4 reviews for Pearl River Hilton
I just stayed here for one night for a wedding and had a great time. The hotel itself is very nice for being in the middle of a pretty barren/old area with not much immediately around it. The building stands out bc of it's ornate, french chateau kind of looks.
The wedding reception is here and the cocktail hour service/drinks/food were all excellent. I know that a lot of it has to do with what was paid for but the space and service were great too. The cocktail area was the hallway right outside of the grand ballroom and a smaller room across with a few small, round tables lining the hallway and in the room. The grand ballroom space was large and just felt pretty fancy. The dinner that included chicken and beef was just ok, but nothing to complain about.
Overall, it was a great experience. I reserve one star for the location and the lack of mini fridge :-) I had to chill my beer in a bucket of ice instead...

the restaurant is great, very relaxing atmosphere, food is outstanding and the service is five star. take a seat facing the garden 'n try the marinated portabella for a starter and then tell the waiter who seemingly is constantly standing behind you with those white gloves eagerly waiting to attend... tell him what? just smile and tell him it was delicious.

Fine hotel. Sort of a 1990's version of a French chateau. It's in a peaceful stretch of suburbia, although nearby office parks and retirement homes are encroaching. Very friendly staff, by NYC standards. It would get 4 stars, but they still charge for in-room wireless internet access. Who still does that? (So I'm sitting in the lobby trying to send a few work emails instead.)
