4 reviews for Patang
I asked my Indian neighbors where they go for Indian food in Westchester and they recommended this place. Although I am not an Indian food expert, I have been to many Indian restaurants in my life, especially lunch buffets. This one is perhaps the best I've been to. They have a very wide selection of items to choose from and each one was very good. The service was also very attentive and friendly. Now I know that I don't have to go into the City or Queens for good Indian food.

Great place to get delivery or order out from. They keep your ordering history on file so when you call, you don't have to remember what you got last time...they can tell you! The staff is very friendly! Yummy...go.
I generally go for the lunch buffet. I've taken many friends and everyone's enjoyed it. The weekend buffet is pricier but has more to offer. Highly recommended to Indian food lovers. Just don't overdo it. The first time I ate here I ate so much I nearly exploded. Indian food is dense stuff.

I just loveeeeee Indian food b/c i'm a ridiculously huge lover of anything curry and spicy. This is my favorite place to get Indian food in Westchester other than the mecca of Indi or Paki or Bengali in Jackson Heights and thank goodness there is Patang in Yonkers. I remember when they first started as a small Indian restaurant and I would go there for my solo lunch for 6.99 buffet. Back then it was really busy with Westchesterian residents. The restaurant has expanded for some years now, actually tripled in size which also includes a banquet room and locals still go there. I even recognize familiar faces, definite fans like myself. The buffet has a good amount of variety, all of my favorite, not sure if it will suit strict vegetarians though. The food has great taste, just enough spice and a lot of flavor. Buffet is only during lunch (about 10 - 12 bucks) and regular menu for dinner (12 - 16/dish). I suggest you tell the waiter how spicy you want your dinner. I stress that I want "Indian spicy" and not "American spicy" (some of you might understand what I mean when I say that) and the cook is very willing to meet my needs. I am always seated right away and the waiters are fabulous. Yep, this my local fav Indian restaurant!
