I don't know. Why do I even bother coming here?
I met up with friends for lunch, and we were tight on time and pretty hungry. After glancing over the menu, we had a couple of questions. It took at least 10 minutes to get the server's attention. After that, we didn't want to let him go, so we ordered. I went for the chicken lettuce wraps, because they are decent in Seattle location. The food took about 20 minutes to prepare and serve. The lettuce wraps were somewhat soggy and drenched in oil, which I never experienced before. My friend, on the other hand, was pretty happy with orange peel chicken she ordered.
After lunch we asked for a cup of coffee, which was server without cream and sugar, and the waiter was again tough to get a hold of.
I don't want to say never-ever, but if left to me, this was my last trip to PF Chang's.

I bought the office lunch once, and ordered alot of takeout from this location. I can't remember exactly how many dishes, but it was two large bags full of a v ariety of beef, chicken, pork, and vegetable dishes. We found that PF Chang's is basically a ridiculously overpriced Panda Express. I'd rather eat at the latter in a mall food court for much less coin, and it probably tastes better too. Don't waste your time here.

For good food come here, but for horrible service just forget it!

My family and I went to PF Changs in Alderwood Mall yesterday night. After having a delicious meal, my parents tried so hard to get the attention of the waiter to give us our bill.
Of course there was little success, and when my mom asked one of the waiters to hand us the bill, he gave a shrug and declared "I'M ON IT!"
Overall, We will still go there but will have low expectations on service.

There are many many restaurants out there serving similar choices and atmosphere.   However I have come here several times because of this location.  Out of the other mall food options, this is my preferance.  The hubster and I always hit the bar vs. waiting for a seat and it's just as easy to eat in the bar.  The servers are right there so if you find yourself in need it's just a quick shout out, although they take care of us quite well so this has not really been necessary.

So we sidle up and partake in good food and refreshments and are satisfied regularly.  I personally enjoy a glass of the LeCrema or Bonterra Chardonnay or if feeling sassy will have an Asian Pear Mojito.  I think our preferance on the menu is with the Starters to include the Lettuce Wraps, Dumplings and can't miss out on the Crispy Green Beans.  Maybe if we were going for a full meal, this review would be different but as far as a quick fix, I have to say I'm OK wih the Chang Chain.  Especially when considering the other options at Alderwood.

In a city with so many amazing asian restaurants, I fail to understand why people ever go to PF Chang. If you're forced to eat at the mall, I guess it's a decent choice, but seriously.. for what you get, you could go to a place less than a mile away and get twice as much for half the price (and better tasting too).

However, this review isn't about my grievances toward chain restaurants, it's about my first and last trip to this specific PF Chang, which took place this summer. I went on a Friday night with a group of friends. We made reservations and our party of 7 was seated very quickly (only a few minute wait versus the walk in wait of 20+ minutes). They put us at a table that was too small, but considering the layout of the restaurant itself, it seemed like every table was too small. We ordered and got our food. Everyone ate. It was expensive. Blah blah blah. Service was so-so, not awful, but not good either.

My main problem came three hours later while I was watching a movie at the theatre. I got sick. First it was a headache, then a stomach ache, and with 20 minutes left in the movie I was running to the bathroom and vomiting. I missed the rest of the movie, and for three full days I wasn't able to even get out of bed. I refuse to go back here ever again, even if it was a fluke, I'm not leaving it to chance.

This was my first time here and we came for drinks and appetizers before heading to a movie.  We landed at the bar, which is really pretty small and had to wait for a spot to be cleared.

After being seated and our drink and food order taken, another bartender walks up and asks the same questions.  After our drinks are in front of us, he comes up and asks for our food order.  First appetizer comes and he comes and asks again.

Crispy green beans are good, hot sour soup not so much.  I missed out on the spring rolls, so they must have been good.  Drinks are bah.

Noisy and crowded.  One of the waiters trips on my friend's chair and almost knocks her out of her seat onto my lap.  I turn to see what is going on and the waiter offers a lame apology.   I think my rating is mostly for the staff.

It's nice inside but I'm heading elsewhere next time.

Oh let me count the ways I heart PF Changs...

From their fabulous gluten free menu to their scrumptious gluten-filled food, my mouth waters whenever I think about it. Sure, this is the closest PF Changes to my place and getting there entails crossing the border and driving for about an hour and 45 minutes.... but then we'll usually just make a day out of it. Mmmmmm...

My favorite dishes include coconut curry vegetable, lettuce wraps, and spicy green beans. Oh how I wish I could make the trek to PF Changs today!

It's PF Changs. It's a chain. Not rocket science. I had a lunch date here and the food was fine, the service was fine. The date wasn't. I had to listen to him go on for 40 minutes how he wasn't over his ex, and that she was a skank. I probably got a bad taste of this PF Changs from that in itself, but whatev. PS Dude... PF Changs is NOT a way to impress a lady.

If you have to eat at the mall, cause say your family lives up near there, and tends to like to go to the mall you could do a lot worse than eating at P.F. Changs.

There is an ancient recipe for eating at P.F. Changes - Only order appetizers. The soothing lettuce wraps are yummy, and the salt and pepper ribs are honestly some of my favorite ribs anywhere, and I likes my ribs.

Sit at the bar, order a cocktail and a couple of appetizers, and enjoy Lynnwood!

Seriously, people actually like this place?  The price is high, the food is terrible, the servers don't know the menu.  This restaurant is for people who don't know Chinese food.  Everyone raves about the lettuce wraps, but seriously, are they really THAT good?  I certainly wouldn't go back even for those.  The only dish that is semi-good is the Mongolian beef, but that's only if you like onions because there are probably more onions in the dish than beef.

I hate to say it, but I actually kinda like this place!

Any place that has an extensive cocktail list is a winner in my books.  And PF Changs makes some very drinkable, very yummy adult beverages (try the Palace Cocktail!).  The food is pretty darn good--try the crab wontons, the Mongolian beef, the Chicken Lo Mein, and the Chicken Lettuce Wraps.  All are satisfyingly good.

If you're not up for a cocktail, try a pot of tea.  They have several different varieties on their menu.

The atmosphere is decent.  Lots of soothing brown and orange tones.  I like getting a booth so I can look out at all the "beautiful" people of Lynnwood as I dine (I'm the queen of snarky comments!).  The waiters and waitresses do a nice job of making sure you're well fed and hydrated.

The only downside is that this place gets packed at night and on the weekend, but they do let you call ahead and reserve a table.

Hey--its Lynnwood and its the mall--you could either have PF Changs or the Panda Express.  My money's on PF Changs!

Let's say you're up in Lynnwood and you want to celebrate. Maybe you just dumped some a-hole or you just got promoted. The bar at P.F. Changs is probably going to be the classiest place around to get sloshed. And by classy, I mean the patrons will be well-dressed and groomed, the drinks will be expensive and the decor more refined than your typical Lynnwood watering hole.

They actually make some tasty drinks here and the food isn't bad either. I've been known to throw back a few cocktails and then head on over to Victoria's Secret to buy sexy underwear that I later looked at and thought "now when in the HELL am I going to wear that?"

Believe it or not, this place gets very, very crowded. Don't be surprised if you have to wait to just get a seat at the bar.

I have celiac disease, which means I need to eat gluten-free food.

What a relief to discover P.F. Chang's, which offers an entire gluten-free chinese food menu! (You need to ask for it from your server). The menu is smaller than the normal menu, but so delicious, and actual chinese food! So exciting for those of us who must eat this rather limiting diet!

The only reason it does not rate 5 stars is that the restaurant tends to be very noisy, and not very relaxing. But the decor is very cool.

The food is OK, I realty don't go for the Americanized stuff. It isn't like it is the best Chinese. It is not worth the money we spent 35$ and we were not full and it was just me and one friend. It is very crowded and noisy. It takes forever to get a table (you have to get a beeper) and waiting for the food is too long.

I think it would be better to go to a real Chinese restaurant, like a mom and pop place. It is a lot cheaper, tastes just as good if not better and is the real thing with good service.

My mother and I were walking the Alderwood Mall, for exercise and a bit of window shopping. After 3 hours I got hungry! And muy thirsty!
So after a bit of hassling, I TOLD her, quite firmly, I might add that we are going to lunch!
The lunch crowd was not as busy as I was expecting, and on a Saturday! Who wants to risk the mall on a Saturday?? Apparantly I was courting death! But it was actually alot better than usual!
After my quite attractive waiter, I believe his name was Ed, mixed us a somewhat bland specialty sauce..? I guess that is their attempt to be different from other Chinese restaurant's, and I only say that because of the Fortune cookies!
I've never been to PF's before 4pm, so I was delighted to see they do have a lunch menu! Surprizing and the pricing was also quite reasonable!  About $8 bucks..
I decided to try the Almond Cashew Chicken, mostly cause I like nuts!
Its basically a white Chef boyardee, trying to play with asian spice's, but  it was quite edible, and it held up well in my fridge for dinner Sunday night!  A bonus!
My mother did not enjoy her Steak dish, she said it was too spicy.  I believe the actual name of  the said dish, was something like Spicy Steak bits, or something of that nature!  She apparantly did not observe that on the menu!
I order my most favorite drink of ALLLLLL time! The Key Lime Martini, is AMAZAZING!! It's like drinking a cheesecake!
I had 2!
They also came up with mini-dessert's in shot glass's! For those of us who just want a taste.. A  subtle hint of pleasure!
Well the Lemon confection that I sampled delivered! It was tart and tangy, and not enough to kill me with sweet! Refreshing actually!
I will most definitely be back for those Maritini's!!
Even though I have the recipe, you can ask for it at the Bar!
But where's the fun in that?

I remember fondly, my anticipation as Alderwood Mall underwent its transformation just a few years ago. Aside from the benefit of additional high-end shopping, we were very excited about the possibility of some decent restaurants coming to the area. Let's face it, Lynnwood is a culinary wasteland. There's not a single "indie" restaurant anywhere in the area.... at least not one that would be worth mentioning. There is certainly nothing that would be confused with an actual bistro. So we have to pretty much settle for the evil chains (evil, not because they're Godless heathens, but because they pass off average food as a high "standard").

PF Changs was the first of the new restaurants that we visited. The service was excellent, we got the lettuce appetizer for free, and the food was mostly acceptable, although VERY high in sodium. But we came back on the strength of the ambiance and the great service. Unfortunately, it was also the last time we'd ever see good service from this place. Two times we visited and literally got lost in the shuffle (at a time when the place was less than 1/3 full!!). The first time, the manager somehow noticed that we'd sat there for an hour without so much as a whiff of food. He gave us his card with a free meal (as in anything goes!) for four. So everything was good.... I guess. But then it happened again. Frankly, when I go to out to eat, I want it fast, I want it warm, and I'd really prefer that it be very good. PF's mostly gets the food right...... but again, the level of sodium in these dishes should be a major point of contention for any diner going there. Aside from being decidedly unhealthy, it just makes the food taste completely out of balance.

I gotta give them two stars. Three if you compare them to any other place in Lynnwood. But come on, the operative word there is Lynnwood. We have no restaurants above two stars anywhere within 10 miles of this place (Yup, I'm pretty much including most of Edmonds with the exception of Shell Creek and one slightly above average Italian place).

My mantra to God: please, please bring a real restauranteur to this place. A chef who has actual culinary training. Someone creative. Someone who somehow looks at Lynnwood and see a vast untapped resource of potential culinary-savvy citizens. Wait a second, what am I saying? This is LYNNWOOD, if someone actually thought something like that, I'd have to seriously ask about their sanity!

The food here is above average and so is the atmosphere. I love the bowl of hot and sour soup, big enough to easily share with at least 4 people. The Mongolian beef was tender but not greasy. The Kung Pao scallops were a little dry, but made from good scallops and tasty. The lettuce wraps were very good, the lettuce was perfect. And I have to mention, though you don't seek out margaritas at Asian restaurants, that a bartender here named Heather made a really good scratch margarita, honestly one of the better ones around. Not too sweet like some of that gag juice from a bar gun. It was even better than the Organic Agave margarita they make. Try it. The service is really good here, friendly too. Better than I would expect at a mall location. (Alderwood Mall on the NW corner) This isn't the kind of place I go out of my way for, but it might be the best restaurant at Alderwood Mall if you get hungry when you are there. I have also been to the one at Westlake Center. It was the same place in a different location.

This past weekend, I went to the mall with some friends. I've eaten here two previous times and enjoyed the food however the noise level was high and service was less than acceptable. Well, I wasn't surprised to find out that it hasn't changed. When we enter the restaurant the hostess was attentive and we had a very short wait to be seated which was fine. Once seated, I felt like I was eating with strangers because the tables are so close and our waitress demonstrated a total disinterest in being there. She almost dropped the condiment sauces and was somewhat rude when taking our orders. Food arrived and it was good however she never once came over to refill our water glasses and it took forever to get our check...even after telling her we were ready to leave and needed our check. She came back out to serve the table next to us we noticed the boxes we had asked for were sitting on her tray so we grabbed them and boxed up our leftovers. She never apologized for the delay or even gave a reason for the slow service. The place wasn't really packed so, in my mind, it should never have taken as long as it did to get in and out of the restaurant. Sorry, but if you are in the restaurant business, you need to show a bit more concern for your customers.

I havent been down to the Alderwood mall really since they gave it an overhaul and stocked it with new stores and eateries. Here we go again with the trendy stupid resteraunts. The first place I spot while driving around and around and around and around looking for a parking place is an establishement called "Macaroni's"  For gawd sakes, why?? Another cutesy sounding name to bring the shopers in. But, thats not I'm reviewing here. Changs is, in one word NOISY!!!!!. We were there during the lunch hour and yes, the place was a bit full but if you're looking for that quick and quiet place for lunch or dinner, forget it.  Its all open air seating in a huge facility. Yell to be heard. Like an elementry school lunchroom during feeding time..Changs is all decorated very nice and pretty. The food was decent. Good menu selection and lots of  polite and attentive wait staff to take care of things, although it was bit slow between hello and goodbye. Prices were good to pricey, depending of course how much you want to pile it all on. Anything with seafood in it is going to cost you. Lots of chicken this and that. I had the chicken cashew lunch bowl thing and it was quite tasty. Again, food is good and not too loaded with sodium to keep you up peeing all night like many Chinese joints.

If it's past 5:30 on a Friday forget about even getting close to this place. That does say something about how good it is though! This place can either be really, really expensive or a $20 date depending on how you do. You must try the Lettuce Wraps they really will make you very happy you came in! I love it here mostly because unlike a lot of other Chinese places they only use white meat chicken...I have a thing against dark. Everything I've tried is really, really good.
