We used to eat here a lot when it first opened. It's a lot nicer than most Filipino establishments in the Bay. A little on the pricey side for a casual restaurant but its well worth it. We made friends with all the servers, the Executive Chef and the Owner so every time we visited they already knew us by face.

We used to joke about the Turon being so fucking good that it "Makes you wanna slap yo Lola!" mwahahaha!

If its your first time you gotta try the Bangus Sisig!!! By far the BEST!

I'm kinda bummed cuz my sister and her hubby brought a few guests  for dinner last week and they said Chef is gone and the food isn't like it used to be. I guess I'll just have to see for myself!

I have a friend who really doesn't care for Filipino restaurants. She gets great Filipino food at home and just doesn't care to have it while she's out. So when she said she wanted to try this place (she's heard good things), I didn't hesitate.

To start with, we got the fried calamari ($9). Though the calamari was tender, the coating was very pale and most of it fell off. We moved on to the crispy pata (1 piece for $10). It's not bad but not the best version I've had. The skin could have been crispier. The sizzling steak salpicao ($15) did not have much flavor and was very oily. The beef was quite fatty. I liked the whole garlic cloves though. As if the pata wasn't enough pork, we got lechon kawali ($11). The pieces of pork were extremely fatty. They barely had any meat on them. Sad to say, but the garlic rice ($4.25) and the steam rice ($1.25) were the best dishes.

In terms of food, this was probably one of the worst Filipino restaurant I've been to. For the price, it needs to be so much better.

A friend we picked up at SFO was requesting that we eat at a Filipino restaurant, he wanted to go to Sinugba. We went to Sinugba the last time we were here so another friend and fellow Yelper Kev M. suggested Patio Filipino. I'm always a little hesitant on going to a Filipino restaurant because I'm Filipino and nothing can beat home cooking. But another friend that was with us never had Filipino food so I was all for introducing her to our cuisine.

Here's what we ordered...

Seafood sinigang - http://static.px.yelp.... Lots of pieces of bangus (milkfish) that was deboned and veggies, good flavor that wasn't too sour with the tamarind broth.

Kare-Kare - http://static.px.yelp.... Huge pieces of oxtail, very rich in flavor with the peanut sauce. I love veggies especially eggplant and they have plenty on top. This dish was huge for just four people to share.

Adobo fried rice - http://static.px.yelp.... Lots of flavor with nice chunks of chicken on top.

Sizzling sisig - http://static.px.yelp.... This was the majorities favorite of the night. The sizzling plate was full of crispy pork goodness, just don't ask what part of the porky it's from.

Guisadong ampalaya - http://static.px.yelp.... I've never been a big fan of ampalaya (bitter melon), I remember always picking this out of pinakbet when I was younger. I actually enjoyed it when I had it at Sinugba, but here the ampalaya was cut it big chunks that scared me. It was pretty bitter to me and the bagoong (shrimp paste) didn't help.

We also ordered the garlic rice but I forgot to take a picture of it.

For dessert we had the Buko con seta http://static.px.yelp.... It's kinda like halo-halo but without the shaved ice. I liked the presentation of it in the coconut shell. The coconut meat was nice and ripe and the ube ice cream on top was my favorite!

For a party of four their portions were very plentiful, I think we only finished off the rice. I think we were all pleased with our meal, especially the Filipino food first timer, she enjoyed the sisig a lot. I don't come up to the Bay Area a lot, so I'll try to come back, but if not I'll be recommending this place to friends on future trips.

Great, clean, Filipino restaurant. A little on the pricey side, thus the -1 star, but they used to have coupons up on http://restuarant.com ($25 for $4 or less). Save room for the turon ala mode with nutella!

How to start a restaurant 101:

1. Make sure your store hours are visible and consistent

Don't say you close at 10 p.m. on your Web site, and then at 9:30 on Yelp. For the record, it's 9:30.

Overall: 3.5
Reservations suggested for this very casual spot that is family friendly.

Food: 4
I liked everything for the most part. No way I would eat this stuff every day but it was just as good as the stuff my girlfriend's relatives make. I thought the ginataan kalabasa, beef and fish sisig and bulalo were very tasty. I didn't care much for the kare kare but the bukko con seta knocked it out of the park. I'd return just for that.

I found the wine list to be pretty weak.

Service: 4
Fast and very friendly.

Decor: 3
Clean and very simple.

Value: 4
Big portions with everything served family style. My waist size went from 29 to 30.

I haven't eaten here in a while, but kudos to the cook who manned the outdoor BBQ grill on those warm summer weekends.  Some of the best-tasting Filipino-style BBQ has been had at this place.  My favorite dish here however, is the Sisig Bangus.  So simple, yet so good.  Refried chopped fish with onions served on its own skin.  To quote the great Erik Morales: "Walang katulad, Manny".  He was talking about San Mig, I'm talkin' bout the Sisig, boss.  The Paella is also excellent.

Damn you for not taking http://Restaurant.com Gift certificates anymore, but I guess that's not that big a deal.  This is just another visit to Patio to explore and find the new flavors that really got to me:

-Paella Valencia - To have to order on the phone ahead of time just brings up the hype on this and to no surprise, it met my expectations.  The flavor and freshness of the seafood were all in the right spots.
-Soft Shelled Crab - just when I thought it was good at fujis, Patios took it to a whole new level (MUST TRY)
-Pork Sigsig - greasy, crispy, crunchity, soul goodness
-Biscol Vegetable Medley - many may have different opinions about this but i just love the okra
-Halo Halo - an interesting dessert that although was my first time, has proven it won't be my last
-Banana and Ice Cream - another new take on banana and ice cream.  Definitely a must get here too!

SOoooo good

So last night's dinner redeemed Patio Filipino in my book because not only the food was on point, the service as well. It helps when you know someone who can speak Tagalog to the waitstaff.

We ordered the bagaoong rice, bangus sisig and the adobong kangkong! It was super delicious the the servings are huge. We had more than enough leftovers to bring home.

i can tell that you need to speak Tagalog when you come here in order to get "whiteman" service for a Filipino. I dont know why our people are like that, but f*ck, if playing the P-card will help me get the food that i expect to get for the money that i will be paying, then so be it.

Bagoong Fried Rice, Adobo ng Kangkong and Bangus na sisig. My mouth just watered as i wrote down these 3 dishes, wtf. must've been that good folks

(FYI, this is as pinay as I get. haha)

We came to San Bruno on an empty stomach and excited to try the food.  Of course that means we ended up eating fast, ordering everything on the menu, and having a ton of delicious left overs the next day. Can't complain.

The reason why 2 people from SJ would drive 45 mins for filipino food?  Curiosity.  Curious about the sizzling pork sisig. We had tasted the goodness of 1 day old leftovers and were surprised how it was still crunchy and fucking delicious even after being refrigerated and microwaved. Naturally, we were even more stoked to try it fresh.

True story. BR was so excited and ate so fast that half way through our meal when his stomach realized it got stuffed to quick he had to excuse himself, yack, then came back to finish the rest of his meal-- SAVAGE, not bulimic, SAVAGE.

That's how good their food is.  It's so legit.  If ever I were to take anyone to a filipino restaurant, filipino or non filipino, this would be it. Their sisig lives up to the hype-- def a tastebud fucker. I love it so much I have to order one to go in anticipation of the many sisig starring  dreams I will be having for nights to come.  Also I gotta put the spotlight on the dish on their menu that doesn't get as much attention but is on the same level as their sisig-- crispy binagoongan. It's crispy pork, salty from the shrimp paste, but neutralized by the mango salsa and eggplant..  DEEEELISH.

I wish you were closer to me:(

Friends and I were debating where to go for dinner, as the day was SOOOO HOT and so pho, ramen, tofu house, etc. were all out of the question.  Thanks to Yelp, we found this place with so many great reviews.

My faves included: the sizzling tofu sisig (small, super cute fried tofu), the plantains in the chicken adobo, and the sizzling bangus sisig.  The beef steak tagalog was pretty good, although a little weird that there were crinkle-cut fries on top.  The sizzling sisig, which came so highly recommended, was a bit on the salty side for me, despite eating it with a lot of rice.  Though there were 7 of us, we ordered 5 dishes, and 5 orders of rice, and that turned out to be plenty.  We ended up not getting dessert here, but the halo halo looked super good, coming in fresh coconut and with the cute little umbrella!

What happened here???

I ate here after a long hiatus with high expectations with a party of 10.
Patio did NOT deliver...

-1STAR: food quality was lacking (Kare kare bland, veggies were limp, Salpicao was overcooked, and dessert ice cream melted and runny!)
-1 STAR: inattentive service

No longer my favorite and will be removed from the TRINITY!   Maybe it's because of a change in ownership/management/cooks???

Better choices at Kuya's, Ihaw Ihaw, and Tribu!

Way too expensive in comparison to similar styles around the area.  Traditional flavors were bland.

We brought a co-worker to enjoy to the flavors of our childhood.  Problem was she was a vegetarian, but was willing to try.  We were hoping they could accommodate.  I know, I know, vegetarian and Filipino do not belong in the same sentence, phrase, or discussion, but the staff could have tried a little here.  We didn't have any similar problems at Max's or Tribu.  They enjoyed the challenge.

Is the "vegetarian" dish was really vegetarian?

Server: "yes."

Oh okay, we'll get that.

Server: "yeah, there's just enough pork for taste."

Uh, okay...

Server (in tagalog)..."who is the vegetarian, the white girl? Why do you bring her here?"

Okay.  I understand the need for meat in the cusine, and in no way am I a vegetarian, but I still like to respect the choices and lifestyles of others.  However, as a business, I'd think you want to bring is as many customers and as much cash as possible.  How hard is it to take the ground pork out of a single stir fry?  And to talk smack about someone in "pront of dem" in another language?  Wow.

if someone were to ask me right now what is my favorite filipino restaurant, I would have to say patio filipino. I would put this spot in the same category as bistro luneta in san mateo and gerry's grill in union city (the nice ambiance dine in type filipino restaurant). foodwise I would choose patio filipino over the other two any day all day.

each time I come here I order way more than what I can eat. the first time I came with my girl, they gave us a two seater table, but when they started bringing out all the food we ordered, they expanding our table. I like salty stuff, so I always order the stuff with bagoong in it. I would say most of the dishes I've tried were great.

even though it might not be down n dirty and authentic as some other places (I wanted some dinuguan but didn't see it), overall rating even with taste as the most important factor, this spot gets first place

I heard the Paella here was quite tasty. Not so. The seafood did not taste fresh, the shrimp was over cooked and the mussels were NOT CLEAN! UGH. And when we were seated the chairs had RICE stuck to them. As for the wait staff you need to speak the language in order to feel welcomed. Our main server was somewhat attentive but slow, a second server who was helping him out obviously did not want to be there, he finally mumbled a few words when the check came.. Tip represented the very awful service.
Make sure someone in your group can speak the language or else service will be non existent.
A few reviewers mentioned classy?? I don't think paper napkins mismatched goblets, cheap stoneware, dirty chairs and bad service is classy.

MABUHAY!!!

I love me my Filipino food.  Mmmm.. mMmm...goooooodddd!!!  Patio Filipino is delicious! And the atmosphere is clean and slightly classier than the café-like feel that many Filipino restaurants normally go for.

The price is reasonable and the food is tasty.  The service can use a little bit of work but I've had worse service at places like Ongpin.  At least at Patio, they show a little sense of urgency with waiting on the tables.

Wish they served Silog dishes all day, though. They would be winners in my book if they did.

Eager to return for another visit, I brought my friend Maria F here to celebrate her birthday and it was a lot of fun. The serene ambiance gave us the perfect environment to catch up on life, and this time I made sure to order ube for the grand finale.

Lumpianitas: Deep fried to golden brown, these little finger wonders were so easy to get addicted to. The embedded ground pork had tons of flavors and the crispy outer layer complimented nicely with the finesse sweet sauce.

Seafood sinigang: Our favorite of the night. We both loved the thick slices of turnip with chunks of eggplant and tomato. The tamarind soup base blended perfectly with the monkfish and a chorus of seafood. Just like my last visit, this dish was the delight of the night.

Steak salpicao: In my last visit I was somewhat disappointed with the dry chicken pieces, and our experience was the same with the salpicao. The beef dish did not have any flavor and the meat was tough, dry, and heavy. I would not recommend this dish to anyone.

Patio Binagoongan rice: The rice was a bit soggy but the nice chunks of chicharron were quite flavorful. We both liked the rice but wished that the chicharron flavor could have been more penetrating.

Ube ice cream: Their ube was smooth, creamy, perfectly balanced between their coconut and taro flavors. We were so full that we had to take a break before ordering this dessert, but the few pounds were worth the gain. Now I'm gonna have to hit the gym hard this summer.

There was plenty of food left to take home. Maria and I agreed to give four stars for a great meal, but next time we will be wiser and avoid the meat dishes.

Out of a large number of Filipino restaurants I have tried in the Bay Area, Patio is the closest I have had to quality/authentic Filipino food.  They consistently have have great food, but the quality of service can sometimes vary.

Also, if you are hungry.....expect a wait because they take a looooong time to cook the food. (probably because most of the food is not precooked, but prepared from scratch)

I would strongly recommend the Sizzling Pork Sisig and the Soft Shell Crab.

Overall, a bit pricy but worth the wait if you want to guarantee you and your friends/family will enjoy the meal.

Yes the food here is tasty good perhaps one of the best filipino restaurants here in the bay. I like their callos, sisig and pancit also, i like their desserts a lot. They also cook it really fast from the time you order. They have good customer service, decent price and my only complaint is that there is no decent parking because their location is on the busy street so you have to park on the street which is hard.

Patio Filipino is HELLA GOOD. I was coming from Sunnyvale going to SF and used my GPS to find the closet filipino food place to eat at. I was hella craving that sisig... so I did not care where my GPS took me. Well, it took me to Patio Filipino. I assumed it was going to be like every filipino food place, where food is already ready at the front, and they just scoop the food you want into a carton. WRONG. It was more classy, a sit down restaurant. The decor was beautiful and the food was not cheap at all. On average, the dishes were about $11-14.

I ened up ordering the sisig and talapia. I LOVED IT. The proportions were good. And the taste of each dish was perfect. I left this restaurant fully statisfied and grateful my GPS found this place, or else I would have never discovered a great filipino restaurant like this.

I wanna bring my momma here! Too bad she lives in LA... missing out.

I can't express my dislike for this place enough. I've had Filipino food, I've loved Filipino food in the past and this was the worst piece of horse swill ever. My poor cats wouldn't even touch it. My fat cats that eat regular human food and practically knock me over when I'm home for dinner wouldn't even touch it.

The bf and I passed it by chance and thought it was a good idea to try out Filipino food since it was so highly rated on Yelp. Well, you let me down Yelp. It was pleasant enough getting sat and looking around at the beautiful decorations and the higher touches of nice lighting and accents but it's the food that ultimately pulls us back in and will ultimately keep me away forever.

Our server took our order right away and to accompany it, we ordered two sweet teas. They had the Camaron Rebosado come out right away, which was basically popcorn shrimp in a puffy batter. It was served with a sweet and slightly spicy chili dipping sauce in a beautiful dish. That was about the only thing edible in the entire meal.

We ordered the Sizzling Sisig and Kare-Kare for entrees. I understand sisig is suppose to be greasy, full of fat and flavor but it shouldn't be full of gristle and squishy parts. I imagine I got nothing but parts of pigs ears and snout. I'm paying $12 for pig ears? And it's scrambled with eggs and onion and swimming in a pool of fat? Gross.

The Kare-Kare was exactly as I'd expect it. Oxtail swimming in a bowl of peanut sauce with bok choy and eggplant. I'm used to more vegetables in the dish but the vegetables weren't even cooked, which was a little disappointing. We picked away at the fatty oxtail and it turned out there was only a bit of meat on each oxtail.

The worst part was that the server never brought over our drinks until I asked for the bill. When we told him to just cancel them, he came over and just plopped them on the hard glass table anyway and said, "keep them." That was completely rude and unnecessary but what wasn't our mistake-it was his.

The whole meal was an utter disappoint and a pity. We ended up wasting our time, money and space in our stomach for real food. I wrapped up the Sisig and the oxtails to feed it to the cats but got no takers. I then took it outside to feed the alley cats and that also didn't get a good reaction but rather some angry yowls. Even the cats were smarter than us for not eating it.

The first time I went to Patio was about 3 years ago, and ever since then, I've been a fan.  They peg themselves as Filipino-Spanish fusion, but I find it redundant since almost anything Filipino is Spanish-influenced.  In any case, it's really good restaurant if you are looking for something a level higher than your typical Goldilocks.  The staff is really friendly, as are most Filipino establishments.  The Lumpia Shanghai is perfectly fried, and they give you a good amount.  The Miki Bihon is really flavorful, and goes down as one of the best pancits outside of my house growing up.  The Bistek has the perfect amount of twang to the sweetness of the onions, which makes it the best candidate to eat with plain steamed rice.

Again, I will reiterate that I will never give a Filipino restaurant 5 stars.  Only my mom's kitchen will get that level of respect, but hey, 4 stars is pretty good (in case the Patio owner is reading this).

After only reading Yelp reviews about this place and seeing pictures, I had some high expectations. These expectations were not really met.

I don't know why, but I was expecting a really nice exterior like a nice wooden deck and roof. Maybe some tiki torches and spacious area. But it was not like this. The interior of the place is beautiful though--spacious, nice plates and utensils.

The service was great. Loved it. 16% tip!

I ordered the Sizzling Sisig. I would strongly suggest that you do NOT get this dish here. The meat was kinda hard and crunchy. The dish wasn't really sizzling when it came. It was sort of tasty, but it could have been a lot better. I hear the sisig at Ihaw Ihaw down the street is a lot better. My eating partner ordered the Tilapia Crunch, it was good, worth getting again. We both shared a Garlic Rice, it was more than enough and it was good. The dishes are slightly pricey by the way. Our bill was about $35 (tax+tip) for two dishes and rice.

I hear the kare-kare is delicious here so try that perhaps.

Unfortunately they did not have the dessert I wanted which was the ube ice cream in a coconut. This disappointed me.

I doubt I'll come back because I hear highly about many other places. But if some people are eager to go here I would not mind coming at all. Bottom line is that everything is pretty good except the exterior and the sisig, bummer!

I have come to believe that I was born Filipino in another life time. Or maybe the fact that growing up, my closest friends were Filipino. Regardless, I have always come to appreciate the culture, especially the delicious cuisine!

Patio Filipino offers a great array of different Filipino & Spanish influenced dishes. We started off with the fried calamari, which was cooked to the right crispiness & the lemon aioli sauce was a perfect pairing! The beef Sinigang Soup (tamarind broth) was delicious! I love to secretly scoop garlic rice into the soup...YUM! The Chicken Adobo was marinated well, and the Sizzling Sisig (chopped pork, onion, egg, & jalapenos, on a sizzling platter) paired well with the garlic rice! Of course I had to wash it down with Calamansi Juice (a refreshing citrus juice).

Dessert? Duh! I couldn't leave without having the Buko con Seta (sort of like a Halo-halo served in a coconut: with Ube ice cream & different sweet beans). I love the mini umbrella it comes with, feels like a tropical vacation!

Overall, I had a fantastic dinner at Patio Filipino. I warn you, expect to be full...it was a pretty heavy meal! Also, keep in mind this may be a fancier & bit more pricier Filipino restaurant compared to others, but the dining area is very nice & clean. The service was quick & they were very friendly.

I can't wait to go back & try the other dishes on the menu. Patio Filipino, Salamat for an excellent meal & the start of endless cravings! :)

We went here for a birthday dinner.  We were a party of 14 people, but the place was crowded.  People kept coming in for "to go" orders. I even saw one of my friends from 20 years ago! Because there were so many people, it was loud, which was nice for us since I have 2 small children that could be loud at times.

The sisig was delicious. I never had it cooked with an egg on top before, and it had enough jalapeno in every bite!  The kare-kare was tender and full of peanut buttery goodness.  The bangus had a taste of lemon in every bite.

I wanted to eat dessert, but there wasn't enough room in my tummy.
I'll have to save room for the next time I go.

This was my first time trying Filipino cuisine so maybe it's an acquired taste. I'm glad I tried it, but won't be coming back anytime soon.

The service could be better and there were fruit flies everywhere! Drinks were slow to come out as well.

This place is not as bad as I thought it would be. I came in thinking it was just like most filipino restaurants...  But this place was a bit more classy. Heck, you pay for it too with the nice painting on the wall and the stereotypical long chandelier lights. A bunch of good friends came with, and we ordered a pretty good combo of ulam to pair with garlic fried rice.

The kare kare was awesome, everything we expected it to be. The adobo was good, and I was happy of course since I was able to get the piece with the butt connected to it. The sisig I wasn't too impressed with, but it wasn't half bad either. However, the bistik.... Ugh. All I know is, when I saw it being placed on the table, with the french fries on top, all I could think was... Wow, we paid 12 bucks for that. But besides the visual disappointment, the bistik tasted the way it was supposed to.

Now, I usually don't complain about pricing, but many of the reviewers are right. Coming from a country where we can eat the same exact food for so much less, it just looks bad. In fact, cooking some of it is not that hard. I had such a good time with my friends, but I couldn't ignore it. So in conclusion, if you come here, order the stuff that is harder to make (Kare kare for example) or you're going to feel like you could have just made it at home and saved a whole lot. If you know where I'm coming from that is.

Came here to celebrate a friends birthday, when we walked in we were the only group there besides a small family on the opposite side but an hour later this place was packed. Crowds usually follow great food but that just wasn't the case here. The amazing woman who we were there to celebrate cooks far better Filipino food.

I was just so underwhelmed. The halo halo was good but the food was just meh. Everything had huge amounts of soy in it which just wasn't my thing - oh well :(

+ for what it was, really expensive and not worth the price

If this is what real filipino food taste like, I COMPLETELY understand why filipinos have hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol......

I came here with really high expecations.  I even ordered what most people recomended.  I was trying so hard to Iike this place but everything was just too salty.  I wanted my friend to try real filipino food cause the most she's ever had was at Luck Chances 3am drunk...*sigh*

Pork Sisig-salty
Longanisa Sisig- salty but tasty
Crispy Binagoongan- salty /burnt

Bicol Express-excellent
our Waiter/Server-excellent

Too full to order dessert.
I had the leftovers for lunch and it taste great.  4 stars is being generous..
I'm willing to give it another try. Maybe not so much meat next time.

We came together to honor my Grandpa's death anniversary here at Patio Filipino...

There were 12 of us and we ordered:

Lumpianitas - shanghai lumpia (it was a hit w/ our soon to be 2 year old niece!)
Pancit Canton - was good but my Pop makes it better ;)
Sizzling soft shell crab - according to my Mom it was good.
Sizzling Pork Sisig - was nice and lemony..though it should've had more of a 'sizzling' quality to it.
Lechon Kawali - perfect
Kare Kare - it was too thick and 'peanuty' tasting..but still good none the less
Binagoong Rice - was a hit! the bagoong and mango was on point!
Crispy Pata - nice and crunchy
Bangus Belly - the salted egg and mango salad on the side was sooo good and salty!!!

We ordered almost 2 of everything .. OMG...when the food kept coming all our eyes bugged out because it was SO MUCH FOOD!

But hey, we all got to pack a bunch of leftovers...

Everything was delicious and top quality...the only thing lacking in the beginning was service at the front, but our waiter ended up being cool, and was able to manage our large party quite well.

For dessert we all shared a couple of the Buko con Seta which is Patio's version of halo-halo..but if you're looking for the real deal halo-halo with the shaved ice...you're wrong...there's no shaved ice but plenty of ice cream and buko inside - scrumptious!

We all agreed this was a great place to come together with family and honor our Gramps!

I love this place! I can't believe I didn't know about it any sooner. My favorite is the pork sisig. They're soup was really good too! I forgot which one it was exactly...sorry! I just wish the poor sisig had just a tad bit bigger proportion. The waitress and everyone there is really friendly. The place looks really nice. It may be a bit pricy for some but its WORTH every single penny! Our bill came up to about 60? If I recall...lol and we still had a little bit of left overs with the 5 of us.

This is my favorite Filipino Restaurant.  Although it can be a little pricey.  It's family style and if you come here with a big family, order up! Some of the dishes might be a little to rich for some folks but I like my Filipino food bursting with flavor. My favorite "go to dish" has to be their sisig! It's crispy and comes sizzling on a iron skillet. Mmmmm crispy sizzling goodness.

We had a college reunion here and man everything was great!

The atmosphere was relaxing, food scrumptious, service impeccable, and price reasonable.  It was a great restaurant all-around!

Let's talk about food.  We ordered Bangus Sisig (Milkfish), Lechon Kawali (pork side), Bistek Tagalog (sliced beef), Chicken Pork Adobo (chicken and pork).  All were yumm though the sliced beef was a little dry for us.  We also ordered desserts (Turon a la Mode & Chocolate Matador) and both were delishhhhh!

The servers were very friendly.  We were really a bit loud (haven't seen each other for a while) but they never gave us a hard time.  heehee.  Our water was always refilled quickly when it was emptied.

The parking is a bit trickier-circle around to the side and you will see a lot that is not specified that it belongs to the Patio Filipino.  Instead, you will see a couple of doors with numbers on them (not 1770 or the house number of the restaurant, but 1780 I think.)  Doubt not, you are at the right lot.

Highly recommended!

Thank God for this tasty and comfortable place. Most Filipino restaurants are hole in the walls. So when I walked in, I was surprised to walk into a beautiful and clean restaurant. The flavors are amazing with a lot of bang, nothing subtle like Palencia in the Castro. My favorite is the Chicken adobo, pork sisig, carne ala cubana, and the sizzling steak salpicao. I think the only dish that disappointed was the lumpia of all things! It turned out to be dry and not as flavorful as everything else.  Other than that, the food and the welcoming staff was refreshing. Please please try this place!!

Expensive! However, I really like their fried calamari and lumpia. The Sizziling Steak Salpicao is not good though. It's overly seasoned, and overcooked. Unless you like salt (A LOT), I wouldn't suggest you order this. The interior design was very pretty though.

"Sarap!" Love Filipino food and love this restaurant! Every time my parents come to visit we eat here because of the bangos sisig, sinigang, crispy pata, and buco dessert...ooooh deelish!  When craving Filipino food, I order to go and never had to wait long. Also, the restaurant decor is modern with a touch on Pinoy culture. The waiters are friendly and the food is great!
