This place is awesome!!!!
The ambiance on the patio was fantastic! A wonderfully relaxing and comfortable place to dine. Lots of room but still felt cozy somehow.
The bruschetta that they bring with the bread was soooo good!
While I usually don't go for an appetizer, the baked brie looked to good to pass up and I'm oh so glad I decided to order it. It was one of the best I've ever had! A wonderful warm and gooey brie with fresh fruit. Heavenly.
On to the main course - As everything sounded so good we each ordered something different and sampled a bit. The Fiocchi Gorgonzola (purse shaped pasta with pear and Gorgonzola in a cheese sauce) was by far my fave and simply orgasmic. The lobster ravioli (which I am usually somewhat ambivalent towards) was excellent. I ordered the fettuccine with filet mignon but was a little disappointed (hence the 4 stars rather than 5) as the meat was overcooked and tough, despite the rest of the dish being fantastic. When I return (and I will), should I decide to order it again, I will be sure to specify that the filet be properly cooked and I recommend you do the same.
We skipped dessert because we were absolutely stuffed but the everything looked fantastic.
I will recommend that you stop by the small market that you walk through on your way in. They have all sorts of wonderful treats and if you are thinking of passing on those oh so delicious chocolates in the display case, let me impress upon you what a mistake that would be. Are they a little pricey? Yes. But sooooo worth it. Some of the best chocolates I've ever had.
We went on a Wednesday night, which turned out to be Ladies Night. The girls got 3 free glasses of wine (I believe the choices were a bellini, a pinot grigio, and a merlot) with a purchase of an entree.  This alone is worth at least $25 and the bellini was excellent. Not something I would normally order. So if you have a vagina, or know someone who does, make sure you stop by on Wednesday!

Dear Perricone's,

I can't believe I've never written about your scrumptious goodness.  Wow, shame on me!

I had the pleasure of returning here on Saturday for a lovely outdoor-afternoon Baby Shower.  We were set up outside and to the right, if you're looking at the restaurant from the front.  There was about 20 of us, so it was a nice-sized group and your staff did a great job in accommodating us.

When I arrived, there were already bottles of wine open on each table and the vibe was just right.  Upon being seated, my water glass was promptly filled.  Throughout the shower, none of us ever really wanted for anything.  The water was always filled, the wine kept flowing, and the staff was always nearby to assist.

For starters, they brought out some antipasto trays with different cold cuts, like salami and prosciutto, and some different cheeses.  This was absolutely scrumptious and paired excellently with the bread and bruschetta that came out just prior.

For the meal, we were given a choice between 3 dishes: a salmon salad, free range chicken with arugula, or spinach and cheese raviolis.  I opted for the raviolis as they sounded the best.  Boy am I glad I chose those!  Definitely delish!!!  Although I found the centers to be slightly cold.  But the sauce was phenomenal!  I also had the treat of sampling a bite of the salmon which was cooked to perfection.

When the time came for the Mommy-to-be to open her gifts, the staff was on point with setting up this contraption that looked like the frame to a laundry hamper, to which they added a garbage bag, and voila!  Instant garbage can for all the wrapping paper and boxes.

Excellent food and excellent service.  Definitely a fan!  Can't wait to enjoy some lazy Sunday afternoons here when the weather is cooler.

All the best,
SabrinaAnna*

I love going to Perricone's on Tuesdays to pick up the 2 sandwiches + 2 drinks for $10.95. We stopped making dinner on Tuesday and getting the sandwiches. The sandwiches are prepared to order with freshly made baguette, deli meats that are sliced on site and fresh veggies and cheese.

Plus, I love their gelato!! Best in the area (much better then Roma and Paciugo)!

and love the Fiocchi Gorgonzola!

Perricone's offers great quality food and excellent service (very friendly). Also recommend for a business lunch - they are pretty quick to serve the food.

Also opens on days other places are closed, like in the middle of a hurricane and Thanksgiving!

They have now added a Rewards program for their frequent customers - you get 1 point for every $ you spend...I think after $250, you get $20 free to spend. Another reason to go!

This place is an institution for a reason.

When you walk into Perricone's, you are greeted by a delicious market of fine meats, cheeses, prepared dishes, and desserts. I seriously just wanted to start eating right then and there when I saw all that goodness. But I was able to restrain myself long enough to be sat at a table.

It's tough to explain the ambiance of Perricone's to someone who's never been there. It's a cross between rustic Italian wood paneling and Miami breezy semi-outdoor relaxation. All in all, it's a huge place, but there are many nooks and crannies to have an intimate meal.

So, the food. It's great. Lunch is great. Dinner is great. Dessert is great. Do you like spaghetti and meatballs? Yeah, they make 'em good. Do you like a thick Italian sandwich? There's is splendid (and it's called the Angry Italian).  Every dish I've had at Perricone's I've savored.

By reading the reviews by now, you've heard about the $10 pasta Thursdays and the Sunday Omelette Brunch. But even other times, the prices are reasonable and the service is always strong.

Look, I'm not too picky. If you serve me very tasty Italian food in a nice place and you treat me right, you deserve 5 stars.

$10 pasta bowls on Thursdays. Ladies night on Wednesdays. Amazing brunch on Sundays.
Perricone's does a great job at giving people an excuse to check them out almost every day of the week.
I've been to Perricone's for a few events- from a bridal shower to a Mayoral event, and the food and service are always great. So if you're looking for a place to have a dinner or lunchtime event, definitely check this place out.

What a fabulous place. I stumbled upon when looking for an Italian restaurant to take my parents and I feel in love.

If the mini deli in the front doesn't get you the food inside will. The tomato "salsa" they give you with bread is fantastic. We had a great meal and a great time for a very reasonable price. The place is darling and they also had a harp player there!

Dinner is fabulous however lunch is the real star. $10 pasta Thursdays? Yes, please. Be prepared to wait as this is a hot spot. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the service is a bit slow but since the atmosphere is great you don't mind as much. Great to go for business or a date!

Really enjoyed the Sunday brunch here recently. We sat in the room with the fountain ( a fountain is always a great addition to a weekend morning) and after a teensy bit of persuasion from our server, splurged on the buffet.

It's not huge but has all the basics -- bread, bagels, pastries and fruit; potatoes, bacon and sausage; pasta salad, caprese, and salmon; and a fully manned omlet station. Everything was fresh and tasty and they kept the buffet clean and stocked.

For a Sunday brunch, it's super-reasonable and comes with a glass of OJ (no mimosa?) and coffee. The nice thing about a buffet for brunch is that you can make your meal as leisurely as you'd like, and when the atmosphere is that charming and pleasant, it's hard to find a reason to leave!

I've never been here for dinner, but we've done lunch here a couple of times.  I like it.  The antipasto appetizer is nearly a meal in itself -- cured meats, tasty cheeses & delicious olives.  Their sandwiches are great, I've had both the chicken cutlet parmigiana and the french wedge & both were worth the trip.  They have wines by the glass but it gets rather odd if you want a bottle of wine.  No wine list.  You get up, walk into the marketplace at the front, & pick out a bottle.  I guess at least that way they can never come back & tell you they're out of the wine you ordered.

Mary Brickell Village has drawn me in -- and spit me out.  I hear so many great things about this area from so many different people.  I must say, though, I am quite displeased with the actuality and reality of the situation.  I was drawn to Perricone's by the many great reviews.  Entering into the establishment, the ambiance was pleasing and we were seated quite quickly.  Our server was very quick to get to us and very quick to bring drinks and bread.

Alas, I think my taste buds were broken -- everything was sweet.  Not natural, sweet undertones but that sweet taste you get from someone adding white sugar to every dish.  Not happy; not happy at all.

For our meal we had the following items:

Unsweet Iced Tea and Coke
Bread and butter
Relish
Veal Parmesan with penne and meat sauce
Fiocchi Gorgonzola with walnuts

The very first things brought to the table were our drinks, the bread and butter, and relish.  The relish was constructed out of diced tomato, garlic, olive oil, and basil; I unfortunately cannot comment very much on this dish as the garlic overpowered everything.  I like garlic, but the only flavor present was the garlic -- the garlic burnt my mouth.  The bread was slightly warm, but was somewhat rubbery and difficult to bite or chew; the butter was frozen.  Why do restaurants serve frozen butter...WHY? It would be better to not have the butter at all!

After burning my tongue several more times on the relish -- I tried -- our entrees arrived.  I was very excited about the Fiochi as I had had a similar dish at Soya e Pomodoro several times.  I could not finish it.  The cheese sauce was saccharin sweet as was the insides of the noodle purses.  Thinking that I might be a bit biased against the Fiochi, I turned to the Veal Parmesan.  The first thing that I tasted was sweet.  The red sauce was saturated with sweetness.  I was very displeased.  I tried more of the Veal and found that the textures and taste of the Veal alone weren't bad, but the meat sauce just ruined everything.  The penne had the same issue with the red sauce that was baked into it.

I went back to the Fiochi and tried to eat a bit more, but stopped for good after eating 40% of the dish.  At about this same point, our server decided it was time to leave and we were left in the incapable hands of the rest of the restaurant -- completely forgotten about.  When I saw the bill, well, that was the nail in the coffin for me.  I won't be returning.  Had the Veal not been sweet, I would have reassessed the situation.  If you like sweet entrees, this may be the place for your Italian cravings.  I, on the other hand, have no inclination to return.

10PM -- Where to eat?

He had heard good things about Perricone.  I could only think of the skin care line of the same name.

There was no wait for a table & the kitchen doesn't close until 11, so we decided to give it a try.

The staff began our dinner with some HOT bread & tasty tomato cubes.  SO GOOD!  I dare say some of the best carbs I've ever eaten.  Totally worth breaking your Dr. Atkins diet!!

He ordered a hearty meat lasagne while I opted for the seafood linguine.  Both were good.

Service was adequate, if slow at times & requiring a little more effort to  catch eye contact.

We were seated in the fountain room -- Decorated in a rustic garden style?  Dark - Don't try to read in here.  & if you're on a date, ask to be seated in the dining room closest to the marketplace -- It's a little more formal & quiet...  Unless you think a live keyboard player on an elevated stage really enhances the mood.

In short: Come here for the food.

The dessert menu offers 14 choices which includes chocolate sushi -- Pistachios wrapped in coconut wrapped in chocolate.  Add "homemade" (Their quotation marks, not mine) gelato or sorbet to any dessert for $2.95 extra.

Validated & valet parking available.

I really like this place. It was very cozy and even though we sat outside, it was nice and cool.

We went on Thursday night -- which I highly recommend to everyone because every pasta entree is only $10!!!!

We were seated immediately and the service was pretty attentive. I had the ravioli, which was filled with spinach and ricotta cheese. My favorite part about my dish? It was green! I loveeeed that!

However, the hubs had the fettucine with filet mignon -- not that great; it had a strange taste.

Overall, I liked Perricone's -- the atmosphere was relaxed because of the foliage and the food was pretty good. I'll try it again but next time, I'll stay away from the fettucine.

Whether you eat in, take out, or order delivery Perricone's always satisfies in soo many different ways.  My Sunday afternoon gelato run always makes my body chill.  My Saturday hangover- sandwich and chips delivery always saves my day.  My Tuesday lazy night delivery always leaves me stress free.  My early morning espresso run always helps me start my day with clarity.
Perric one's gets an A+ for the following:
Gelato - not only is it good they offer a number of flavors
NY style Connoli - *WARNING* can be very addictive
Fine chocolate bar - melts in your mouth, not in your hands
Fried Calamari and Zucchini Straws - great starter
Perricone's Portobello Mushroom Torta-heavenly
Seafood Linguine- to die for
Whole Wheat Penne with Fresh Salmon-healthy alternative non-healthy flavor
Pan Seared Salmon-perfect
Filet Mignon-everything a filet should be
Fiocchi Gorgonzola-wedding of flavors
Service -consistently good, attentive, and accountable.  Greet you by your name (this is always an A+ for me)

C- and below:
Vegetable Lasagna-I couldn't eat it, tasted acidic and the flavors lingered after every bite, no combination or flow.  I would pass on this dish.
The restaurant itself has a market upon entrance where you can purchase anything from fine wine, cheeses, chocolates, gift basket containing all three, and even chocolate body paint.  This is a pretty and romantic restaurant to take a date and sit under the grand tree in the atrium.  It is also good for night out with friends, outside bar, and corporate lunches.  In any case, this restaurant can serve any need and I recommend giving it a try.

I just needed something quick and didn't have time to grab a seat so I hit up Perricone's market.

Looking over the menu I decided on the turkey meatball sandwich. While I had a few minutes, I looked around and found they had some new chocolates. Chocolates are always good but these are in the shapes of the cutest little barnyard and under the sea animals. Perfect for gifting or just indulging the little kid within.

A gourmet market in every aspect I walked out with a hot and hearty sandwich, uber-cute chocolates, and a delivery menu since delivery is free in the neighborhood.

Went there for brunch today with family from out of town. The food was awful! I couldn't believe it, really. After I raved about this place to them it was a little embarrassing. Thank buddha they didn't have the buffet. My cousin's gnocchi and her husband's fettuccine with steak were OK. Off from other times, but OK. Maybe Perricone's if finally going the way of most Miami restaurants. I hope not.

The service was spotty. Polite; but the waiter would disappear for long periods at a time. The two or three times we needed service (missing fork, more water and sugar for coffee), we had to flag other waitresses to help us.

Very disappointed. Downright worried.

I do not see what the hype is here.  Yes, they often have live music, especially for brunch.  Yes, they have a nice patio area.  But the food is just not up to par in today's day and age.  I am reviewing their lunch and dinner -- I am not reviewing their omellete brunch (which I heard is good if you like omelettes).

Perricone's looks and acts like a place that is beyond its heyday and resting on its laurels, like a washed up movie-star.

The menu at this place hasn't changed in decades.  The Italian oriented dishes are too heavily sauced.  The sandwiches are served on bread that is harder than steel (consistently).  The waitstaff are bipolar -- half are attentive and good, and the other half always just seemed pissed off.  I've been here many times over the course of the last 4 years and its always the same.

I guess I just don't understand why people like Perricone's other than the fact that it is conveniently located.  However, with more Mary Brickell restaurants opening up, I would imagine that people are not frequenting Perricone's as much anymore.

And like a washed up movie star, I think people transpose their fond memories of Perricone's from way-back-when, as opposed to seeing what the place is now, and that it has not progressed for the better.

Perhaps it could earn a few more stars if Mr. "Perricone" spent as much time focusing on the food as he does accessorizing his Bentley...

I almost walked away from a great moment in pasta history.

Miami traffic will do that kind of shit to you. It destroys your determination to secure parking, your will to live.  Finding parking becomes a test of nerves, of stamina.  Me? I don't have anything to prove to the Miami Parking Authority. I'll flee without hesitation.  I value my time and the last frayed nerve I so viciously protect.

I put aside my preference for avoiding crowds, stress, and aimlessly driving around in circles. I was wonderfully rewarded.

The brie appetizer was flaky and quite good, but the brie's flavor was obscured, instead of highlighted, by the apricot glaze. I much preferred the appetizer without it. The accompanying fruits were fresh and crisp.

But what roxored my socks was the fiocchi gorgonzola, the oft mentioned pear pasta. I've tried pear pastas several times but they have always missed the mark. Many times, the pear is not part of the actual pasta, but simply added into the sauce or used as a garnish.  I was obviously undeterred by all these disappointing occurrences because I went for it again.

It tasted like that scene where the androgynous, sexy boy and the doe-eyed girl [or same sex, for all you lgbt-ers out there] run towards one another in a nondescript but enchanting field and the wheat, wild flowers, and dandelions sway in the breeze, seemingly parting for the ardent lovers to reach one another just a split second sooner.  The second bite tastes like that, too. But with less clothes.

$10.00 pasta night on Thursdays??  What a deal!

We came here last night to celebrate my mom's birthday.  We were a group of 9 plus 2 babies.  They seated us quickly on the patio.  There was a live jazz band playing upstairs and the waiter quickly came by to take our drink orders.  He came back a few minutes later with water for everyone, which we didn't have to ask for...a plus in my book.

We had the mozzarella caprese with prosciutto to start along with their bread and bruschetta topping.  Delicious!

I ordered the seafood linguine.  It comes with shrimp, mussels, scallops, and calamari.  It normally comes with a "scampi" sauce but I asked for their pomodoro sauce instead.  My dish was very good with a generous helping of seafood...the calamari was a little rubbery, but the rest was great.  They make a really good fresh pomodoro sauce, so I didn't regret replacing the scampi sauce with it.

We ordered two of their chocolate desserts: The chocolate house cake and the chocolate truffle mousse torte.  The house cake was good, and the chocolate truffle mousse tort tasted like espresso and chocolate...one of my favorite combinations!

The only downside was the heat.  Since we were on the covered patio, it was SO HOT even though they had fans and A.C. running out there.  The service was good, and I know I'll be back.

I went back to Perricone's this Saturday before a long evening at Transit Lounge. The friends that I was with had never been to Perricone's, but each one of them walked out a definitive repeat customer, and I can almost guarantee they'll be telling their friends about it. For starters, the service we received was top notch. At no point were we in need of anything, nor did we ever feel smothered or rushed to leave. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and we all felt sufficiently full and undoubtedly satisfied by the time we left the table.

I didn't have too much of an appetite, so I decided to forego the Fiocchi Gorgonzola that I've been dreaming about and try the Perricone's Organic Salad instead. The fresh arugula blended very well with the toasted walnuts and perfectly portioned gorgonzola, and I would recommend the salad to anyone who wants to keep it simple and minimally sinful. As far as dining experiences go, I say with full conviction that Perricone's really is as good as it gets.

OK..so let me see how I start this one so my family stops making fun of me...WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! went here last night with hubby, sister in law, Ivonne C and her hubs Emilio.  Ivonne has been raving about this place for ever and insisting we go together on a Thursday for their $10 pasta and, let me tell you, WOW!!! was she right!!! I had made reservations for 7:30pm but, things got a bit complicated during the day and I called, late in the afternoon, to let them know we were going to be late and the guy said "no problem".  We finally get there at about 745pm and Ivonne and Emilio had been there already for a bit enjoying a drink.

We get seated immediately by our host.  We are given a very nice corner table and the music was right on top of us...YES! it's the coolest thing, the live band is on a top floor that is open to the table are, awesome.  Gino, our waiter, was very nice and attentive, extremely helpful and not overwhelming at all.  He was there when we needed him and not there when we didn't.  We ordered the baked brie en croute as appetizer and OMG it was heavenly, we ate every bit of it and we even scraped the plate with our bread so that no sauce was left behind...mmm...mmm.

Then our entrees arrived and WOW!! again.  I had been "told" to eat the Fiocchi Gorgonzola which is a purse shaped pasta with fresh pear and gorgonzola cheese filling served with a walnut gorgonzola sauce. Let me tell you something, it was WONDERFUL! i hated the fact that I couldn't eat all of my little pear purses :( but there is always next Thursday.  Hubby and Emilio ordered the fettucini with sliced fillet mignon and they very much enjoyed it.  My sister in law went outside the pasta menu and ordered the cashew encrusted salmon served over spinach with strawberries, tossed in a chipotley key lime vinaigrette.

All in all....the place is totally adorable with it's little store in the front, the amazing looking sweets and cheeses, the service was wonderful and the food was AMAZING!!! Can't wait for our next Thursday night at Perricone's.

I was back there again last night, and I have some news to yelp about.  Every Thursday at Perricone's is $10 pasta Thursday.  Every single pasta on the menu (except for chicken parm, for some reason) is only $10.  Linguini with seafood...$10.  Fettucini with sliced filet mignon...$10.  A whole bunch of other wonderful pasta dishes...$10.

At their normal prices, Perricone's is a very good 4 1/2 star place.  On pasta Thursdays, it might just be a five.

Long overdue review. Perricone's receives high marks for its:
- Beautiful outdoor atmosphere. I know Miami has it's beautiful locations, but the outdoor dining was a tropical oasis delicately lined with white Christmas lights. It was packed when I was here with others for a UYE, but not too loud that we couldn't hear each other's conversations.
- Brie appetizer is clearly something Greek gods and goddesses would feast off of. It is surrounded by fresh fruits, (the grapes were HUGE!) apricot glaze, and almonds. You'll feel like you're on cloud nine after eating it.
- $10 Pasta Thursdays = a true steal for those looking for delicious food and an equally great price!

The waitress we had was a bit stuffy. She had a problem splitting our check initially and had a bit of an attitude when Maria told her (well in advance) that it would be separate checks. Thankfully the waitress obliged and all was well. Definitely coming back here in the future. Just expect to wait a while when you arrive, it's well worth it though!

My best friend invited me to have lunch with her one day while she was working and I wasn't... she brought me to Perricone's and my love for this place has only quadrupled since then!

From the bruschetta to the main courses, dessert and beyond to the service Perricone's is one of the most humble and yummy places placed right in the center of Miami's more elitist neighborhoods.

My all time favorite thing to eat there is the Fiocchi w/Pear!

For our last night in Miami, I really wanted to go to Ceviche 109.  I had done all my Yelping homework and I was looking forward to a big platter of marinated fish.  When we got in the cab and gave the driver the address, he refused to take us there, saying it was in a bad neighborhood.

It's not...but after arguing the a**hole for about 5 minutes he drove onto the expressway and finally left us at a collection of restaurants in the Brickell.

This was NOT what I had in mind.  A conglomeration of chain restaurants (Rosa Mexicano) or trendy cocktail lounges (Delores) masquerading as a restaurant.  Thank God for my iPhone Yelp App!

A quick survey of the land yielded that we should go to Perricone's for dinner.

In a word, spectacular.  You enter through the small market place.  It was getting rather late so our wait for a table was not long.  We were then ushered through the romantic and candlelit dining room to the patio area.   A huge space under the trees, the stars and twinkle lights.

We started with the Burrata Mozzarella and Prosciutto appetizer.  Pure heaven on a plate.  Like a great big scoop of Ice cream the cheese was freshly flown in from Italy and as soft and creamy as you can imagine.

Salads followed.

For entrees, I had the Grilled Tuna with Citrus Salsa.  Perfectly grilled medium rare piece of Ahi Tuna, with a snappy citrus salsa.  It was served with grilled asparagus and a nice wild rice pilaf.

The dining partner in crime had the Chicken Parmesan, a favorite of his.
Both entrees were expertly prepared, generous in portion and quite delicious.

For dessert:  I had the Triple Chocolate cake, a blend of chocolate ganache, tiramisu and chocolate mousse cake all smashed together in one heaving mass of chocolate decadence.  Quite nice with an Illy espresso.  We should have split it but the dining partner in crime wanted his own dessert.  He got the Banana cake, which was simply outrageously good.

Service was stellar, and while I wouldn't say that Perricone's has the best food I've ever tasted, or the best service, it's one of those places where the sum is greater than the parts.  It was the perfect cap to a great visit in Miami and I wouldn't hesistate to send anyone there, or return myself.

What can I say, excellent all around!  I have heard this is one of the better Italian restaurants around, so I finally went.  I had pretty high expectations based on reviews, etc, so my only concern was that my expectations were too high.

Regardless, it met all my expectations.  The food, location, and the service was 5 star caliber.

The patio was excellent, and the fans are added bonus on warm Miami night, the ambiance was very soothing and romantic.

The food was also excellent.  All of us enjoyed their meal and their house Chianti was a pleasant surprise.  Our waiter was attentive and had a good personality and made us feel welcome.

I will definitely return as I heard they have a special for pasta dishes on Thursday night.

Had lunch here yesterday and ordered Gnocchi in a pink cream sauce.  Gnocchi was excellent and tasted like it was freshly made.  Complimentary bread with tomato bruschetta topping came with the meal.  Service was very good and attentive. Overall lunch was very satisfying.

I Love them... I Love them not.

I love Perricone's for lunch, no one makes a better chicken salad sandwich... period! I love Perricone's on Thursdays when they serve up a whole day of $10 pasta dishes, the seafood linguine rocks it every time.

I love them NOT on Sundays when it's brunch time. Unfortunately, they're selection for brunch just lacks.

$10 pasta..sweeeeeet! and that's exactly what my pear and Gorgonzola stuffed purse-shaped pasta was. OMG - que delicia - I think it was the best pasta I've had in a long while. And after starting the night with probably the best brie appetizer ever, I just knew we were going to have a perfect night.

I've been to Perricone's for family dinners, Sunday brunch, 20+ person birthday parties, and last night I had the pleasure of being one of Jose Luis's seven dates. Every time I've been to this restaurant the service has been excellent, and the food just right. Last night they were playing beautiful music, and as I walked to the bathroom I looked up to see two men playing an upright bass and a keyboard, that melodious perfect mood-setting music was live - how much more romantic can you get?!?!?

When I crossed the threshold taking me from the quietness of the marketplace into the dinning room the bustle of voices, clinking glasses and silverware made me feel like I had entered an entirely different world. An indoor patio with beautiful vegetation all around, makes it private, dark, and yet so lively - for a moment it felt like I wasn't in a city.

I can't wait to go back with other friends and family to enjoy the dining experience at Perricone's. No matter what you're celebrating, why you're there, or what you want to eat - you are guaranteed a great time.

It was raining but the outside patio was all enclosed and our table was pretty dry, they even have A/C out in the patio.  Very nice lighting, by xmas lights.  The music was live, two guys playing some romantic background guitar lullabies.  We ordered the appetizer that everyone recommends here, the baked brie...it was so good, but I'd order it as dessert next time.  Very sweet.  Everyone enjoyed their food, except for me.  I ordered the cashew encrusted salmon and it wasn't very good.  We celebrated a birthday and they sang to us.

Happy Hour on weekdays....

the happy hour deals change throughout the week.

Wednesdays, it's 3-free glasses of wine( red, white, prosecco (italian champagne), bellini) for ladies with the purchase of a meal.

Thursdays, it's $10 for a pasta dinner, for most of the dinners (just not the filet one, i think)

and on both days, at the bar on the patio, drinks are 1/2 price, at $5-6 dollars for a great strong mixed drink. and the bartender is pretty generous and will fix any drink you don't like the taste of. maybe it's cuz we were girls, or maybe cuz he's just a good bartender. but he was pretty sweet.

the Baked Brie appetizer is great. it comes with brown sugar and almonds. we always happen to order it when we go.

shrimp capellini (sp?) is great too. The pasta dishes are so big, it will feed 2 girls, or feed you for another meal. (maybe not for the guys though. they all polished their plates every time i've gone).

Vegetarian Lasagna... this was decent. not the best i've ever had... but decent. and when they say the plate is hot... believe them! The marinara that it was baked in was a bit on the more acidic side to be enjoyable... but some people like that sort of thing.

Worth going to, especially at happy hour. :)

(PS - valet is only 5 dollars, when you bring your ticket in for stamping.)

I was here for my cousin's rehearsal dinner. I liked the ambiance. The setting that was away from the crowd behind that little wall in the middle. The fans along the air conditioner also helped because it was a very warm outside. Ralph particularly liked that.

Hordourves at the cocktail hour were (in courtesy of a worker):

*Pistacchio Crusted Lollypop lamb Chops, served with Mint Jelly:
I haven't had lamb chops for a while and I used to eat them back in Turkey... They were delicious, especially with the pistacchio I skipped the jelly, though, felt like eating clear toothpaste with it.

*Chicken Satay, with peanut dipping sauce:
I absolutely swooned over this one. The sauce that I dipped this chicken satay was very peanut-y rather than saucy, which was good.

*Coconut Crusted Shrimp, with an Asian plum dipping sauce
I'm not a fan of coconut mixed with other things (always liked it alone), but it was okay. Interesting way to mix the tiny seafood, fruity sauce along with flakes of coconut.

*Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna on a Crispy Wonton, with wasabi & soy-ginger glaze:
I definitely picked these up whenever they were around me.. MMM, fell over the heels with the soy and ginger touching my taste buds.

- Rolled Grilled Veggies, Stuffed with Goat Cheese:
The combination I look for when I'm slurping down my drink. Some dairy and   greens are the way to go!

The dinner was consisted of either pasta fish with sauteed shrimp, grilled chicken, or grilled skirt steak. I picked the grilled chicken, however, I didn't really want to eat it all. Maybe it was from eating too much bruschetta before this, or I didn't find the taste of this meat that day very friendly. The dessert I had was their tiramisu,  which was absolutely (yes, that word again) delicious, especially if you're into the coffee taste with cream. I don't know how to describe it, but it was delightful.

When I had to get up to use the restroom, I had to take a long walk around and had discovered the mini marketplace by them. It was nice. The bakery looked heavenly.

I don't know if it was because it was a special event, but I was impressed at all of this. Except maybe for the penne with grilled chicken entree.

Awesome place to come have lunch in Brickell, or a nice brunch/lunch during the weekend.

Pretty much everything on the menu is good. They also have Mischa's cupcakes.

There's also a marketplace with lots of cool stuff for sale.

Perricone's needs another review like I need a hole in my head, but I've got to give it props.

The story can't be any more romantic and nostalgic.  Established by Steven Perricone he started by locating a 300 year old barn in Vermont then having it dissassembled, shipped and rebuilt in downtown Miami.  Do I have your attention yet?  Just as the building was a labor of love, so too is every item on the menu that eventually finds its way onto your table.  The place doesn't cut corners and is so committed to quality, that they import all the "good stuff" and offer it for sale in their marketplace store.

I won't go on and on over the food as there are tons of reviews on the place of varying types, but you can probably see my tendency to give extra props for their dedication to the gastronomic sciences.  Everyone else may have written about the food and the service and that's all fine by me, but this establishment is more an Italian eatery, it is a landmark in every sense and one that I'll leave out some of the details in the hopes that you'll discover the unexpected whenever it is you choose to visit.

Check out their website if you like:

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!
First and foremost I feel like family walking into the market. I know the owner by first name, the GM, the Catering Director as well as the kitchen staff, again, on a first name basis.
I had my college graduation party here a few years ago and will recommend this place for a big party or even something as small as date night.
The servers are all terrific. I must say that my graduation party hosted some fairly hard to please people (my brother and my mom!) The server noted everyone by their first name and memorized their orders, no writing down anything!! And trust me, it was complicated. Not only did our food come out in a reasonable time, it came out PERFECT. No slip ups, no mistakes, no putting food in front of the wrong person. This server remembered EVERYTHING! Even Steven the owner came and sat with us for a while!
The food is some of the best that I have every encountered! Quality quality quality! No cheap substitutes, only the best.
Price is moderate, not cheap, but not too expensive.
Outside bar is very nice to sit out and enjoy people watching. Dining inside also has a retractable patio, so inside can easily become outside.
History of the restaurant is interesting as the owner had a barn disassembled and reused the material in the restaurant. Just interesting.
Check out the market for really beautiful gift baskets, which by the way can be custom ordered.
In the market there is also home-made Gelato. I have only come across a very few true Gelato machines. Go ahead and ask for a sample and you will see why this stuff is so good.
There are specials almost every day of the week. I know that on Tuesdays the market sells their custom sandwiches and subs two for the price of one. It is called Two for Tuesdays. I also know that they do an entree dinner called Ten for Ten. Ten entrees, ten dollars each. Very reasonable. Especially for the quality of the food, which by the way is not at all compromised for the price.
Save room for the sweets! Plenty of yummy Italian pastries and stuff to choose from!
I completely, without a doubt recommend this restaurant - and like I said in the beginning, I wish I could give it 10 stars!
Make sure you order a Baked Brie as an appetizer, you will NOT be disappointed!

Brunch is my favorite meal of the day, and this is one of the better places to have it. The Sunday brunch on the patio comes complete with a band and enough food to keep you full until dinner (maybe even through dinner if you overdo it.). Have an omelet or five. Dish up some pasta. Toss in a bagel. And have a glass of freshly squeezed OJ. Then go back for more. You can also order a la carte, which I did. Go for the brie. It's ooey gooey goodness in apricot sauce, covered in toasted almonds and brown sugar and surrounded by fruit. It's pretty and pretty tasty, kind of like the restaurant itself.

One of my favorite places in Miami. Everything about this place is wonderful!
First of all, this place was located in Mary Brickell Village before all the other late comers arrived.
A very casual, laid back, cozy and beautiful decoration. Every area in the restaurant and store has its own charm.
The service and food have always been excellent. I have eaten here more than 10 times, every single time I ordered something different and loved it! The salads are  incredibly fresh and there is something for every pallet.
This place is great for a big group of friends or for a couple.
The only down side is that most of the time you have to wait for a table, but it is completely worth your time.
What are you waiting to go there?

The Brie appetizer is heaven on a plate. I have been known to consume the entire thing at one sitting. Sigh. I had to run like ten miles the next day to burn the calories but it was sooooo worth it.
Their lunch specials are ridiculously great. $11 for two ginormous sandwiches with sodas is my favorite. I'll be stopping by today for sure. Yum! And I love their chocolate chip cookie. Ok so maybe perricones is responsible for the weight I always have to lose. LOL.

really 3.5. but i rounded up bc of wed ladies night!!

all the college roommates try to get together once a month for dinner and catch up and we have been religiously good about it! tonights pick was perricones.

we got there about 745 and were seated promptly. we talked so long the waiter had to interrupt to take our order. the brie appetizer was melt in your mouth oooey goooey goodness!! the antipasto was good but nothing to rave about. we ordered salads, salmon, pork chops, and pastas. everything was delicious, except one of the pasta dishes had water at the bottom of the bowl ( i guess they didnt drain pasta enough)
the best part of the meal was 3 free drinks for each lady who orders an entree. that would be all 5 of us --  your choice of red, white, prosecco, or bellini. awesome deal!!

the waiter seemed to disappear every now and then but we didnt mind bc we were having such a great time. just getting a water refill was kinda annoying. but he made up for it by offering to validate our valet tickets, we didnt even have to ask. :)
