This Perkins is not rated 4 for for the food, which is pretty horrible, but for the atmosphere and that it is one of the few relatively civilized places that you can go in the middle of the night underaged.
Since the midway ones stopped being open 24 hours a day because of the maniacs that would come through, many of the people from the core of the cities come all the way out here after bars close and before to hang out with friends, study, and whatever else.
The Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota is a couple miles down the road, some many of the agriculture and botany students may be found here at all hours.
