Being an Artist you have to know where to get your supplies no matter how you get it either by catalogue or the internet. Pat Catan's is recommended by all UA Art instructor's to tell the students where to find supplies that won't hurt the wallet.

My sister is a freelance designer and I, myself is an artist doing still life drawings and many other things.  The best thing to do is first become a VIP member.  This will allow you to pay 50% off the white ticket items instead of 40%. When the holidays approach, they will send a flyer where there will be more discounts taken off on certain tickets.  Always look for Clearance section because they are either discontinued or making room for new stock.

Each Pat Catan store is specialized on certain things i.e. Weddings, Art, Jewerly and etc.

So if you are a crafter, hobbyist, novice or an artist this is the place you should go first.  And keep an eye out for more reviews on other places for inexpensive art supplies.
