Hey come on, folks...what are you expecting to get for a meal that costs 8 bucks? This place is great for a quick faux-asian meal. And, for the record, it's not supposed to be the same exact food as PF Chang's! The cool lettuce wraps are served at both locations, but the menus are actually somewhat different. I personally enjoy the lettuce wraps. Bits of chicken, mushrooms, & water chestnuts finely chopped and immersed in a tasty concoction that is so high in sodium, it makes me wake up at 2 am thinking I have been walking for days in the Sahara desert! Now, I ask you....What is so wrong with that!?

There is not logic to this, but I like having a Pei Wei close by even though I barely go there. The food is tasty--same recipes as PF Changs. It's hardly healthy and it's gargantuan on the calories (it's cool that they post nutrutional info on their website), so I split a single potion into three meals or so. By the time I am done with it, it loses most of its flavor. Oh well. Mostly, I stick with the wonton soup and lettuce wraps.

Not quite P.F. Chang's despite a similar menu and corporate parent, but I'm not a huge Chang's fan anyway. Food is decent, prices a little higher than other Chinese places around town. My wife is nuts about lettuce wraps, which is the main reason we occasionally go to Pei Wei. They do have take-out and the location is convenient.

Supposedly this is the same exact food as you'd get at P.F. Chang's, but for some reason at this location it just doesn't taste very good. We have tried several different entrees on the menu on different days and something was lacking. Disappointing because it seems like there aren't very many Asian food options (besides Chinese) in this area.
The prices are a bit overblown for the amount of food you get as well.
