I have my love/hate relationship with peets. When they get it right the coffee is kickass.. nice bold and smooth. But sometime I get a funky tasting one. I like it that they are always willing to remake it for you. But some time I need to rush to work and doesn't take the first taste until I hit the gas pedal and then I curse the bad cup of coffee all the way until I finish it.
OH and why won't they order more BEAR CLAWWWWWSsssss, I love em' but have to come at 6am to ensure to get one.
Coming back from a rousing drive on Calaveras Road (up in the hills), I decided to edit my photos over an iced tea at Peet's. The store is nice and large, with plenty of seating. The music is soothing and the staff is friendly. I'll definitely be back here.

Nice big Peet's-must be the new set up of all new locations. Ample seating inside and out-decent friendly service.

I'm not a habitual coffee drinker although I'll order one or two every now and then for the instant tweak factor. If any coffee house can instantaneously get you tweakin from one tall cup it will be Peet's Coffee. G-damn they've got ridiculous steroid injected beans!
This should deserve five stars because it does keep me alert all day long at work but I have to knock two stars because at work my gestures are questionable amongst my colleagues when they see that my head is physically stuttering and I'm multi-tasking my multi-tasking.
Great coffee, wonderful cheery staff! I love their major dickinson blend.....mmmm. Their quality is definitely WAYYYY better than starbucks.
I was introduced to their americano with non fat vanilla - no sugar or cream needed and it's so refreshing.
best cafe to sit and read / write in Milpitas.
Now this place doesn't have free internet and stuff.. which actually can be a good thing, cuz It's a Grind, as much as i love that place also, is always packed w/people with their laptop. But here at Petes, the best thing about it is the music. I aint some freak for classical or anything, but it's music I can tolerate while I read or write.
Oh, they now have a pretty darn good sugarfree mocha.... mmm ...

I am so glad they opened a Peets nearby. Not a big fan of thier coffees, however I love thier teas. I order an iced Sencha Green Tea. When in season I get the Hibiscus Breeze Iced Cooler. They always keep the store clean which is a big plus.
I love Peets. I use to drink Starbucks because they are on every corner. But once I tried Peets I was hooked. Besides the fact that they have normal sizes. Small, Medium and Large, the coffee is good and the White Mocha's (my drink of choice) are way better and less bitter than Starbucks! I am so glad they put one in Milpitas. When they first opened I think I was there 3 times a week.
I'm writing this review in honor of my Grandma who passed away last night. She loved her coffee. I don't think she knew specifically about Peet's, but coffee was coffee to her and growing up, every time we went out to eat, she and my Grandpa would order their coffee.
A few of my close similar aged friends, sister, cousins' and baby got together and we all met here after having our own lunches. The inside of this location was large and full, we took all the outside tables and chairs and put them in the sun. It had been years since we had all been together in the same room -- all at once. We are family. We grew up together.
Thanks for giving us a trustworthy location to gather and reminisce as a family over coffee.
The customer service here is great, even if I was slightly zoned while ordering four drinks, it was all good. We were probably there for over a couple hours. There's also a waterfall on the side of the front, great place for taking pictures together.

Yipeee! I agree with everyone that Peet's is a good addition to the Milpitas Town Center. The environment is soothing and inviting - makes you want to just sit, relax, savor your coffee and browse through the paper. I could pass idle time here - no problem.

I'm so happy there's a Peet's in Milpitas! Servers are very friendly and I love the way they make my drinks. Seating is comfy and the place is really clean. Too bad they're hidden in the back, and there's no big sign outside to advertise...
I can't access the 'free' wifi that others mentioned though. The connection I got asked me to pay $3.95 per hour, which worked fine. For free Wifi, you have to go to It's a Grind, or go into the library or City Hall.
Child's hot cocoa should always be warm, not hot.
I'm so happy they opened a Peets near to me!!! I am studying for the biggest exam of my life and Peets iced coffee is my saving grace. Peets is my fav coffee, it's strong, dark, and full of caffeine!

As I sit typing in this Peet's about Peet's, I'm admiring the dark wooden furniture and marble tables. It really is a nice-looking stores, actually the decor is pretty much like all the other Peet's I've been to. The staff is friendly. The tea is yummy and as Melissa said the mochas beat the Starbuck's ones next door any day.
Only thing: unisex bathroom with low water pressure = PROBLEM!
Of course, I love Peet's! They have the yummiest chocolate covered blueberries, and the tea (don't drink coffe) is hot hot hot. The people watching during the weekday is pretty happenin' with the local office workers coming in/out.

the espresso drinks are consistently flavorful and delicious! there is nothing worse than a bad cup of coffee made by a barista that doesn't care. thankfully, i don't ever have to worry about that at peet's.

Brand new Peets Coffee in the revamped shopping area next to new Safeway. The mocha here is AWESOME. The quality really depends on the barista, and the one employed here is top-notch. I used to prefer Starbucks' mocha because the Peets I've tried at Rivermark, Cupertino, and Mtn View were mediocre and slow...
This one is the BEST. They should give her (the barista) a RAISE.
The pastry here is good too, very fresh. The seating is well designed, and since it's brand new, very clean and comfy. Let's hope it stays this way.
Wokers are nice, Free (slow and unsecured) wi-fi, Can't say much for the bitter espresso drinks, but it's usually quiet although they LOVE playing the music really loud here. Bring Earplugs.
As for their drinks, like I said, they are bitter but have a smooth consistency. They have a technique about their drinks that makes it unique, however in my personal taste I do not like it. They're not bad, it's just not to my liking.
This Peets location is definitely my favorite. It's as close to where I work as the Rivermark location is, but easier to get to because it's just off 237. Not only that, but unlike the location at Rivermark, it's never crowded.
The baristas at this location are AMAZING. I worked in a coffee shop for a little bit, and it takes a really good cappuccino or iced americano to impress me, but they have managed to do it here. I've literally never had a bad drink from this location.
I never have my coffee at the shop, but it's very clean and looks great on the inside.
mmmm waaaaaaaay better than starbucks!
