Excellent interaction from start to finish. The closets were well designed, well built and the installation was great. I will contract them again if I ever finish the remaining closets. Highly recommend.

It's probably pretty obvious by the # of boutique reviews I've yelped about...I love to shop. And my love of shopping results in A LOT of clothing, shoes, purses, etc. Fortunately, our new condo has plenty of closet space to keep my shopping habit healthy. However, all the closets were just big open spaces with one hanging rod...no shelves, no drawers, etc. If we kept it like this I had a feeling we were going to end up with a lot of purses, clothes, shoes, etc on the floor. Well, at least my husband's clothes and shoes after all my stuff took over the closet. :)
I asked around about closets and everyone told me California closets were extremely expensive and to check out elfa at the container store. I checked out elfa and thought it could be a good option, but when I priced it out it was going to cost me a few thousand dollars and didn't look nearly has pretty as the closets I had seen at California closets.
Then our Realtor suggested we check out Perfection Closets who had done some work for some of her previous clients. She claimed they were not only very good, but affordable too! I placed a call and they had Brad, a closet designer, out at my new place within days. Brad asked me what our needs were and did a bunch of measuring in our master closet. And he also showed me a few examples of closets they'd done in the past- he even pointed out Vince Vaughn's closet and being a lover of US Weekly I was excited. Hey, if it's good enough for Vince...it's good enough for us.
While Brad was there I decided to show him our ginormous storage room (over 200 sq ft) that's attached to the 3rd bedroom in our condo. Brad got really excited over the room and minutes later I was convinced to build this out as well.
A week later I had 2 designs from Brad- one for the master bedroom closet and one for the storage unit. It was pretty much exactly what we wanted, but we did some tweaking to the designs (added a built in hamper to the master bedroom closet, upgraded to the dark cherry wood, and added some cabinets to the storage closet). And I found the price to be reasonable because each closet was only a few hundred dollars more than what I had priced out for elfa at the container store yet looked like it cost thousands more.
We scheduled a day for 2 guys to come build the closets....I thought it would take way more than a day, but they were done within 6 hours. And the finished product was just "perfect"; my husband and I were oohing and aaahing over both closets. The dark cherry wood was just beautiful in the master closet and they even added in all these little hooks that are so useful! Brad thought of everything!! And now that I'm moving all our crap in I'm so happy we have those extra hanging areas and cabinets in the storage room. Especially after receiving so many wedding presents within the past few months!

I learned about Perfection Custom Closets through a Yelp forum recommendation, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience with them. The owner, Tim, was super friendly and helpful when he stopped by to check out the space we wanted redone (bedroom closet). I was so impressed that I asked him to work up a plan for our living room closet on the fly. He was thoughtful about our needs there, taking into account the fact that we usually store an unwieldy bike rack and all sorts of cycling accessories in there.
Tim submitted a design for both closets a couple days later. The bedroom closet component was priced slightly below a competitor's similar design (I didn't have the competitor evaluate the living room closet). Plus the competitor was a no-call/no-show for their first appointment with me, took much longer to get back to me after the initial consultation, and honestly, their representative just wasn't as personable and considerate as Tim.
After tweaking the living room closet design slightly, we scheduled the install for a couple weeks later. It went off without a hitch. The two installers (didn't catch their names, unfortunately) were courteous, quick, and clean. (My only complaint is that they didn't call before they came, so we woke up to the doorbell.) The finished product is wonderful. Tim even called a couple days after the job was done to make sure everything went smoothly. I've never felt so organized! -

The installer was friendly, professional, showed up on time and was done before noon. No mess to clean up whatsoever, and no damage to my freshly painted walls. (Thanks, Orlando!)
Sure, you're going to pay some money, but would you rather drive out to Schaumburg, fight lingonberry-eating crowds, get stuck in traffic on 90, then spend another day staring at Swedish instructions while sitting on your closet floor surrounded by parts, realizing you forgot to bring the laser level up from the basement? Not I.
This was my 2nd closet from Perfection, and it was a smooth sale - I went in to pick the finish & hardware options and accessories, and Bradley in no time designed a great closet with a place for everything - shelves, drawers, double hang space... I actually even have an empty shelf after I moved back in. Brad made a few no-hassle edits to the plans and had me scheduled for installation within a week. Done. -

We thought we would save money by ordering the materials for our master closets online and then installing the systems ourselves, but I quickly realized that we just didn't have the time to do the work. I thought we would end up paying twice as much finding a local company who could do the job for us, but Perfection Closets proved me wrong.
Not only did their price (for materials AND installation) beat the online materials-only price, but their service is both professional and friendly. And we had our closets installed in less than two weeks from the time I first called!
Both the estimator (Brad) and the installer (sorry I don't remember his name but boy was he nice and tidy!) were very accomodating. If you're in the Chicagoland area (I'm not sure how far they work) you owe it to yourself to at least call them and get an estimate. -

My partner and I recently worked with Perfection Closets to get a custom closet designed for our large walk-in closet. Brad responded promptly and came by and took measurements and then said he'd design something and send it our way in a few days. Got the design and we had a couple changes and he VERY quickly incorporated the changes and send new designs. We decided on the updated designs and scheduled the installation. Installers worked quickly and knew what they were doing. I got home from work and was very impressed with the new closet! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a custom closet design.

I highly recommend Perfection Closets. You never know how a service provider will be these days. They have a great process and totally delivered. The designer scheduled an appointment with great flexibility, was prompt, efficient and knowledgable. She gave us great options that absolutely met our needs.
The installer arrived exactly when they said he would. He was very efficient and was able to solve a problem on the fly (the cable hookup went through the closet and required a slight change in the size of sliding baskets). He cleaned up nicely afterwards.
The quality of the materials they used is great and with installation was a very good value relative to what we would have done. Most of all it was so EASY for us to have it done.
I didn't think a closet could change my life. But the before and after inspire me to actually keep things neat.
