Oh my god.  Huge sandwiches with lots of meat and enough thick, crispy bacon to feed people (check the plural).

Had my first sandwich there today, the turkey, bacon, triple decker, number two or three.  It was so delicious, actual turkey, not cold cuts.

I love this place.

Perry's is one of the better deli's in Chicago. The sandwiches are HUGE and the food is excellent. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable.

I highly recommend this place and would go out of my way to eat there. Happy Eats!

Perry's serves yummy food but the name of the game here is quantity, not quality.  Seriously, the sandwiches are enormous but the prices, not so much.

The deli meats are all good, particularly the pastrami which comes hot and piled high.  Of course all the sandwiches are piled high.  Really high.  Imagine, if you will, a giant sammich.  Now imagine if you could take the sammich to a photocopier and then hit the increase size by 150%.  Sounds tempting?  If so you need to head to Perry's.  Just not on a Friday at noon where the line can literally be out the door.

Perry (the original owner) was great -- I miss the trivia questions where the winner got a "free stale danish".  Apparently he now runs a dog kennel in Indiana.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it, this forever Manny's loving girl thinks the Pastramis and Corned Beefs are better at Perry's. What?! Yeah, I said it. Sorry, Manny. This place is incredible. And thank goodness it's not open past 4, because you really shouldn't go to sleep for at least 5 or 6 hours after consuming even half of one of these sammies, because you have a good chance of falling into a food coma. As blissful as that might be, you may never wake up from this one, because these sandwiches are so INTENSE. I only go here if I have someone to split with, and I still feel like dying after. But enough goozing about the size, the quality is top notch. And their soups are the best in the loop. Expect a line out the door between 12 and 1. But if you haven't been yet and you have any sort of affection for the sandwich, make it a point to see what Perry's is all about.

This ain't no Brooklyn deli, but for Chicago, it's good. HUGE, die-of-a- heart-attack, couldn't-eat-it-if-you-were-600-pounds sandwiches, piled HIGH as the Willis Tower with meat. For $11 or $12, you are getting 4 dinners here. Great personality, great joint, good food.

Best sandwich in Chicago....hands down!!!

Great helpful staff.  Fantastic sandwiches at fair prices.  Everyone there was helpful when I came in with my three boys for lunch.  It took awhile for them to figure out what they wanted, but with some help from the guys behind the counter, they got what they wanted and loved every minute of it at lunch...and dinner when they finished their sandwiches.

Everytime we come downtown, my boys ask "Are we going to Perry's?".  And my answer is the same......"Of course".

It's true. The sandwiches here are bigger than your face. At least mine  for sure..
Perry's is like a New York deli except it's a little bit more spacious and the people who work and eat there are nice.
I went traditional and ordered the Turkey on Rye with lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo. The turkey on this baby tasted exactly like thanksgiving except it was cold and not as dry.
For my friend I ordered the #14, corn beef on rye with lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing . I later snubbed a little bite and it was amazing. Best corn beef I've ever had, including the ones I had in NYC.

Food aside, this place is perfect place to eat for pranksters. Apparently you're not allowed to use your cell here and if you get caught the employees behind the counter buz this obnoxiously loud alarm that goes off until you put your phone away. My idea is this: Suggest this place to a friend then call them while they are there. HA....funny.

Amazing!

I should say as time goes on I am trying to be less free with my 5 star reviews and this was a real hard choice, I thought to myself have I had a better deli sandwich the answer is yes, all be it not in Chicago, still a better one is out there!  Is it much better? No!  If there were two sandwiches sitting in front of me and one of them was a 17 1/2 grilled from Bread Basket deli in Southfield Michigan vs Toot's Temptation I would have to think long and hard and then go with the 17 1/2 from The Bread Basket...

Having said that, in Chicago this place is 5 stars no doubt on every level!

Remember 5 stars means as good as it gets and Perry's is as good as a Deli sandwich in Chicago gets!

My buddy split two of these behemoths and I ate every last bite of mine he took half of his home...boooooo...

We had the Ormand street special (an Orgy of corn beef and roast beef mounded with cheese and coleslaw and some of the best russian dressing I have ever had the pleasure to consume!) and Toot's Temptation (flavorful brisket with sweet onion cheese and a heaping scoop of coleslaw all smeared with amazing russian dressing)  my favorite of the two was Toot's Temptation, every sandwich I saw in that place looked off the hook, even the egg salad looked like a must have in the future!

Even the guy behind the counter was impressed that I ate both halves of the two sandwiches...I guess I am a certified sow what can I say?

The humdinger of the whole event was the pasta salad I could roll around in that and bathe in its subtle notes of butter and black pepper, it was maybe the best Pasta salad I have ever taken down, I do love subtle flavors with a complex execution first its butter then its pepper oh and just enough salt to remind you that you are alive!  Sooo good!

I will be back again and again this is one thing I know for sure!

you can't eat the sandwiches by your self. they are huge.
the best part of all, they are actually really good.
I'm not a sandwich eater, but this one is an exception.
choose russian dressing for your sandwich, can't go wrong.
make sure you turn off your cell phone, otherwise they'll annoy you and would be the center of attention.

Maybe the best fress in the  Loop. I've been eating here since 1986, when Perry's opened and I worked at 333.

Perry won my heart in 1987, when the trivia question of the day was: "Who is Tom Terrific's nemesis?" I blurted out the answer with a childhood memory rush, and won a cheesecake.

Yesterday, "Perry's Favorite" hit the spot: corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, slaw on rye.

Ooooh, The Food Baby came right away.

oh! The answer is......."Crabby Appleton."

Great turkey on rye - add Russian.  Huge sandwiches.  This place is definitely for big dudes, though.  And if you were a single girl, this would be the place to meet a guy.  It's a sausage-fest in there!

If you are searching the loop at lunch for an over the top delicious sandwich, Perry's is the place.  I have walked by this deli numerous times and witnessed crowds that sometimes are out the door.  Curiosity got the best of me but timing was not my strong suit as they close at 2:30 each day and are not open on weekends.  So I finally got my act together arriving one Friday at 2:00 P.M.  The crowd had dwindled so I quickly placed my order for two sandwiches: turkey and roast beef.  The server informed me that they were just about out of bread with only wheat available.  Thought I would have preferred rye, wheat it was.  Ate the sandwiches a few hours later at dinner.  They were outstanding. The turkey was thick and moist, and the roast beef was lean and succulent.  The pickles were great but the tiny sides were uneven.  Slaw was good but the macaroni salad tasted as if it had been refrigerated for a week.  If the bread of my choice had been available and the salad palatable, this place could have been five stars.  Sandwiches are pricey but they may be the best in the loop.

YUM. If you've never been to Perry's, go hungry. Like, don't eat for 2 days hungry. That might be the only shot you'll have at finishing one of their sandwiches in one shot. Anytime I've walked in there and ordered one, the guy behind the counter has just wrapped up half of it for me straight away - without my asking. He was right every time. While delicious, there's not a shot I could finish one in one sitting. Love their tuna & corned beef. The roast beef is good, but not great. I order the tuna every time now. It's got a little bit of relish in it, which is odd (to me), but bizarrely delicious. In fact, I kinda wish I was in the Loop now so I could go get one. I'm hungry now. :)

Their no cell phone policy is a blessing. No rude people screaming in their phones about some inane thing you couldn't care less about. The Perry's ambiance is cute to begin with, this just sends it over the top. Way to go Perrys.

I have been wanting to try Perry's after hearing so much buzz about them, so I suggested it for lunch with my cousin.

I knew coming in how big the sandwiches are. My cousin and I decided to split the Perry's Favorite, and each got our own side. She tried the potato salad and I got the mac salad. Honestly, the mac salad was very, very bland and not very tasty. The sandwich was still unbelievably huge and messy. Neither of us could finish our half. It was tasty, but not as good as it was hyped. I did, however, really like how they gave us 2 pickles each.

Overall, it was satisfying for the price and quantity, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip there again.

I work nearby and have went to Perry's twice.   I'm just not wowed by their sandwiches.   Yes, they are HUGE . . . but I think they're kind of boring, even their specialty sandwiches.   Additionally, I don't think that the price is all the great - I paid $10 for a sandwich and a tiny cup of crappy potato salad.   (Btw, skip the potato salad - too heavy on the mustard).
Now - If you want a GREAT sandwich for a little cheaper, walk around the block to Specialty's at the corner of Lake and Wacker.  They have awesome sandwiches and amazing bread baked fresh in house.

Perry's isn't exactly the kind of place you can go on a regular basis.  It is, however, the kind of place you can go gorge yourself at once every few months... provided you like sandwiches the size of a car battery.  And provided you aren't planning on talking on your phone in line.

I am pretty sure I can't cover much on here that hasn't been said in most of the previous reviews but I will share the fact that the last time I was here, I was standing in line and I overheard a man who must have been 300 lbs or more challenging another man who appeared even heavier to a contest to see if either of them could personally take down two of the Caveat Emptor sandwich (what I believe is the largest sandwich on the menu).

Sadly I took my sandwich to go, and was unable to verify the results of this competition of large stomachs and questionable judgment.

If you've never visited Perry's over your weekday lunch hour then I contest that you've been robbing yourself of the same amount of satisfaction produced by a snow day at work, watching your favorite team win the Super Bowl, and winning the lottery so you can go into early retirement COMBINED!

The best way to explain the lovingly crafted sandwiches found here is with an analogy: if the sandwich world was a three-ring Russian circus, Perry's sandwiches would be the dancing bears who ride unicycles and juggle bowling pins.  From the Mad Moscow (Corned Beef, Pastrami, Cole Slaw, Russian dressing and your choice of cheese on Rye) to the Peter Panski (Ham, Bacon, Cole Slaw, Tomato, and PEANUT BUTTER on rye), these creations are so ridiculous in their deliciousness and their MASSIVE GIRTH that it's a wonder the masses aren't driven stark-raving mad with pure delight.

Seeing as lunch should be a social gathering of friends (or at least casual, slightly awkward coworkers) where work and worries are left behind, one of the most endearing qualities possessed by the home of Chicago's Sandwich Czar is the strict prohibition of any cell phone use.  If you're sighted whilst engaged in any sort of douche-tastic yammering, an ear-splitting ALARM will sound, fingers will be pointed, and the shame you feel will shake you to your core.  You will never forget or duplicate your mistake.  Luckily for you, your spirit will be buoyed by the divine delicacy stockpiled before you on its Styrofoam seat, and your grief will be washed away later in the afternoon during a pleasant episode of the 'meat sweats'.

All in all, if you're a hungry person, you want a bargain meal (a sandwich can easily be stretched into two meals) and you enjoy it when bluetooth-wearing, tool-bag jerks are put in their place... please go to Perry's, commit meaticide, and bid 'do svidaniya' to your hunger FOREVER!

You will, undoubtedly, feel like an idiot the first time you come here, so just relax and know that, the next time you come in, you can laugh at all the first timers you notice.

Some of the sandwiches here are completely out of control. Some of these sandwiches can be broken apart and split into portions you could live on for a week. I'm not joking. Also, I recommend, at least, a light jog a few hours after consuming a sandwich. God only knows you'll need more than that.

The downfall of Perry's is that it's cash-only, which limits my trips here to about once/month. But when I go, it's always Turkey salad on wheat, spicy mustard, lettuce and tomato. Side of mac. Pickle. And I'm sold.

Just don't be scared.

Big as your head sandwiches are actually a bit intimidating. But when I do I bring my appetite, and I usually end up with leftovers for lunch the next day too.
After a couple of visits, unfortunately I think that size is the best thing going for Perry's.

"Excuse me! Sir. Excuse me, but I believe you made a mistake. See, I was just looking for something small for lunch. Just a half a sandwich and some soup. It looks as if you have given me two sandwiches.. two really big sandwiches! Oh, what's that? This is a half a sandwich? Seriously? (pause for reflection)........I love you."

I must be living in a bubble because after over a year of working only a block away from this place, I have only now made my way in. I will say, however, this was not my first attempt to go to Perry's. Several times in the summer I would wander over that direction and try to get in when there would literally be a line out the door. I would leave a sad, broken, hungry, hungry man.

Alas, yesterday a thought occur ed to me! Who would be dumb enough to brave the cold to go out to eat? My first answer was NO ONE! My second answer - me! I made the decision. Perry's was my destination, and to my delight, I was of but only a few that braved the sub zero temperatures to walk into Perrys during PRIME lunch hours.

I placed my order and the gentlemen behind the counter were very polite and explained all my options - even taking the time to ask twice on some things to make sure they got it right! I have to say, the atmosphere was so friendly - and they were so appreciative of my business, I would go back again even if the food wasn't extremely awesome. I ordered the Thursday Special which came with a 1/2 Perrys Favorite (Corned Beef, Jack Cheese, Cole Slaw and Russian Dressing) a cup of soup and a side of slaw or macaroni salad.

This was NOT a 1/2 of sandwich. I sat there gazing upon this beast for a couple minutes actually contemplating breaking the meat up to make myself 2 or 3 more sandwiches for lunch the next few days. But I decide no. This sandwich must be enjoyed the way good folks at Perrys intended it to be - grab it and down it. And that I did! The soup as well was delicious! I love going to a place where the soup is perfectly salted that you don't have to add any for flavor. The turkey and vegetables tasted fresh, and it was still pipping hot when I got back to my office after braving the cold - always a plus!

I believe I may have stumbled upon a new addiction...

My favorite lunch spot is right across the street from Perry's (Goodwins) so I decided to give this place a try after seeing the line out the door.

I can definitely see why people like this place.  It has personality.  There's a buzz in this restaurant the minute you walk in.  Chances are you won't get a table but get your food to go and bring it back to the office.  I'm just not a fan of the sandwiches.  They are huge and stuffed with too much meat.  Now, normally that would be a good thing...but for whatever reason it's not what I'm looking for during lunch.  I encourage everyone to try this place if they haven't already.  You will more than likely enjoy your lunch.  I just feel Goodwins across the street is a tastier option

What kind of deli DOESN'T have a reuben???  That's what I want to know.  What I had (the #24 Perry's Favorite)  was a huge disappointment.  This place was so built up for me and I was so excited to go and try it.

I can't see what everyone digs about this place so much unless everyone is just way excited about sammys the size of your head.  I stared at the guy behind the counter for five minutes waiting to order, when I did his suggested replacement sandwhich was nothing like what I was hoping for, the corned beef that was sitting in the slow cooker was just barely over room temperature, and what they call Russian Dressing is definitely not.  Also since when was cole slaw a sandwich topping?

I didn't realize there was some sort of cell phone siren, but I wasn't on my phone at the time.  However novelties like that don't affect my rating just as the people and anticipation of going here didn't.  I may make a return visit yet only because I'm fairly certain my experience was isolated and some other items on the menu sound a little better, but for now the 2 stars stand.

About the only thing bigger than a Perry's sandwich is the tour bus for the Rolling Stones.  Even then, I'm not quite sure.  I can't eat an entire sandwich here and I'm quite an eater.  If you can, then you're a pig and you'll need the services of a cardiologist in the near future.  With that said, my first experience at Perry's was excellent.

I was picking up sandwiches for a bunch of my clients and co-workers to eat-in for a lunch meeting.  Interestingly, they have a phone number for you to place to-go orders, but the day I did it, no one answered the phone.  I thought for a second they might be closed, but I schleped my butt down there and guess what.  The place was packed....oh well.  May this serve to a warning to any of those who call...

So, I get there and it immediately made sense why they didn't pick up.  This place is all about law and order.  You go up to the counter and there's a sequence to how you do things.  If you get out of sequence, they don't get upset, but it definitely throws the pattern.  Do make sure you study the menu before you go up there so you don't waste their time.

On a food perspective, quite excellent.  I had the Perry's Special with a cup of soup.  Everything is homemade there, even the decadent brownies.  I was impressed that when I ordered a corned beef sandwich, the woman pulled fresh corned beef out of a cooker with tongs.

I'm drooling just thinking about corned beef.  Dammit.

Damn good deli.  Now I just need to try Manny's.

If you like meat, this is a great deli.

However, its not special beyond that.  Sandwiches are pretty standard except the quality and huge amounts of meat - basic bread, tomato, lettuce, etc.  My Carolina Triple decker fell apart after a couple bites.  I did love the pickle, but the cole slaw was too sweet for me.

NY deli has nothing on this place. HUGE sandwiches and great corned beef. I'm a girl, and when I order a sandwich to eat there instead of taking it to go, they automatically wrap half of it for me, which I think is a nice touch. Favorite is the ormond street special drenched in cole slaw and fresh made russian dressing. My friend is a fan of the BLT which looks like it contains a dozen pieces of bacon!

There's a line out the door at lunch so get there early. They close at 2:00 and they aren't open on weekends. Also, no cell phone use allowed or you'll hear an alarm go off and people will yell at you to put it away!

Ugh, I just finished my whole triple decker. That was a lot of sandwich for anyone. I feel like the quality was a little above average. The main draw to this place would be that the sandwiches are really as big as your head and reasonably priced. I was excited that I got to see someone set  off the alarm for using their phone in the deli (against the rules). The service was pretty quick and friendly. I recommend this place, but not at the top of my list.

Ways to have a fun time at Perry's:

1. Bring your cell phone. Oh wait, NO - that's cardinal rule number 1 NOT to break. the siren will go off. It will be embarrassing for you, annoying/funny for everyone else. Don't do it.

2. Be a girl and order a full sandwich AND soup, and then banter with the guy behind the counter about no, he does NOT need to wrap up the bigger half of your sandwich because yes, you will attempt to eat the whole thing (and regret it later). I'm sorry, but 3 months out of college and swim team? I still can eat like a swimmer, even if I don't look like it! In all seriousness though -that wrapping up half your sandwich thing? It's very cute.

3. Order the Peter Panski (peanut butter, ham...i don't think I need to say any more). The one time I got this, the guy behind the counter said 'no, you don't want that.."

"Um, yeah i do."
"No. really??"
"yeah, peter panski."
"That sandwich has peanut butter...AND HAM!"
"yes, one of those, please"
"we created that sandwich as a joke, you know!"

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have ordered it, but they told me I was and made me feel like it. it was pretty awesome (and delicious, thanks to the best friend who converted me to the idea of peanut butter and ham at age 6.)

I love Perry's. at least in the summer, when it's not too far to walk. Don't be afraid of the line - it moves fast. And yes, these sandwiches are as big as some children's heads.

Hungry? I hope so!

I have been to Goodwin's, Eppy's, Jerry's and Manny's and I don't think any of them have a sandwich as large as Perry's triple decker for the price. The only place that has them beat on size and price is Bari (but thats a different kinda sandwich).

I walked over to Perry's the other day for lunch, it had been on my list of places to try for lunch for a long time. When I walked up around 1:00 pm the line was out the door. I knew better then to talk on my phone and I even turned off my ipod in case I got buzzed for that. The lady behind me didn't know the rules and as soon as she stepped foot inside the alarm sounded and everyone was looking at her. When I finally got to the counter 20 minutes after first stepping into line I ordered the PJ's Paradise which is fresh tuna salad, sugar-cured bacon, crisp lettuce, tomato, mayo and muenster cheese on rye bread. I would of loved to try the "The Carolina" or even "The K.O. Club" which both sounded great but I figured there is always another time.

I was also picking up a sandwich for someone at work so I got both of them to go and headed back to the office. I underestimated how heavy the bag was going to be with two triple decker sandwiches. My arm was rather tired after the 15 minute walk back to the office. Once I got back and unwrapped my PJ's Paradise I was in shock -  it was so big! I dived right in! At the halfway point I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do the whole thing. But it was just too good to save for later... I didn't back down.

It was great and I can't wait to go back again!

The line is Long...

They have an attitude like they are doing you a favor, by "selling" you food. (it's not like its free)

Psycho about having your cell phone out.  Your not allowed to talk on your phone at all, anywhere anytime.  What am I in Preschool?

Atmoshpere Sucks !
Food was very good, but you need more than that to get 5 stars !!!

I have never felt as skinny as I did at Perry's Deli.   As we waited in a fairly long line at lunch time and looked over the menu, i looked around at the sandwiches people were eating and thought "wow they look gigantic".  But nothing prepared me for watching them prepare my #18 (Beef brisket on rye with tomatoes, onions, and russian dressing).  I think my eyes might have popped out of my head as I saw them loading on the piles of beef and slathering the bread with russian dressing.   I watched in complete awe and thought to myself "theres no way i can eat all that".  The guy must have read my mind and promptly wrapped the second half up in saran wrap and put it in a bag.   It felt so awesome that he didn't think i could finish it myself :)

After sitting down and starting to enjoy the perfectly prepared sandwich, this gigantic alarm went off and everyone started looking around.  Being a tourist, i had not a clue what was happening until i saw the lady say "Allright i'm putting it away".  She had out her cell phone and they had a strict no cell phone policy!

Sandwich was great... perfect brisket, but not too thick so i couldn't get it in my mouth.  Very similar to the baltimore favorite of pit beef.  The russian dressing was great and i really liked my side of potato salad.  All in all a perfect meal before getting on plane to go home!

As i walked out, feeling very special with my wrapped up sandwich, i noticed that all the girls had half of theirs in a bag, so while maybe i didn't feel as special,i still felt pretty skinny

I guess any deli can pile meat on a couple slices of bread, but I hope I'll never stop being excited when I'm handed a sandwich the size of a toaster.  Here's what I was into:

1.  I got the corned beef.  Spicy mustard, cool cheese, rye bread, big salty pile of corned beef.

2.  Good, crunchy, fresh cole slaw.  Very important.

3.  Pickles - not screwed up.  Literally, a deli pickle just has to avoid being gross.  That's it.  Perry's wins on that front too.

I could talk about the decor or the no cell phone policy, but that would be burying the lede.  The point is - BIG PILE OF MEAT!

You're still here?  It's over! Go!

One of the most ridiculous sandwiches I've had in a long time. Corned Beef, Roast Beef, Muenster, Cole Slaw, Russian Dressing and Tomato on Rye. Sadly I could only eat half, but saved the rest for later. There are several sandwich combination that I can't wait to try that contain your artery clogging favorites such as bacon and egg...

Great if you enjoy quantity over quality. They only have one vegetarian sandwich, the egg salad. It's about a pound of egg salad on two slices of uninspiring bread. Their vegetables are cut so tiny as to be rendered nearly unrecognizable, and their styrofoam plates and plastic forks are like a big thumb-up-the-nose to anyone trying to be green. While the food is not bad by any means, it's really only a place I'll go if someone else is buying.

There are a few factors, however that make Perry's highly entertaining (and saved them from a two-star review). They are, in no particular order:

- The pineapple in the cole slaw. Bizarre, but delicious.
- The ardent hatred of cellular telephones.
- The fact that, if you have male co-workers, they will almost inevitably get in arguments with each other about who can eat more and eventually choose this place as their eat-off location.

Oh.  My.  Sandwich!

I would have to think very long and very hard to recall a better sandwich experience than the #24 Perry's Favorite.

Do NOT try to order it on anything but rye bread.  I ordered it on white and was nearly shown the door.

Corned beef piled a mile high, jack cheese, coleslaw, and Russian dressing.  I've rarely experienced this kind of meat sandwich euphoria.

The long lunch lines are justified.  Suck it up and you will be rewarded.

Why Perry's, what big sandwiches you have!  I know it's a common theme for delis to throw a ton of meat onto a couples slices of bread and wow everyone with it's obese, corned beef stature, but seriously this place is great.  Yeah, the sandwiches are huge, but there's still a balance between meat, bread and extras.  And the bread is actually good too.

I shared the Caveat Emptor with a friend, because the menu warned me that the sandwich was big enough to share.  It most certainly lived up to the hype, but really any sandwich here could be shared...or at least taken home.

Things to note:
- fantastic...no, amazing corned beef, served warm
- great russian dressing that is applied generously but not excessively
- delicious, and I assume homemade, dill pickles.
- great food, and a cool no-nonsense atmosphere
- perfectly reasonable prices for how much food you get

I used to go to Perry's years ago (99-00 time frame) when I worked downtown.

The one thing I remember besides the sandwiches as big as my head, the no-cell-phone rule, and the goofy trivia questions, was that for some reason every time I'd go there for lunch, the theme to Shaft would always play at some point. RIP Isaac Hayes.

I love Perry's. For about $8 you get the following: A sandwich the size of a baby stacked high with any assortment of meats/cheese/topping you want, a spear pickle and a side order of pasta salad or cole slaw. My favorite is the pastrami on rye bread. I'll finish half, wrap the rest (they provide plastic wrap and a brown bag) and have the rest for dinner that night. The restaurant itself can be very intimidating and can get very crowded durring lunch hours but I like it cause it has character.  All and all if you are looking for a monster sandwich for lunch this is one of the best delis in Chicago.

If you get a triple decker, expect a GINORMOUS sandwich. I like the philosophy of this place. A NY style deli, lunch line style service, no cell phones allowed (or you get the alarm sounded on you), huge tasty sandwiches. Everybody is happy. If you eat the whole sandwich you will feel simultaneously satisfied and disgusted.

As far as comparing it to Manny's, it's definitely up there. Maybe a taste test challenge is in the works. Perry's, Manny's, Eppy's, Jerry's...
