I love this place!
Originally I stopped in to check out their selection of cloth diapers since most stores only sell them online and I wanted to see them in person. I was clueless about them even after the hubby tried numerous times to explain the different types to me.
They have a huge selection of cloth diapers and their employees were able to answer all of our questions and ease my fear of cloth diapering.
We also purchased both of our baby wraps/slings here and the owner was so patient while trying to help me figure them out.
They also offer natural toys, cute clothes, nursery decor, nursing supplies, books, etc. -

I stopped in at Peapods to check out their selection of wraps/slings/Ergos and cloth diapers, but the store offers much more including clothing, toys, books and nursing/feeding supplies. I really appreciated that the sales people were available to answer questions about the diapers and wraps I was interested in and the prices were comparable to what I've seen online. Definitely worth stopping in if you're looking for a shower gift for the natural/organic-loving mama-to-be.

I've been to this little store a few times now. They have pretty reasonable used prefolds and lots of neat little toys for the le babe. It's also one of a couple of places in the Twin Cities where you can buy Charlie's soap and Rock'n Green to wash cloth diapers in. Normally I order my soap from http://CrunchyClean.com, but when I'm in a pinch, I head over here. The products are pretty great. The prices are average. You probably can find better prices online, but sometimes it's nice to see just exactly what you're getting. The staff aren't particularly warm and friendly. This is the second time I've been in when no one has asked if I need any help, even though I wandered around the store for about 10 minutes and the owner (I'm assuming he was the owner) walked right passed me. Plus I was just one of two people in the store. Hardly the end of the world though.

Great place to buy AIO cloth diapers (Bumgenius and Fuzzibuns). Same prices as the internet but no shipping. Great selection of unique clothing and toys and very friendly staff.

A great store with great products that I wish I had known about with the first child. We went there to try out slings which was great even if the lady helping us was a bit crass. At one point I asked about the Ergo sling and she said the price of it like she had already determined it was above us. However, if it wasn't for the odd manners of the staff I would have given them four stars; they were helpful at least. One great thing was every time I picked up something I expected it to be way more expensive than it was, like most boutique organic "better than everyone" stores, and I don't even hate myself. If you want cloth diapers this is the place.
Specialties
Peapods specializes in wood toys, cloth diapers, baby carriers, locally made goods, baby clothes, kids' music, and breastfeeding support. We believe in the value of a strong bond between children and their parents and toys that play in harmony with the natural world. Our products are made of only natural materials--cotton, wool, silk, and wood. No plastic, batteries, petroleum byproducts, or cartoon characters. We strive to purchase our other products from other small, family-based businesses.
History
Established in 1998
Millie Adelsheim and Dan Marshall, parents of Abby, Riley, and Duncan, began Peapods as a home-based family business in Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota. At first, we just sold baby slings and a few toys. In February, 1999, we opened our real-world store on Grand Avenue in St. Paul. We moved a year later to our much bigger store at Snelling & St. Clair in St. Paul, near Macalester College. In January 2011, we moved to our current space at 2290 Como Avenue in St. Paul's Saint Anthony Park neighborhood.
