PC Overhaul

I have an external hard drive that failed--nearly 1 TB of data feared lost. I called George at PC Overhaul and gave him a rundown of the symptoms. He asked me to drop it off pretty much anytime so he could run it through some diagnostics.

Dropped it off on a weekday morning, and he dropped me a line later that afternoon with relatively good news: the data can be saved! Although the level of work and need for a laboratory clean room meant he couldn't do the work himself, he recommended a place that could and even offered to be the go-between for said work. What's more, there was NO CHARGE for the time he spent on the drive.

Yeah, I'm very pleased with my experience and wouldn't hesitate at all in recommending him to another potential customer.

George was amazing. He helped me get all of my files from my old dead laptop onto my brand new laptop. He was very nice and prompt with his service and I also couldn't beat the price he quoted me. I've used George twice now. Once to troubleshoot a laptop and recently my desktop. George is very professional and knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. Did I mention that his rates are reasonable?

George was great -- friendly & responsive. He walked me through a problem with my son's laptop & I immediately realized that this was not a person interested in only taking my money but truly knowledgeable & wanting to help people with their computer repair issues. George really know his stuff! I've never really had to hire someone to repair a computer before, so I wasn't sure where to turn. When I found pcoverhaul online I was skeptical at first, but after looking over the website I felt reassured. He has some excellent articles on his website as well as a thorough biography.

My son's computer would not start, and while I knew it was probably the power supply, I wasn't really sure and I could end up spending a lot of time stressing out over it. George quickly determined what the problem was, ordered a better power supply and installed it, and even did some windows updates while troubleshooting an issue with the DVD burner. George showed me how the case opens (it's one of those intimidating looking fancy Dell cases) and how to hook up a new DVD burner myself.

George has been extremely helpful - even offering to do some research for me on virus software for Mac. It's so unusual to find someone so knowledgeable and helpful these days, and who charge such good rates!

George accepts credit card payment via Pay Pal which is very easy to sign up for, easy to use, and a very safe way to handle online payments.

This was my first visit to George at PC Overhaul but I won't hesitate to return there if I need computer assistance again. Not only is he honest and very accommodating, but he is also very close to home. The turnaround time was very short and his work was very thorough. He spent a lot of time explaining the problem to me and also offered many tips on how to improve my computer experience. Definitely go see George before visiting anywhere else.

George is phenomenal! My PC crashed on a Thursday night (the dreaded blue screen). I left a voicemail and got a call a few minutes later. 30 minutes later i dropped my computer off. The next morning I got a text that it was fixed. He suggested products and gave ideas on what to do to keep my system safe and running properly. Highly recommend them. Very happy! Thanks.
