I liked. A lot.
It was cheaper than Pinkberry (or any other ____berry, for that matter)
Large selection, clean, service okay.
Close to my best pal's place, we roll up in sweats and get some decent froyo.
Life is good.

I would definitely pick Peach House over Pingo's any day. I was here with Aileen V. the other night. They didn't jip us like pingo. It's just the usual tart yogurt and not that bad of a topping selection.

Another addition to the frozen yogurt craze. PeachHouse has been open for about a year now and I went when they first opened, and unfortunately there were no sparks or that butterfly feeling. Perhaps its becuase I don't like the tartness of the "asian" yogurt that peachhouse and pinkberry have.
My last encounter here was with Steph B. and it was what it normally was-a place with mediocre frozen yogurt. The place is fairly small, don't come with a large group unless you want to stand outside and eat your ice cream...and if you do, try to jam into one car because like everyone else said...parking sucks.
Sidenote- When Steph and I came here, a girl came in with her little yorkie.....i'm all for dogs (Animal Sci Major), but last time i checked I thought you couldn't bring them into food establishments. The staff didn't say anything, the patrons didn't either. So maybe if you and your toy pup next time is craving some ice cream, you might want to try here!

First things first, what were they thinking with the decor. There is contemporary decor where it puts focus on the right things and there is decor where it focuses on the wrong things. (As you may see, it is the second one of the two this time) Colors do not correlate together as well as other yogurt joints and lighting is horrendous.
Well enough with the decor. The yogurt is the bulk of this review and I would say that I am satisfied with the yogurt but at the same time, I had much better. Peach House is one of the later stores that had open after the initial fad of frozen yogurt. I am writing this review based on the fact that I already had multiple yogurts from other stores. The yogurt here is, I would say, dull in comparison to Pinkberry and other stores but what redeems itself is the toppings. The servers are usually very generous with the toppings and there are plenty to choose from (some not available at other stores).
Other than that, Peach House is one of the failed followers of Yogurt. On the other hand, I invite everyone to experience their Brazilian lemonade. That is the favorite part of my experience and should be tried at least once. I wish I could raise the rating just because of this lemonade but a yogurt place should serve outstanding yogurt and experiences and also other great treats.

Decent, tart yogurt. It melts a little fast. Friendly service. Large selection of toppings.
The decor is really weird but unique. Crappy parking. They play music that doesn't match the music videos on their monitors. It's too funny :(
It's a must-go place every time I visit LA....
The store decor is very different. Whit painted floor and wall, yellow chairs~
Always have the original flavor with mochi~
Interior is cool looking, although a lot of the knock-off fro-yo places are mimicking the white, cool-look. Price is much cheaper than Pinkberry, definitely not as crowded and the original fro-yo is a close runner up.
I don't understand why so many people review this store. It's just nothing special. First, the yogurt was whatever, the Pingo got the better yogurt actually. Second, the location is bad and hardly found for the first time visitors. Third, the parking is bad because it was located in the small plaza with limited number of parking spots and share with 3 other chinese restaurants. How on earth a person can find a parking there?~!
Forth, the inner decoration is bad. The owner might want to make the store looks stylish but the small details were left out, such as connection between wall and floor. They also forgot that the white plastic table and wall made the store looks ugly just short while after the day they installed. I saw a few people said it's cheaper than Pinkberry? maybe` but not much enough to make me remember at all... plus Pinkberry allows you to have swirl favors but this Peach House doesn't! it's the one froz-yo place i found doesn't allow swirl so far!!
This is pretty much right around the corner from my house. In San Gabriel / Alhambra, we don't really have Pinkberry's but we have a dozen or so knock off's and this is my fave of them. Peach House has a great original and peach flavors (I have yet to try the green tea) and also has a great seasonal selection (right now it is Raspberry and it is DAMN good). The toppings are fresh and they staff there is very friendly. The only drawback to me is the parking in the strip mall that is there but when I need my fix I will just park at the Hardware store right next store. Great yogurt at good prices.
I like the yogurt here better than all other yogurt joints such a pinkberry. I enjoy the original flavor here the most. Finding parking is sometimes difficult so sometimes you have to park at the supermarket across the street and hopefully not get caught by the security guard. Expect to pay around $5 for your medium yogurt with 3 toppings.
They also play music but the music never matches the music videos that are playing on the little TV screens.
The yogurt's good but it's so expensive.
Eh, what can I say, another yogurt place. Nothing special. Parking does suck. With so many new competition popping out within a 5 mile radius, they really need to do something different to stand out.
I would give this place three and a half stars if I could, but too bad.
Well... the place is small, and it is hard to find parking. I ordered peach with strawberries, and I thought the yogurt tasted alright but it was just a bit sour and it melted too fast.

peach house is very clean and have a friendly staff the yogurt is nice and thick and they give a fair amount of toppings but the price is a bit pricey and the seating is limited.
parking is horrible it is hard to get there when you are going east on valley or up new cause you can't really turn in to the plaza.
Dear Mr. Peach House,
I work hard M-F so I can come visit you on the weekend and spend some quality time with you. But you always leave me feeling jipped and rejected. How can you take my hard earned money in exchange for a turd size dollop of yogurt filled with mostly air and water? How dare you have the nerves to WEIGH my yogurt on top of charging so much just to make sure you're not giving me too much for my money? And what happens when you do happen to serve me excess? Do you lick it off before handing it over to me?
I'm tired of being your yogurt ho. Aside from fighting with all the other bitches in the hood for a parking spot to come see you, it just ain't worth the drama anymore. It was nice while it lasted but I deserve to be treated better.
Our relationship is over.

I've been having cravings for yogurt almost every weekend...and Peach House is where I would choose to go to satisfy my cravings. I haven't been to many of those yogurt places that are popping up left and right so I can't really compare. However, I do know that this place is tasty! ...BUT expensive! Dude, I must be cheap since I think all these places are probably overpriced but yet I would still go...go figure -_-"
So if you want to pay 85 cents per topping and $5 for yogurt, then this is the place I would choose. The yogurt tastes fresh and clean, but every time I go...I feel that they are chinsy on the serving size. A small and a medium looks EXACTLY the same! The kids there serve it all the same! UH! Be at least a little bit more generous since we're paying an arm and leg for it! OH and the place looks like something from Futurama...with flat screen tvs on the walls and music videos playing...this is probably why they charge so much...but I personally would much rather have a picnic style bench & table to sit on than a Futurama/Jetson set place.
*Update* 1 star removed!
Aside from all the future like emsemble in the store, the yogurt at the place may be a little bit cheaper but you sure don't get much for what you pay for...I never get the idea of weighing the yogurt! It's just rude to me! You won't see me coming here no more...goodbye!

5 stars just for the brazilian lemonade.
i dont care that much for the yogurt, but the brazilian lemonade - fresh squeezed lime juice, confusing-but-delicious milkiness - *drool*
this is the best thing to get on a hot summer day.
I think this is it for me. My last trip on the Fro Yo train. I just can't continue to go on like this.
Let me get the positive out of the way first. I think the interior of the place is fantastic. Very imaginative if you looked at the picture of one of the employee took of the place. It's very clean with the light shining bright to make the place look serene when you enter the place.
If you look at how the table is set up from the wall, you'll think the place probably won some awards for architectural designs or Life Style awards. Sure enough, they proudly display the awards they won last year for some sort of best designs.
Judy H.'s review is right. The parking is a little hassle during lunch or dinner hours. The parking lot is very small and the place have to share the limited spaces with four other restaurants. It can be rough if customers of MPV and Yung Ho is hogging up the space. It won't be that quick of in and out unless you have a partner in crime waiting at the car while you go in to purchase the yogurt.
How is their yogurt? They have three flavors. Major props for actually having a flavor that is name after the place! (Peach). Don't get me started on places like PinGo (didn't have apple flavor) or Blue Cherry. Besides the peach, they do carry the original flavor and the green tea.
With about $5.15, I was able to order a medium yogurt with three toppings. They happened to have both lychee and longan as part of the toppings. The fruits are a little bit stiff, but not too noticeable different than some of the yogurt joints who have too dry of fruits. Double edge swords, I would rather take the fresh frozen fruits over the dry and out in the open fruits.
How is the texture, flavor, and taste? May I just say that it was a little bit tarty for my taste. The yogurt didn't knocked my socks, but I do think it's creamier than the other sucker joints like Yogurtland, Snowberry, Kiwiberri, or Blue Cherry.
To me, the place is in the middle of the pack in terms of taste, but the interior of the place at least was not a knockoff copycat of Pinkberry. I gotta give them props for creativity on this one.
The place is cute and very creative, but the yogurt is just too ordinary for me to wanting come back to spend that $5. There is only one place that did made me go back multiple times and it is......
Yeah, you guessed it. The one that I got an ROTD for: http://www.yelp.com/bi...

My favorite food in the world is peaches. So naturally I wanted to try this place. Got the peach flavor, sight unseen. At first taste, it was medicinely, like some bad artificial peach flavoring. But as I kept eating it, I guess I was getting brain freeze and after awhile it tasted good.
Got samples of the regular flavor and their new flavor, raspberry. The raspberry was really good. The regular was a little less tart than Pinkberry.
Parking is a bit difficult to find since it shares with other businesses. The frozen yogurts here are great. I found this place to be a refreshing change from pinkberry. The interior design of the place is pretty unique and definitely trippy. Prices aren't bad say about 2 to 4 dollars? Great service here; first time i went in they greeted me right away.
If you're tired of Pinkberry, try here.
Normally, I'm the boba kind of person, not frozen yogurt,
but considering all the froyo places I've tried, i like peach house the most.
It doesn't have that sour taste, which reminds me of spoiled milk..gross. The best deal to get at peach house would be the medium w/ 3 toppings [ I know people who work there and they tell me] my boyfriend likes the Brazilian lemonade. What separates peach house from the other yogurt places is how they pack ice if you're ordering to-go, which i think is a great idea because it keeps it cold longer! :]
The frozen yogurt here is awesome, the design is a bit weird and very bright, but its awesome either way :D. Peach house is pretty darn good compared to the other yogurt places around the area.
Peach House, in my opinion, is actually the tastiest of all the places I've tried (including Pinkberry, Cefiore, Pingo, Kiwiberry). Their prices are somewhat cheaper than the other places and they don't use those damn weights to measure your yogurt. They also don't skimp on the toppings like most places. Yes, the parking does inevitably suck since it's smack-dab in San Gabriel, but I thought it was worth it.

Hmm, I don't think this place is anything special. I've been here a few times and it's okay. The place is really small, parking sucks, too many teens hanging around here... Maybe I'm just bitter, but how come these HS teens are hanging around these places at 9 pm + at night. Besides, these froyo places aren't cheap, how do they have that much money?
Back in my day... I only had... okay, I'll just shut up here. My mother thinks I'm old when I talk about how much my brother has now in comparison to how much I had when I was in HS, which was only 2 years ago.
The selections of toppings are pretty wide but I don't think the price is worth it for the quality. The peach flavor is weird, original is nothing special, and so is the green tea. By the way, I think Lollicup's froyo is pretty good for a quick fix for a really reasonable price.

Eh. another overpriced froyo place. Nothing really speical they have the same type of decor, and the yogurt flavor is the same or similar to pinkberry... though maybe a bit creamier. Red mango is better. i will have to say. At least this place is close to SGV people.
i don't normally venture to this side of L.A. since there's so much traffic. I was passing by though so I stopped to try this place my friend had told me about. Not the most impressive. Parking was horrific and the spaces were tiny. The yogurt was just okay, and for a medium size it was actually kind of small. Also, the decor was uncomfortable at best. The menu mounted on the wall was illegible (I don't even know what to call that type of font), and the super white walls made the place look like an insane asylum. Poor seating area - so I had to stand.
I consider myself rather hesitant in entering the new froyo (frozen yogurt) craze sweeping America. Generally, I don't like yogurt, but I do like self-serve ice cream. Peach House (and all of its competitors) is the combination of the two: the taste of yogurt with the consistency and look of self-serve.
Paying $5+ dollars for some kind of gimmicky food item is the last thing I want to do, but I thought if my friends were raving about it that I ought to at least try it. They serve plain as well as green tea froyo (I'm not sure about peach though) and they will gladly let you sample a tinsy bit when requested. A medium with three toppings will set you back an Abe Lincoln, but it's better than a small with one topping for almost the same price.
I asked for mango, yogurt chips, and mochi (rice cakes) on the plain version. What 's cool? They'll pack in some ice if it's to-go. Now that's a great idea, just make sure you're mindful of it leaking in half-an-hour. To me it's an acquired taste. It's tart like yogurt, but not too sour and tastes decent. Yogurt chips were strange and gummy, with a rancid smell. Apparently that's how they're supposed to be. Mochi look likes mini-sized white chocolate chips that taste pretty plain, nothing special. Only redeeming flavor was the mango. Fresh and sweet, it's probably the only topping (as well as other fruit varieties) I'll re-order. They also have fruity pebbles, cap n' crunch, longan, lychee, etc.
Friends have compared it with Pinkberry, saying Peach House serves more generous portions. Service was decent and parking was a little of a pain and the architecture inside is apparently award-wining. Little things make this joint stand out: loyalty cards, funky design, and a tip container that says "karma insurance". Clever.
I wouldn't go out of my way to patron Peach House, but if it's convenient and if you're generous with your purse strings, stop by and enjoy their frozen yogurt (with fruit!).

I gave this place a try over the weekend because I wanted to introduce a friend to the froyo trend and it's the same as all the other places. Even though the place is named after their peach flavor yogurt, I'd pass on that and stick with the original or green tea. The fresh mango and mochi was yummy though.
Oh and don't ask them to mix the flavors, apparently it's a no no. Is it so hard? Anyway, it's local to the San Gabriel area so I can see why people (mostly youngin's) flock to this place.
2.5 stars
Server/cashier needs some customer service training STAT.
The hanging fluorescent bulbs unfortunately reminiscent of sweatshop warehouses. The nesting walls were a bit interesting, if you were on the cashier's side of the shop. Ahh, I can't be picky about the decor... or can I?
The yogurt is edible and re-edible. Meaning, I've had it twice with no real regrets. I might. be. getting. bored. with. this. finally? ? ? No, no. I wouldn't hang out there. No no no.

Frozen Yogurt on a rainy day...
Maybe that's why the place was empty when we came here after dinner.
Not a "huge" fan of the frozen yogurt craze.... not because I don't like it... it's more my genetic predisposition does not allow a significant amount of lactose consumption.
But this place was good... I got an medium original (plain) frozen yogurt with three toppings (coconut, kiwi, and mango) -- Vic's Tropical Mix... that will run you ~$5.
The decor was nice... like the pictures that have already been provided here... I like the "futuristic" wall-transitioning-into-a-table.
Wouldn't make a conscious effort to come here on a regular basis, but I would most likely get something if my friends wanted to come. As far as comparing this place to all the other yogurt places? Honestly... they all taste the same to me.

The yogurt tastes pretty good at this place, but for its location, it could stand to be a bit cheaper. I understand that Pinkberry may need to charge more when it's located at The Grove or in Beverly Hills (and the fact that they are a large chain). But since you are a tiny shop in Alhambra, maybe the prices can come down just a little. Or perhaps if the portions were larger, people might not feel like they're not getting a good deal. The parking situation is horrible, which should have been taken into consideration when deciding to take this location. It really does deter people from coming in.
This is my first adventure in the trend of frozen yogurt. I can honestly see why it has become a trend, yogurt is good. Ok, so it is expensive for yogurt and you can get better tasting yogurt, but the soft frozenness of it is refreshing. I even liked the green tea flavor, and I dislike almost anything green tea flavored (except for tea). I was impressed.
Sadly, I got all fruit. When they were making it, I saw the crunchy stuff and said "I wish I got something crunchy on it." Big mistake. The strawberry and the peach were both crunchy and terribly under ripe. The mango and the blueberries I borrowed from someone else were ripe and good, but you would think that with peach yogurt the peaches would be ripe, or at least soft.
The place is well, odd. The lighting is some of the trippiest lighting I've seen outside of Roscoe's in Long Beach. They play music videos on 2 TVs (obviously recorded from TV) however they play music which has nothing to do with the TVs. A bit odd, but I won't complain as long as I can have good yogurt.

A friend and I was having a craving for yogurt and stopped in here. The place is in a small plaza with other restaurants so parking gets full quick. Walking into peach house, it has that same kind of decor as pinkberry but they have a couple of flat screens hung up on the side of the wall. The place was clean, the service was fast and the workers were friendly. My friend ordered their green tea flavor and I had their peach flavor yogurt. Both flavors are good but my friend's cookie topping was a bit stale. That was a bummer but overall it satisfied our yogurt craving.

I love yogurt. Always have, always will... so I was pretty excited to try a new place. I ended up having to park waaay down the street because their lot is very small. When I walked into Peach House I wasn't impressed or anything. It was the usual, generic, IKEA-y, plastic, mod decor. But for some reason Mork & Mindy popped into my head when I saw the white, graduated ceiling panels. The place is petite and with our group, about 8-10 heads, it already started to feel crowded.
I wasn't feeling the peach and have eaten enough plain, so I tried the green tea. It has a creamy, macha flavor which I like. Their yogurt is not tart/sour compared to pinkberry's and it's more milky than icey. I chose 3 toppings: lychee, blueberries, and walnuts which came out to a little over $6. But they were generous with the toppings and offered courteous service (i.e. asking how to spell my name correctly and accomodating because they thought they ran out of green tea).

Ehh.....Zzzzz........BoooHooo.
Mediocre service, looks dirty, uninspired froyo and just overall not a very imaginative experience. The TVs didn't even have a good signal ! But what can you expect from a late comer to the knock off froyo scene. I'd rather make the trek to the distant nirvana of Cantaloop or Cefiore. Even Pinkberry is better than Peach House.

Not the best yogurt place in town...It was close to home and it satisfied a slight urge. The place looked funky, with a cool design on the sidewalls, but as you approach the counter with the toppings and cashier area, you might go blind so wear some shades. It's brightly lit with a yellow backdrop and I had to sit away from that wall as everytime I look at it, it would hurt my eyes.
The yogurt was not bad, toppings were fresh. I got the small original with rice cake (mochi), strawberries, and raspberries. They couldn't fit all the toppings into one cup so they gave me an extra one with just the raspberries. They could've just given me a medium cup instead with the same amount of yogurt, but I guess they weren't bright enough so they wasted 1 extra small cup.
I can see why the other reviewers talked down about the parking...there were barely any for such a small plaza.
WoW!!! when I pulled in to the parking lot, I had to camp there for 10 minutes just to park my car. The lot was full due to busy restuarant next to peach house. the decor is weird. kind of futuristic but cheap. I love the hanging shop lights. it a nice added touch to the weird decor. their customer service is okay but the worst thing is their yogurt. I got their peach flavor to go. I couldn't even finish it because it tasted like powder. that was my first and last time that I will be going there.
another froyo place. shocking. i would not go out of my way to come here. the parking is just ridiculous. but since we were next door for lunch...and this is a popular yelp spot, i had to stop in.
this is the cutest decorated froyo place so far. i think they even won some kind of award for it. it's so white that you almost have to squint while inside. the tables coming out of the walls reminded me of skateboard ramps. pretty cool.
the "peach" flavor was very chalky and not very peachy. i got the original...which was not very tart, but better if you ask me. paired with a mango topping, it was very satisfying.
it was so hot today, many people came in for to-go orders. they pack your order with bags of ice...another pretty cool thing, IMO.

-1 parking sucks in this lot. We parked across the street at CVS
-1 decor. I had a headache with all the AZN yellow walls. Geez, don't they know yellow is not a good color for Asian skin tones. While the design was supposed to be futuristic, it was already looking worn down and dirty.
-1 music videos did not match the actual music playing in the shop
+1 amusing service. I think the chickies just got through training. I found it highly unnecessary for them to get our names and orders for the print out they stick on your froyo cuppa.
-1 the peach yogurt could hardly be called "peachy keen." Goodness, at least use some food coloring to lead me to believe the darn thing is peach flavored. Otherwise, gasps upon gasps, Pinkberry is actually better! Oh man.
-1 generic spoon
-1 pricing was terrible. A small with one topping was almost $5. Yeah, I could have gotten a medium with three toppings for the same price but you know, I don't need that much froyo in my life.
Bleh.

Three stars for the interior decorating, lognan and lychee toppings, and the Justin Timberlake music video.
Everything else was disappointing even when I wanted this sweet little spot to work so badly.
The girl at the register was totally spaced out and we had to repeat our orders to her TWICE. How difficult is it to hear, "Shaved ice please." ?
The plain yogurt has a thin and runny consistency and it's a tad too tart. This tart likes it tart but this was a tad much.
The mochi was not very nice.
The shaved ice was not "soft and fluffy" as promised on the menu. It was a block of ice soaked in condensed milk. I suppose I've been spoiled with Hawaiian shave ice and the super sharp blades that they use to make their ices light and sooo good to down.
