I would strongly recommend Pearl Recovery Retreat. Following an out-patient procedure I was expecting nothing less than the optimum which is precisely what I received. Following a procedure, comfort was of most importance to me. In very few words, Pearl provided me with discretion, comfort, care & tranquility.

Do not go to this place. The owner and her mother are HORRIBLE!!!!!
The nurses are average and some are very rude! I had blood on my sheets and one of the nurses said, "if you stay one more day, I will change the sheets, if not I will not change the bloody sheets". They charge you for every little things! Over $1,200 and very bad service!!!! -

DO NOT USE THIS AFTERCARE FACILITY. I agree completely with New C. I had facial surgery done by Jason Diamond MD. If I hadn't taken my friend who was an active RN with me who stayed with me 24 hours a day, catching all the medication errors, etc., I don't know what would have happened. Dr. Zouliman did my canthoplasty and only he seemed to be sympathetic or believe what I told them about Pearl. I felt like Janet, Dr. Diamond's nurse and Dr. Diamond didn't take my complaints seriously. Stay at the PENINSULA (my favorite) or another hotel of your choice and hire a private RN. The PEARL Recovery Retreat is a NIGHTMARE.

WORST AFTER-CARE FACILITY EVER!!!!!!
IF you want a decent service, try to get a room at the FOUR SEASON HOTEL and hire a $300/night Registered Nurse and you will be so much happier and well taken care of!
Yelp doesn't have enough room for me to describe in details all the mishaps and inconvenience this facility had caused me. I may have to write in a separate column. BUT CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!
The owner, Isabella, never apologizes for all the mishaps that happened during my after-care experience with PEARL. The owner's mother, Claudia, was extremely RUDE, super defensive, and tact-less communicator. She came to my dark room (which is a common indicator that the patient was trying to rest) ....this woman was rushing in trying to provide/explain/defend the many reasons of the different mishaps that happened, blaming the doctor's office about the missing appointment I had that morning and the miscommunication, etc. Instead of an apology, she left my room stating: "I am not afraid, you can put me on the internet, I am not afraid; what else do you want... you got a room and a 24 hours nurse care and we had provided THAT!" .... one of her staff drivers happened to witness the confrontation and she had to apologize to me on her behalf.
The owner, Isabella, can't be reached on her cell, for some reason after all this happened.
Once again, THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
If you need a basic after-care facility which you can get much better elsewhere DO NOT USE PEARL!!!!!!
For $775 per night, you deserve a much better service anywhere else, I guarantee it!!!!!

Isabella Koretz, Founder & CEO of Pearl Recovery Retreat, has been an entrepreneur and businesswoman for over a decade. She started her first business at the young ade of twenty, and since has been the driving force behind several service-oriented small businesses in the Los Angeles area.
Her experience in the healthcare industry is vast: as the daughter of a medical-related business owners and wife of a physician, to the founder of a private duty nurse consultancy, Isabella understands both the medical professional and patient side of the industry.
Isabella holds a B.A. in Child Psychology and an M.A. in Organizational Management from Antioch University at Los Angeles. While her entrepreneurial endeavors and educational background are extensive, she is most proud of her role as loving wife and mother of two beatiful children.
