Great tasting chicken and compared to other area Peruvian chicken places this place is definitely worth a try. A whole chicken is just under $10.

Place is very spacious, big wide windows, and clean. Service was friendly.
One thing I didn't like was that you didn't get, nor was I asked if I wanted or needed the white and green sauces you normally get anywhere else.

Food was good and I'll definitely be back for more.

I agree with Tim that this place should have so many more reviews given the fact that this is hands down my favorite of the peruvian chicken places around town.  Even though they raised the price from $4.50 to maybe $5 for the 1/4 chicken w/white meat meal, this place is still a fantastic value and some seriously delicious food.

I've had the Chicken and Cheese (and more cheese) sandwich, and the Chicken Gyro, but I definitely recommend just getting the 1/4 chicken w/white meat and YUCCA!  It comes on a single plate with a little salad.  The wing portion is typically too well done to enjoy the whole thing, but the breast is so succulent and juicy.  Of course the reason I love it the most is because the sauce is fantastic.  The green sauce is good and spicy, and the mayo sauce is tangy and delicious.  Combine them for the ultimate yucca dipping sauce and enjoy.  Also, I've never been charged for getting extras.

As with any restaurant, go during the regular lunch and dinner times to get the best quality food.  Somebody try some of the other sides and let me know how they are.  I love the basics so much I might never get anything else.

I'm amazed that this place doesn't have more presence on Yelp. While having tried a good number of Peruvian chicken places around here (Edy's, El Pollo Sabroso, El Pollo Rey, Crisp and Juicy, just to name a few) this place is definitely my favorite. The herbs that they use in the rub goes perfectly with the crispy skin as well as compliments the meat that is rotisseried in it's own juices.

They have a really wide selection here and I've had quite a few things off the menu. However, I recommend that if nothing else, you go and get a quarter chicken dark meal (or white if you swing that way but once you go dark, you never go... something?). It comes with a small salad and a side of either fries or yucca. If you have never had yucca before, please do yourself a favor and get the yucca instead of fries. While their fries are perfectly tasty, the yucca is about 10 times better.

They also give you two sauces; one white and one green. While I'm sure there isn't really a "correct" way to use the sauce, I recommend that the white, creamy sauce be used for yucca and the green, spicy sauce be used for meat. By the way, the salsa verde (green sauce) is also the best salsa that I have had at a Peruvian chicken joint. Some places even charge for this sauce and the sauce isn't even as good as here!

Also, the place has a new sign and apparently it's now known as Desi's Chicken instead of Peruvian Chicken and Steak. That might help you find it easier. They take credit cards too!

Fast food style place for some good peruvian chicken.  I prefer to get their chicken gyros (yum) and the fried yucca is good too.  They also have some sweet drink  that I've forgotten the name of that definitely takes some getting used to.  Definitly not like anything I've ever had before, but looked pretty standard to everyone else consuming the beverage.  Its not bad, just different -  I gues th most important thing is that I would drink it again and could probably grow to realyl like it.
