My family and I have been seeing Dr. Kiryakos for over fifteen years. We love the entire team, and of course Dr. Kiryakos as well. They are always very friendly and remember us from visit to visit. They genuinely care about your well-being and are very passionate about patient care and oral health. I recently returned to the bay area after four years living in ND. I hadn't seen a dentist in ND, and I'd had three children, so when I came back and saw Dr. Kiryakos, I was nervous! He was very honest and reassuring and set up a treatment plan for me. He took care of the issues and never made me feel ashamed. We will be taking my sons to him as well when the time comes, making three generations of our family to see him and his staff!

I started going to Dr. Kiryakos after years of not going to a dentist, so I was dreading the work that would need to be done. My first visit, he stuck an instrument in my mouth and I thought, "I hope that was the shot cuz I didn't feel a thing." And sure enough, it was!
I knew I was in great hands from that moment on. I've gone to him for over 5 years now and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. He's personable, on time, and does good work. -

Great dentist. Was treated very well when I had to get fillings and a crowns put in place. After I moved to the city they were very helpful in making sure that I found the right dentist!

I've been to about 9-10 different dentists/oral surgeons and Dr. Kiryakos ranks up as one of the two best I've ever seen (Dr. Glen Lee in Santa Barbara is the other one). His professionalism, wisdom, and ability to explain what's going on with your teeth is unmatched. I was impressed with his probe cam, where he was able to put up a magnified visual on the monitor of your teeth and gums to show you what was going on , it was the most thorough examination I've ever had. He also stresses preventive care, taking care of cavities in the early stages to prevent major dental work later.
A special mention to his amazing office staff! They treat you like family and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.
If you're looking for a dentist in the area you absolutely need to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kiryakos, after one visit you may actually like going to the dentist. -

Great dentist! Fixed me up good. Nice guy. Loves the Sharks and the staff is really cool and they even give ya shots of Petron tequila! (not really, but ask for it anyway) You won't find any better.

Just had my first two fillings done by Dr. K. this morning and he is the best. I never even felt the novocaine needle, he answered all my questions, told me what to look out for, and best of all, didn't make a big deal over my obvious nervousness (shaking hands and lower jaw - thank goodness he was working on the top). Lovely, kind assistant and front office staff. I feel very relieved to have found Dr.K, since the teeth in our family seem to be made of styrofoam. We're going to be there a lot in the coming months!

I wish Dr Kiryakos's office was just as responsive and attentive as the doc himself. Have been going to him for 10yrs now sometimes driving more than 40 miles just because he is one of the dentists who knows what he is doing. Not his billing staff though, Atrina in particular, sweet spoken but completely clueless, keeps giving me the run around. I'll send an estimate, which never arrives then she tells me on the day of service, oh I've checked it'll be not more than $60 out of pocket, only to find out that shes billed me for $900!!!I call insurance, they tell me billing was incorrect and $250 should not be paid, well I tell her that and pay the diff out of pocket. Then I ask her if the bill is settled, yes she says. I again start getting bills for the same thing! Leave messages, no call back. Have another service scheduled and again havent received the estimate, called in to request it, oh I mailed it a month back, please send a copy I ask...nothing yet...going to cancel the appointment. Had it with this office, dont want to leave the doc though, maybe I'll let him know the situation before I leave, but for now extremely unhappy.

Put it this way, I drive for almost 2 hours to see Dr. Kiryakos. I have been going to him for several years because of his outstanding service. He is a very gentle, knowledgable, and friendly dentist. I used to dread going to the dentist until I became a patient of Dr. Kiryakos. His staff is also very friendly and organized, and they always keep on top of their appointments. He's the best in San Jose! Go see him!
