I called Pep Boys' corporate last year to let them know just how suspect this location/staff is.

Those scenes in movies, where it's time to pay the mechanic and says, "How much you got?" That's true of here.

Go to Pep Boys at 8a.m. some morning, and you'll see troubled motorists lined up at the doors like fiends waiting for crack. When staff apathetically turns the key at 8:07a.m., a frenzy begins of customers clawing for "do my car first."

The staff here knows NOTHING about cars, and they prey on poor people, and charge three times what the independent guys do. I refuse to return here, and I'd pay to have my car towed somewhere before I let these morons tighten a lug nut.
