I haven't used their grooming services (boxer = short hair = no trimming needed) but I have seen many a pretty pup prancing out from the back. I mostly go here for herbal supplements, all natural treats and raw bones.
There is a great array of toys and treats. I can't help but pick out a big variety every time. My dog has major stomach issues, so finding lots of treats in one place that won't make her sick is fantastic.
I homecook and can get all of the supplements I need in this cute boutique. From SeaMeal to cold pressed salmon oil, they have great vitamins to add to your pet's food. I also pick up the Primal raw marrow bones, which are good for clean healthy dog teeth.

If my dog didn't love treats so much and I wasn't such a spoiler I might not have to come in so often to restock, but we both love visiting and hanging out with the other dogs and checking out what new toys are in.

I have been coming here since the place opened about two years ago and I LOVE it. The store itself is cute, has easy access parking and close to the freeway. You can only find high quality food/treats here, so expect to pay a bit more for food/treats then you would at your local grocery store. But their prices are very reasonable considering the QUALITY. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to this stuff. I like going in there and trying the new treats out knowing that everything will be high quality and safe for my dogs/cats to eat. They have done their research so I don't have to.

Marilyn works the retail part of the store and is always a wealth of information. If I ask a question she doesn't know the answer to, she will find the answer and get back to me. She has also been wonderful in finding/ordering the products I want but that she might not carry in stock. I have asked for a few weird/oddball items and she always manages to find what I am looking for.

Robin does the grooming. They do have another full time groomer there, Shannon, but I have not used her yet. Robin always takes her time with my dogs - and never complains about their temperaments. She is always calm, yet firm with one of my "naughty" dogs. Once the grooming/nail trim is over, she makes sure to take some extra time with them before and afterward to make sure that the experience is as easy as possible. All of my dogs still like her - despite having their nails trimmed there for the past few years - that says a lot considering my dogs HATE having their nails trimmed.

I love the store and the people who work in it. It is a friendly and inviting atmosphere. We often stop by just to visit and they are always happy to see us. My dogs love it here and that makes me love it just that much more.

Very cute store with high quality items like Orijen, Raw, Tripe, holistic supplements among other items.  They also have a large selection of small dog clothes, healthy shampoos, dog bakery items and treats.

They have a reputable dog salon and stylists which I give a thumbs up to.

Lovely store and staff!

It's a good thing they can file my dog's nails in less than ten minutes, because ten minutes in that store can cause major damage to my checkbook.  They have such cute stuff, great treats, and fun toys.  The store smells great, and it's small but well organized.  The staff member I worked with was just lovely, and Oola even got a little bag of treats after her nails were done.  The nail job is great, no more clacky nails on the floor, and I can keep up the filing until I forget to do it for a few weeks and then have to take her in again.  10 bucks for nails is money well spent here.   Street parking is a little tight out front, and I'm not sure if they have access to the lot in the back.

I absolutely love this place!!!!
The staff here are very friendly! They always make me and my dog feel very comfortable. I took my puppy here to be groomed for her first time. She was so scared at first but the groomer took her time to get to know her and talked to me about what I wanted done. They did such a great job. I love this place and would never take my dog anywhere else to be groomed.

I always drive by this place and mean to come in... Went a week or so ago and it was cute.

I have a male pup, so I don't find much use out of the clothing there, but it's good to know there is some raw food available down the street if I can't make it to my regular spot in San Francisco.

They have a wide selection of clothes, and cute collars, too. Makes me want a girl pooch. Also thought the selection of doggie treats were so adorable!

I took my 3 month  old pup--Elvis--here for the first time today for a pedicure.

He YELPED (LOL) like mad the entire time, but the two girls held him down and expertly filed his sharp nails down to  a beautiful trim. Now my legs and arms won't be so bloody!

They were very cool with his puppy madness, and compared it to a toddler tantrum!

Elvis is a short hair and we don't need grooming, but there was an adorable little dog who was getting a blow dry--he/she looked GREAT!

WARNING: They have TOO much cute dog stuff in here. I think it's impossible to leave w/o buying something unnecessary!

Elvis got a squeeky toy that looks like a Heinekin bottle!

I'll be back!

This place is great.  I drive from dublin to take my dog here.  The groomers are fabulous.  My Pixie is always happy when she leaves.  She is never caged and is only there for an 1 1/2 hours.  In and out in a jiffy.

checked it out today with Boston Biggie, he's kind of growing and we wanted to get him a bigger harness, one of those new style fancy step in harnesses maybe with a little design or something. Well honestly wasn't too impressed. Most of the stuff was for small dogs, a lot of cute stuff if your interested in that for your pet, but nothing that jumped out at me that other places didn't have of course without the flashiness.

The dog food section was impressive wasn't all that pricey. But I didn't see how much of a difference if you feed that stuff to your dog compared to my all ready organic dog food Ultramix and the other dog foods. Does organics have a Super organic and is that super organic going to transform your dog into some kind of super dog with no health problems? Don't know about that one...

Small place that kind of said hi to me and then ignored me, or didn't talk to me for the duration didn't even say bye on my way out which was kind of surprising to me...  That's why it gets only an A-OK

I've only been once so far but they did an excellent job!  My dog gets nervous, she can tell when some kind of procedure is about to happen to her, lol.  Robin was so awesome - while I held the dog she stroked her calmly & let her get more comfortable, & we talked about the style I wanted.  After a few minutes she scooped her up into her arms & she went willingly - a huge change from the way she normally clings to me for dear life when I take her in for grooming.  She looked adorable when she was done, she smelled fantastic & I believe she's scratching less.  Her skin is dry so whatever they used really agreed with her.  I'm very happy w/ their service & will continue to come back!

I groom my own dogs but I have never seen anything other than satisfied grooming clients here. Not sure why Milo's owner was so upset, but take his comments with a grain of sale.

This is my fav place to bring the furkids for yummy, healthy treats. I even got Ziwi Peak air dried raw food for a recent road trip. The dogs loved it! Of course, it is important to change foods gradually, so I do so for a week before our trip:)

This place is full of supplies for raw feeders, holistic kibble people, etc. Their food & treats are healthy and there are plenty for special needs pooches with dietary restrictions (grain free, etc.). I highly recommend this place!

What a cute little pet boutique!  The owner Marilyn is very sweet and mellow.  She greets you and chats with you, but doesn't try to push products.  She can answer any questions you ask, though.

There are lots of cute and fancy things for the well-dressed celebrity pooch, as well as natural and unique treats for dogs and cats.

these guys ROCK! I have never brought a dog to the groomers before but our little foster pup Willy needed some serious tlc. These ladies did him right, and he is a super sensitive little guy. The prices are very competitive and they have all kind of holistic, organic, super great quality food & treats at great prices. Some really cute gear if you are into that :)

I just can't say enough good stuff about them, they are clearly caring, compassionate and love what they do.

Willy came out looking like a rock star, he's probably never looked that good...it's pretty clear they care about what they do and they do it well.

Robin and Marilyn ROCK!!  I've been in love with this shop since the first visit with my Chow Chow Juno.  Lots of great pampering stuff, natural foods, organic products, and good advice.

They're always helpful, they never push their products, and they have cool events like the photo shoot.  We have to support small businesses instead of the Petsmart and Petco conglomerates!

Do yourself and your pet friends a favor and check out Pawsitive Karma.

FINALLY a place that loves your animals as much as you do! Robin and Marilyn are two terrific ladies that have a passion for their business! And they love animals, their store is dedicated to holistic and natural alternatives for a healthier pet.

My two pugs, Molly and Mack, have a standing monthly reservation for their nails - pet spa luxury at a reasonable price.

They also have a doggie bakery and cute accessories for the spoiled / loved pup. I am so glad that they moved into the neighborhood!

I used to be a regular customer at this store.  Everything at the store is fine except when you pay for your items.  They sometimes charge you twice when you use your charge card.  I only found out about it when I looked at my checking account online.  The first time they corrected the problem by crediting my account.  But last weekend they would not  correct another double charge on my account even though I had my receipt and I showed them a print out of my checking account being double charged.  The purchase was made the previous week.  I no longer shop here because the owner will not trust a formally loyal customer.

I love this pet boutique and little Chester, the pomeranian, loves it too. The owner, Marilyn, is very friendly and extremely knowledgable.  Chester is hooked on their gourmet treats, especially the Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Crunch in Beef.  It's 100% natural.  They have a variety of natural/ healthy yummies for your pooches.  I was shopping for a stroller (for those days when I do the 10 mile run since Chester can top at 2 miles at most - hey, like I said, he's a pomeranian! That's better than some people!), and Marilyn knew everything there was to know about strollers: what's ideal, what's recommended, what I don't need/need, etc.  She's great, so helpful!!!

This is a pretty nice place for good ol' Castro Valley!  You wouldn't ever expect a dog boutique here.  It's located right next to JD's & the Chabot Theater.  Parking is in the back.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into the store was the cute Westie... named Buddha!  The store itself has great organic/holistic stuff for your dog.  Of course that means it's pricier which makes me wonder if being "organic/holistic" will really make that much of a difference for my dog.  They even have snacks made of 100% kobe beef.  I found treats that were "chicken pot pie" flavored and I had to get them because it's such a unique flavor.

Other than that, it's your typical dog boutique with expensive dog items.  I'd probably only come here for dog food/snacks.  I think shampoos, conditioners (even salon brands), dog beds & the like can be purchased online for cheaper.

My friend told me that she wanted to get her dog groomed here but there's a waiting list!  If you run into that problem, just go to Classy Canine Dog Salon across the street from Golfland.  They're awesome.

I had a pretty bad experience at the doggy salon across the street from Pawsitive Karma so was excited to try a new place. Not only did their warm nature make me feel comfortable from the start but they continued to be sweet and kind in dealing with my non stop barking dog. I loved that Bella did not have to wait in a crate for a few hours to be seen. She was in and out in under 90 mins and looked absolutely adorable when I picked her up. I love this place and will definitely keep bringing Bella back.

Love this place!!! It's a day spa and pet food and supply store.  I take my 2 terriers there for their regular grooming appointments and doggie play dates.  They really know how to groom westies!  The staff are all truly dog lovers and very knowledgeable about doggie nutrition.  Because of them I have both of my doggies, Sparkle & Cotton, on a raw diet which my vet has confirmed is best for a dogs overall health and longevity.

Pawsitive Karma is a Holistic Boutique and Pet Spa which has been opened about 6 months. This was my first time visiting and I was impressed with the wonderful selection of natural and organic pet foods and treats. They sell pet food, treats, baked goods for dogs, clothes, accessories, toys, etc.. They also have a Pet Spa service.
There were a nice variety and everything was set up very nicely.

I purchased the PupPuccino which is a beef blend of Gourmet Dog Treats and a "Good Dog" chicken pot pie dog treats. They both come in nice containers which I will be giving to someone as a gift for their dog.

The owner was very nice and helpful. Her dog was working with her in the store and came to greet us and check us out when we came in.

The store is in the middle of a block and is a bit hard to spot while driving by. It is right next door to a small restaurant named JD's Restaurant.

I definitely will be back again either for my pets or gifts for my friends' pets.

I went here because of all the great reviews.  My vet warned me not to come here.  The experience started out great.  They were friendly, asked about my likes and dislikes of previous groomers.  Asked me very-detailed questions about the cut.  Even asked if I wanted to give my shih tzu a  free doggy bandana and dog treat.  They are cage free, so I knew my dog would not be confined.  OK, so here is the bad part: my shih tzu came back almost shaved bald!  I asked for a short cut where the hair stays wavy. They told me they had to shave him because one of my "dislikes" from my previous groomers was an uneven cut.  I can't believe they couldn't get the cut even without cutting so much!  What's worse: they cut my dog's neck and didn't tell me!  I found a big bloody scab after I got home.  When I asked the groomer (she wasn't one of the  owners), she said it was a "hot spot" NOT a cut and that she is sorry for not telling me.  The owner even asked if my vet had shaved him in the neck to check on something!  Please, take responsibility for your poor care and for making my dog bleed!  They gave me my money back and I will not put my dog in danger by going back there.  Be warned.
