In a desperate bid to escape the everyday monotony of overpriced 'fine' dining [read Princeton]... my friends and I decided to venture out of high-price territory in search of good Indian food.  With a friend's consultation and a map from Google in hand , we though we had directions covered.  Unfortunately, this place was pretty hard to find, even AFTER calling the restaurant for directions.

The food here was great!  I came here with 4 Indian friends and they all agreed... We got the Chicken Biryani which I thought was pretty good, a veg biryani which I didn't get to try, and some other chicken saucy dish and 2 other dishes... Unfortunately because I left the ordering to them, I had no idea what we ultimately got but everything was TASTY!  Family styling it was fun and we each ended up shelling out about $17 with tax and tip..

As JT said above, this place is pretty big so I'd imagine it'd be pretty good for groups.  They have a separate dining area which I think you can rent out but not entirely sure.

Pros: Tasty food, very spacious!
Cons: A little on the pricey side, hard to find!
Verdict: Would come back again :)

Apparently as of January 1 of this year, new owners have taken over this establishment.

Anyway, it's a big place with lots of seating.  It's clean and the decor isn't too overdone. The lunch buffet consists of three veggie dishes, rice, naan, and usually two chicken dishes for $8.99.  It's packed at lunch time, and the buffett line is super long, so make sure you plenty of time for lunch.

Personally, I really enjoy the buffett here, more than the others in the area.  The dishes don't pack in too much heat, as they realize they're catering to an Americans, but that doesn't stop them from packing in a lot of flavor.

I think I'll check this place out for dinner sometime soon, as I'll be able to order the same great dishes packed with flavor, but with some heat as well.

I've been here for lunch at least 5 times, and it's always good food, great service, nice atmosphere, attention to detail, and a varied selection. The price is a little bit high, in my opinion, but it's always delicious.
