Home of the $10 haircut!! Okay, so when you take into consideration you're dealing with a student, not a licensed beautician, this is the BEST deal for your money. I'm not all that concerned about my hair, it's fairly easy to deal with and I can only count on one hand the bad haircuts I've had in my adult life so I'm pretty easy-going and trusting right off the bat with my hair dressers. Paul Mitchell students did not disappoint and I'd highly recommend going here for whatever you need done if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg. I know I'll be returning in 4-5 weeks!

I've received a facial, a haircut and highlights with the students at Paul Mitchell. The worst I've ever walked away from there is looking like nothing had really changed - a pretty glowing review for a bunch of noobs!
The facial room looks a little like a morgue when you first walk in, but once you close your eyes it's as relaxing and quality as any spa or medi-spa I've ever been too!
As for the haircuts/color - I def recommend asking for the 'Phase 2' students. These are the kids about ready to graduate. Its a little but more, but still dirt cheap and worth it. Out of the 4 hair cuts I've gotten there over the years (usually I go to another local salon, but sometimes a girls a little broke) 2 were fantastic, one I was alright with but had to trim a little myself and one cut basically looked like she hadn't done a thing. I think she was nervous - that was the only time I let a Phase 1 student work on my hair.
Overall, if you aren't super picky about your 'do - I recommend saving a few bucks and trying these guys out! They offer tons of services you can look into on the website. -

Found this place to be a life saver! I'd just spent $100 for a haircut in Detroit over the weekend and realized come Monday morning that my hair was too short for me to do anything with it.
Being that most salons are closed on Monday's I panicked because I didn't want to face the folks at my new job looking like a wild woman.
After a tip that the school was opened on Monday's, I called for an emergency appointment. Josh, I believe was the name of the angel who penciled me in, informed me that I could be seen in an hour.
When I arrived I was greeted and was in their glorious shampoo room within 15 minutes! The deep washing and soothing scalp massage alone was worth the trip to Antioch. After relaxing in the shampoo chair surrounded by calming sounds and a soothing waterfall, I nearly fell asleep...I could've stayed in there forever!
My stylist Christina was great. The price certainly can't be beat.
Cool atmosphere, being their made me want to enroll! -

I just had a wonderful facial that was so relaxing. Though this is a school I found Shina Lewis to be as good, if not better than some of the estheticians that have been in the business for years.
