Pawin' Around may not be the prettiest doggie facility, but what it lacks in beauty, it makes up for in heart. Our pup loves this place, she runs in the door when we bring her by, and she barks a hello to whoever comes out to greet her.

They could have anywhere from just a few dogs to a whole houseful depending on the day. I love their webcam option, you can go online and take a peek at what your dog is doing during the day. It's very addicting and you will be tempted to pass the link around to friends and say 'look at what Puffy is doing today!'...at which point typically they will roll their eyes at you for being such a dork that you bring your dog to daycare, nevermind pay for it. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us.

Pawin' Around has a plethora of options for services. They have half day, full day, they do boarding as well. They even have Mark's Grooming Extraordinaire up the street come by for nail clipping sessions, so you can sign your pup up to do that and pay something like $10. We've never gotten this in-depth with the whole thing but apparently others have told me that they will also take your dog for walks if the whole daycare scene isn't enough for them or they need more activity. I'm sure there's a charge, but nice option.

To get your pup signed up you have to fill out some paperwork and do an eval, just to make sure that you aren't trying to pass off Cujo as a harmless Fluffy. Make sure the dog has all it's shots and vaccines up to date as well as a courtesy to other dog owners.

Ilya and the staff there are amazing with the pups. You can definitely tell they are dog lovers by the way the dogs are so excited when they are greeted. They know the residents by name, and even though I am typically a worrywart about our little girl, I know that Pawin' Around takes care of her like she's their own.

I absolutely adore Pawin Around! My husband found out about it when we needed a place to board our dog.

We were impressed with Ilya and his wonderful staff immediately. They love all of the dogs and know them as individuals. They allow small and big dogs to run together and socialize which is unheard of in other facilities.

The web cam feature allows you to check in and see what your dog is up to. It's very cute and addicting to watch the dogs play.

Although we initially came here for boarding, we fell in love and decided to put our dog in daycare 3 times a week. I trust the staff wholeheartedly and would recommend this to anyone. It's very reassuring to know that my dog is safe and having fun while I'm at work. Their pricing is very competitive as well!

I have been to at least 4 other doggie day care facilities in the San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale area and by far Pawin' Around is the best.    

First of all the atmosphere is casual and fun.  A lot of other places are very rigid and you feel like your taking your pup to juvenile hall.  They have so many rules for you and your dog,...........you can't come in during the middle of the day, can't drop off when you want etc.  You will know what I mean if you have been to others.

I want to take my pup to a place where he can be crazy and run around or he can chill.......it's up to him.  You will find others places where they have to have their "nap time" during a certain time and then they have their "play time" another time, it's all too structured for me.  Like I said before if you have been to other places you will know what I mean.

My pup Ajax loves to go to Pawin' around, the staff there is very good and Ajax especially loves the owner IIya.

We have been going here almost a year and have never had a problem, where other places I've picked him up and his feet always smelled of pee, or another place where he would come home every single time with big scratches or bites.

I have never encountered anything negative at Pawin Around...........and crazy enough you will find them cheaper than any other place.............so It's hard to beat!!!

Make sure you check the web cam and you will see my cute boy Ajax, he is the beautiful white boxer.

I was referred to Pawin' Around by a friend who takes their dog there.

The set up of the facility is so cute.  Each dog has its own "cubby" to keep their leash, etc in for the day.  The private boarding room was so cute too.  A mini bed just for the dog.  I was dying of laughter when I saw it.

Most importantly, Ilya is amazing with the dogs.  He is Cesar Millan #2.  From the first moment I brought my dog in, I could tell that he has a deep love for animals.  The affection he shows to the dogs is great.  I couldn't ask for a better dog sitter for my "baby".  

I also love the fact that my dog gets to play with my friends dog here at daycare (because we live no where near each other).

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who spoils their dog like I do.

Yes!  Ilya is awsome and Rocky loves it!  He spins around in glee every time we walk in the front door!

I'm lucky that they are located just down the street but it's worth the drive.
