Neighborhood: West SeattleI SCREAM FOR ICECREAM!!!
Since I was fresh out of highschool this was the place we'd grab our bites while hanging out at Alki Beach with friends all day long because we had nothing else better to do. And here I am surely creeping towards being 30 and I still enjoy the spot. I'm not much of a hamburger person but there are other items here to order then a hamburger, like ICECREAM!!!! i scream for ICECREAM!!!! definately craving for Bubblegum Icecream right this minute.
The best burger when I'm in Alki beach, Burgers hit the spot and are tasty, A little dingy but the burgers are worth it. They have mayo for fries if you are so inclined. The kitchen staff have personalities of a wet blanket but they got good burgers!
Food is mediocre at best, greasy tables and chairs, dark decor, poor service, no kids menu.
Maybe "everyone" has rats but this place has good number of those black bait boxes....and it just ruins my appetite. So last visit I opted for ice cream (yep, back in the day I could make ice cream a bonafide meal....today, not so much.)
When I told the Korean owner the ice cream had bad freezer burn he said , "what do you expect....this has been sitting here since last season". (well, I guess you gotta appreciate his honesty! Reminder to self, send Dale Carnegie book to Pepperdocks owner for Xmas.)
I much prefer Slices right next door.
The burgers here are pretty standard stuff. I ordered the "King" burger and was a bit surprised when the burger was of average size with a very thin patty, probably one of the thinner 'factory" patties I've seen on a burger. The veggies, cheese, and bacon were decent and are what contributed to most of the flavor of the burger. The beef patty seemed to only occupy space. Ultimately, I left wanting more from the burger. I probably won't be back. Location-wise, it's a great place to eat being near the beach scene. The interior has a certain charm, though, it might repel those of you that like a bright super-clean interiors.
yesterday we went here for some ice creme. the day before we went here for some burgers. the burgers were great, and it has a nice beach side feel. it even has a bike rack in front! i have been here maybe four times now, but this was the first time i tried the burgers, which come with lettuce and tomato and are a reasonable price. you get to add your own ketchup and mustard, and even extra mayo if you want! i got extra pickles..oh, and both times we went there this weekend, Ben got a MALT. they take a little bit, but they ARE malts. sit in front if you like to laugh at little kids doing the "Ice Cream dance" in front of the case.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. It's the epitome of your typical greasy beach spot. They have a bunch of fried things, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fish and chips and a few other greasy fried items I can't remember but I don't go for that. I go for their ice cream it's the best down on the beach, always a line but well worth the wait when you're looking for an icy cold treat while hanging out on the beach. Grab a cone or get a shake than continue to walk down Alki it makes for a great evening trust me on this one.

Three words folks: bubblegum ice cream!
Yup. Pepperdock has it. The blue one; not the pink. Visit on a warm day and evoke your childhood memories of ice cream running down your face, hand, mouth, shirt and pants til' your heart's content. Eating a cone on a hot day is work!
If you're perusing Alki and looking for cheap and delicious eats and where all the cool kids hang, then this is your place. It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't be fooled; they have kick yourself good burgers, fries, shakes and ice cream cones.
Nothing like filling your belly to the gills, then laying out on the beach in that polka-dot bikini; hawt!

Now run by a Korean family, this place has burgers that rival Red Mill, and the fries are some of the best in town.
Years back this was quite a dump: bad burgers, dull employees, clear signs they had a rat problem. Now, very tasty burgers, super tasty fries, nice ice cream shakes, and no signs of rats. I do worry a little about the mayo bottles just sitting out all day (they need a little tray of ice to keep them cool), I also liked it better when they sold Husky deli ice cream. oh well.

Best burger in Seattle. Close second would be Redmill. O-rings are excellent.

A decent place to grab something to eat while over wandering Alki Beach. For only a few bucks you can grab a burger, veggie burger or chicken sandwich. And they also have the regular beach-type fare of fish and chips.
The burgers were actually really decent and mine wasn't too greasy. Also you can grab a whole wheat bun too, very nice. Nothing fancy and nothing fantastic but a decent comfort meal.

Whenever I go to Alki, I like to pretend I'm in a totally different place altogether...it just doesn't feel like I'm in West Seattle, or Washington for that matter-it feels like southern California. And whenever I go to a beach in southern California, I make it a point to get some sort of nasty, greasy meal to eat while I'm crisping in the sun. Point being: the Pepperdock satisfies that particular need.
It's your typical burger joint with all the fixings. Burgers, fries, o-rings, shakes, ice cream, sandwiches, etc. I was especially intrigued by the 'shrimp burger.' I just don't quite know how I feel about that. I like to get the 'King Burger Deluxe' (or something like that). You get a cheeseburger, fries, and a few onion rings, and it won't put you back more than 5 buckaroos.
The restaurant looks a little dingy from the outside, but rest assured it is clean on the inside. Overall a great place to get a burger, fries, and a soda so you can walk a few feet and park yourself in the sand and stuff your face.

this place HAS to be in the most perfect location. right smack in the middle of the strip, where all the people really hang out and socialize. Pepperdock is historical... it's been there for so long, everyone knows where and what it is. the food is delicious, the pricing is fair, and people watching is so much fun!
