Neighborhood: Pearl DistrictSteamy sweet luscious soy latte.
This is the only way to start the day. I am a bit of a coffee connoisseur in part because I worked as a barista (making my own drinks). This location provides consistently well-made drinks including nicely steamed milk with plenty of foam.
The soy milk is not as sweet as the soy milk that Starbucks uses and the shots of espresso seem a little stronger. This Peets is also really small with very few places to sit, but its a great place to get your fix to go.

This cozy little coffee shop has become part of my daily routine in the Pearl. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful when selecting the perfect coffee beans to take home with me. While the location is a bit small, the laid back and friendly atmosphere keeps me coming back....and so do the drinks!
Warning: Try the blueberry cornmeal muffin at your own peril because you will be an addict just like I am.

I like this Peet's. It's a bit on the small side and they only have three tables inside; but the staff is friendly and enthusiastic and the coffee, of course, delicious. You can sit outside and do some decent people watching and the outdoor tables have heaters above them - so even in the winter months it's a nice place to take a break.

Awesome service, excellent coffee. This location is great with the roll-up door to outside! Small space for Peets, but that is all needed as you are there for the best coffee, right?

Peet's is a consistently safe choice for coffee excellence, in whatever city you find yourself. Portland, like Seattle, is home to a plethora of coffee opportunities due to it's long winter and wet weather. Peet's stands out as a steaming highlight among the chain and boutique operations.

Peet's is definitely doable, when you're needing a quick fix. When I went though they were kind of slow, and their chai was mediocre. I was sad because I'm not that really hard to please. I had heard great things about Peet's from my sister. Unfortunately it wasn't at this location. I'll sadly go out of my way to go somewhere else besides this Peet's.
