We specialize in the intricate wiring found in older buildings. We have  years of experience with electrical systems dating from the 1890s through the new millennium. Updating vintage wiring is our specialty, but we are well equipped to design and install power and lighting systems for your new kitchens or baths. Service upgrades, whole house rewires, condominium conversions are all routine jobs for us. But we are happy to do smaller jobs such as repairing outlets, switches and lights or adding ceiling fans or new fixtures as well.

Established in 1996

I came from a family of electricians. My father, my grandfather, and even my great grandfather were all electricians in Chicago. I grew up all around it. In 1978 I first started out as a helper. I later became an apprentice and eventually a full fledged journeyman. I worked downtown in the high rises for many years, although I began by piping and wiring single family homes in newer suburban subdivisions. Later I worked for a contractor that did a lot of rehabs and renovations. I decided to open my own business in 1996 and have never been happier!
