We came through here extremely hungry and ready to eat. We first walked in and was at first worried that it didn't have a real restaurant sitting area like their other location off Sloat, but our fears were calmed after we walked to the end of the hallway and to the left we saw all the tables. We were told to sit anywhere we liked and were given menus. Their menu and lots of great selections, like many Italian restaurants, but also some unique ones like wings or potatoes. A very well rounded menu.
We had to wait a while to order our food, get our food, and get our check ... but everything other then that was good. Our server was very nice and funny. Our food was good, but my favorite was the different types of breads for the appetizer ... yum!
I would eat here again, but it isn't one of my favorite pizza places. I'd probably go back here for their appetizers or to try their many other dishes.
Always the best. Best pizza, best service, best waitstaff, best pizza, best delivery, best delivery-phone person, best pizza, best salads, best pizza. The best.
I like consistency.
Since I've always passed this place and saw a few good things on Yelp, I came here on a weekday night where we only spotted about 3 other tables being occupied.
Initial thought - less people, less wait time on food.... right? WRONG, the garlic bread took 40 minutes to come out. To make things worse, a couple of folks came about 30mins after we did, ordered garlic bread, got their order of garlic bread in about 5 minutes.
Entree time - this was one of the worst Italian entrees that I've had, I've order creme broccoli w/ pasta (forgot the exact dish name). I literally saw lumps of oil on my pasta and broccoli.
Check please - I waited about 10mins to get the check, when it finally showed up, I paid with my credit card. Gave the check back to another waitress, she insisted that I didn't pay even though I signed the receipt... Then comes running the other waitress, having to explain to the other waitress that we've paid already.... and here I am leaving with a exit note of "does clowns operate this restaurant? The food is a joke, the waitresses are confused, and barely touched the laughable entree."
I tried Pasquale's pizza because the people I babysit for LOVE it, and always order from there. So i tried it out. Got it for pickup because they don't deliver (and even if they did I live 4 blocks away and if I can't walk 4 blocks then I don't deserve to eat pizza). It was mediocre, and kind of expensive. don't judge me, but it's better to get Dominos + lava cake. If I had a choice between pizza places, Pasquales is not my pick.
For reasonable prices and big portions, Pasquales's Pizza is a good place to hit up after a long day in the park. The pizzas are a good size and the pasta is tasty, but my favorite dishes are the baked dishes. I even tried the shrimp salad here on a whim and it was probably the worst salad I've ever bought because it was indeed swimming in dressing and piled high with baby shrimp and not jumbo shrimp. Other than that, I've been here a few times and every time has been a satisfying experience.
Be prepared for friendly waiters and filling plates.
After a long day at the Alice Radio Now / Zen Fest 2009 free concert in Golden Gate Park, we were exhausted and looking for a place relatively close to eat. After a decidedly indecisive period of deliberating, we agreed to go to get Italian upon seeing Pasquale's. Pasta and pizza is always a good/safe choice for everyone. It looked pretty nondescript on the outside and seemed pretty mellow, which was perfect for us.
Upon setting foot inside, the place immediately gave off this indescribable aura of "legit-ness". Its hard to describe. There is the counter at the entrance where you see people hand preparing pizzas, the decorations inside, and just the overall atmosphere. Maybe it was just the crowd and the time we went, but it was a very calm and friendly environment.
Upon sitting, we got promptly served some very sour sourdough. It may have been my imagination, but maybe our bread was a taaad bit underbaked? I dunno. It was pretty tasty anyway, no real complaints. it went great with the butter they provided and was gone pretty quickly. Our group ordered some pizzas and a friend ordered a shrimp salad. I must say though, this place makes some impressive thin crust pizza. The crust was very crisp, the ingredients were quality, and it came fairly promptly. I got the mushroom, peperonni, and salami (?) pizza. It is worth noting they give a loooot of toppings, which is a huge plus in my eyes. I finished about half the pizza and took the rest home and a day later, I was pleasantly surprised that it reheats VERY well. Yay.
I don't go out to that area of SF very often and I prefer trying new places before going to a place I've eaten at before, so I don't know if i'll return anytime soon. I dunno if I say the same about their other offerings (pasta, salad, etc), but if you have a urge to get some good thin crust pizza, Pasquale's is a very good choice to get your fix.
So one late Sunday I was looking for running shoes. So now it's dark and the exhaust from the restaurants are pumping out food smell like east coast coal burning factories.
The night air was warm and and blowing slower than a snails crawl. With that being said, the smell of Chinese food, steaks grilling, Kurry, pasta, and coffee was just running wild in the area. This was not helping my appetite or or my decision making.
I turn the corner and saw an old neon light sign shining Pizzeria in the middle. Right above Pizzeria I read in cursive Pasquale's. Being a sucker for old style neon signs and Italian names I said why not. While walking up, I yelped this place and almost everyone was talking about the pizza.
So I walk across the street and saw the whole pizza making area from the sidewalk. The pizza lab was well lit, clean, and you can just tell these guys know what they were doing. So I now walk in and saw walk past the pizza lab and juke box. The hostess that night was nice and led me to a table. So I'm walking across the room and saw that everyone is digging on the pizza. I'm thinking to myself "All they have is pizza". I'm seated and open the menu. Wow they have more than pizza.
I love pizza, but I when I read the menu and saw this place had more to offer I figure why not try a plate. Pasta, salads, and sandwiches........ooooh grilled chicken with fried prawn. When the server came back to take my order she brought a basket of toasted soar dough bread. Ahhhhh sour dough bread I love sour dough bread.
So 10-15 minutes pass and I'm sipping on my tea, and digging on the bread. BAM my meal arrives, hot, steaming, and looking good. So I was happy to see my order of grilled chicken and fried prawns was accompanied by mushrooms, steam veggie, and a plate of pasta with meat sauce.
To make a long story short, the chicken was moist and had flavor. I don't like mushrooms but the mixture of the chicken complimented it each other and the prawns were a delightful. All in all everything tasted fresh, and better than most places I've been to. For the quality and amount of food, the price was great.
I've so far have been to Pasquale's a total of 3 times and have tried the chicken parmigiana and bruschetta. Needless to say they were was hella good . The only bad thing is parking.
I'll try the pizza next time and see if that will give it the big cinco star.
My next review will be short
I give this place a 3 Stars because they make good pizzas. Whether you are ordering off the menu or creating your own topping choices, you can never go wrong. They can also make the pizza dough extra thin like the Neapolitan style or even extra crispy by request. I usually like my pizza thin and crispy.
The restaurant is very family style oriented like an Italian trattoria. It is a place where locals living in the neighborhood go and a place where everybody working at the restaurant knows your name. The wait staff have been working there forever so the services you get is consistent. The most exciting part of the restaurant has to be the long pizza counter by the window where you can watch the chefs toss pizza dough in the air and construct the pizzas from scratch.
The pasta on the other hand is not impressive. Almost every time I order a pasta dish the pasta are over cooked and never al dente. Also in my opinion, they are a little generous with the sauce or should I say too generous because the pasta is always swimming in the sea of marinara or white cream sauce. However their lasagna is very hearty and baked to perfection with a healthy portion enough for two.
Other dishes like veal Milanese, egg plants Parmesan, veal piccata are well made, home-style cooking and simple recipes that are worth trying.
No doubt I am not thrill with their pasta, but I like going to Pasquale mainly because I've been going there for years now, the staff are friendly and services are good every time. Pasquale is not a fancy, 5-Star Michelin's restaurant, but it is a comfortable, casual local hang out with good Italian food.
Delicious pizza and pasta. It's a distance from where I live and work in SOMA/Financial District. But, a delicious Italian place nonetheless. Prices are decent and it's got that downright, hole in the wall feel to it.
I sometimes come here with a couple of friends after working out. I have to agree with many of the yelpers that the pizza here is amazing. It's best if you dine in. The staff are really friendly. This was also the first place I discovered artichoke is a delicious topping to have on your pizza. Whenever we go, we each choose a topping (a large pizza can generously feed 4 people for a very reasonable price). I'm a big mushroom fan! Our usual combination consist of artichokes, sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom.
The servers make sure your water is constantly filled. The noise level is peaceful. Parking can be challenging (Irving st.) but around 9pm, it's not bad at all.
I love this place.
Final Thoughts: mmmm....artichokes
No pepperoncini in their antipasto salad??!! They swore that antipasto salads never came with these peppers. I refrained from tossing my provolone in the woman's face. I curled my lip at her. This alone was unforgivable.
Pizza? The quality has certainly changed; 28 years ago this was considered the best in SF. Not any more, I'm afraid. Bless their hearts, they are trying...
This place was pretty good ^__^
This is my favorite pizza resto in the world!
I've been coming here ever since 2004. As soon as you step into the restaurant you smell the tomato sauce, and that gets my mouth watering.
I'll base this review on my favorite dish. The House Special pizza. This pizza reminds me of how good pizza must taste to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Michaelangelo just scarfs down slices and sometimes whole pies as if it was so satisfying to the senses as to what the first shot of heroin must feel to heroin addicts.
The tomato sauce, sausage and cheese go perfectly well. The thin crust is somewhat soggy but crunchy in the middle and every bite will make your eyes roll back and make you say "mmmm". The pies are not your typical eat-with-hand pies, they're very soggy and the cheese is stringy. So the best way to eat a slice is with a fork and knife or to fold your slice in half, long ways. The food alone is great, but that's no reason to forget about mentioning the staff. their great staff. They are very courteous and attentive. So the whole experience at Pasquale's Pizza is complete.
Just writing this review makes me want to go out of my way from 5th st and Mission to Irving st. for lunch. Which would be worth it!
The lavatory is a single room restroom, which is good for privacy. It is well kept and spacious.
I highly recommend the House Special. Other items on the menu that are tasty are the chicken/buffalo wings.
their pizzas are sometimes great and sometimes so-so. it has to do with sogginess though, not rancid cheese or toppings (like milano's, ew) so it's always edible .
decent pasta dishes and super fast (and late!!) delivery seal the deal.
Here's a little ditty and it goes like this:
Our heroes, four roomies from Noe Valley, were charged with a feat: find delicious, filling Italian food for a decent price. They set out by the light of the full moon, mounted great hills and arrived around 8th and Irving. After vanquishing the parking demons, our heroes took a victory stroll to the towards the glowing lights of Pasquale's.
Here, folks, is where the adventure turns to romance. As soon as we walked in, a bulky man was talking loudly in Italian. The place was genuine and Mita, The Good Fairy, descended upon us bearing scrolls in a language we understood - Food. Tap water in unbreakable glasses filled the table and hot, sour, par-baked, crusty bread was consumed with a lusty zest (and pats of butter.)
After waving her wand over the magic pad, she vocally proclaimed each of our choices as 'DELICIOUS' - cheese ravioli with pesto, creamy fettucini alfredo, chicken parmagiano sandwich (the BEST!), and Napolean steak sandwich. After Mita validated the heroism of the choices, the heroes settled into the atmosphere: gentle rumble of the good folks, the soft 'pfuff' of pizza dough being thrown into the air, the small child finding delight at hiding under the large, Italian man's table.
Then, the crowning glory - the food was GOOD. Hero-sized portions, hero-sized flavor, lay-people prices. The Heroes were happy and in love with the joint as well as with Mita, the bearer of Laughter and Good Food.
The heroes returned over the hill and expect to make the trek on a regular basis. And they all lived happily ever after.
The End
All you need to know is Carbonara Stuffed Potato. Do not question it, just order it. Smashed potato covered in Carbonara sauce. This gut buster is best shared as no human alive should finish it.
After that, and some salad, I could barely get in a few bites of pizza. But the few bites I did get were very good. Don't even remember what kind of pizza we had, due to the food coma.
I'm confused...
Me: I'd like to order a small half-and-half specialty pizza.
Pasquale's Pizza: If you want to order a half-and-half, we have to charge you one specialty pizza, plus $1.30 for each topping of the second half of the pizza.
M: Wait, so the base price is $15 and the second side has 5 toppings, so it looks like we are paying an extra $6.50 just for the toppings on just half of a pizza?
PP: Yes, that is how we charge for half-and-halves.
M: So we'll be paying $21 for a small half-and-half?
PP: Yeah.
M: Nevermind.
Whatever... doesn't make sense, but we ordered the Mediterranean (pesto and garlic) pizza. Overall, the pizza wasn't all that. The first bite of a pizza is always good. I liked the crispy crust. It was nice and cheesy too. The second bite of a pizza determines its greatness in sauce and flavor entirety. Unfortunately, the flavor simply dissipated after the second bite. I could barely taste the flavorless pesto sauce and there wasn't much taste to the crust.
So, I'm happy that we didn't spend $21 on a small pizza... I'm even more happy that Milano's pizza http://www.yelp.com/bi... is just right up the block!
Good little Italian spot. Prices are fair and the food portions are generous. I definetly recommend the pesto ravioli.... delicious:). The pizza is also pretty good here. One con is some of the wait staff can be a bit spacey and service is a bit slow when it gets crowded. Other than that, a really good place to eat and relax.
I don't understand. I've had their pizza a number of times and it was always so good but the other day, we went and ordered a mushroom and olive pizza and it was wet. The middle of the pizza had a pool of water on it and there was no way we were going to be able to eat the whole thing before it got soggy. The caesar salad, however, was large and tasty.
I oversold the pizza though. So disappointing.
Took home an extra large combination pizza, green bell peppers, sausage, olives, tomatoes, and pepperoni. Not the best or worst pizza in town. It was good yet tasted strangely familiar to Sabarro's, and trust me when I say I know Sabarro's. My past roommate used to bring home Sabarro's from work every Thursday. How I miss those days.
One problem with the pizza. By the time the pizza made it home, the center of the pizza pie had fused itself to the box. When we tried to take a slice the center would not free itself. An annoyance that could probably be avoided by wax paper.
Mediterrean (spinach, tomatoes, onions, pesto and garlic) pizza with a thin crust... DELICIOUS!! I would order from this place all the time if they were open late night! I mean like 2 or 3am for some good drunken pizza.
They have a pretty extensive menu, going from fried calamari appetizers, garlic bread to sandwiches to pastas, entrees, and pizzas. Their specialty pizzas run from $16-24. The prices are pretty decent, and won't break your wallet. I haven't had much aside from their pizzas, but their specialty pizzas are delicious! They can accommodate large groups. What's best of all is that you can order pizza and bring it over to Yancy's! Great for any sports game at Yancy's.
I would definitely choose this place over Milano's ANY DAY. Only thing is that they don't serve pizza by the slice, nor do they do delivery. It's not a fancy restaurant, just average looking, but it's a good place to go if you're craving pizza!
I smelled pizza from a block away that smelled so delicious that I just couldn't pass this place up. My bff and I walked in and the owner greeted us. Very friendly place.
PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA. Get on it!!
Only thing I didn't like - the service. She was forgetful and slow. T_T**
I came here a while back and I remember being really happy with my meal of lasagna and house combination pizza. However, I've been here a couple of times more recently, and it doesn't seem to be as good as I remember.
Ordered the Sausage and Mushroom and Meat Eater pizzas the last couple of times, and they were pretty decent. However, I wasn't overwhelmed at all...probably because I'm not a fan of their red sauce after the second slice or so. The pies are still okay overall, but nothing I would be craving for.
The pasta dishes, on the other hand, are not too shabby. On the most recent trip, we ordered the Spaghetti with Pesto Sauce, which was a nice dish that wasn't drowning in sauce. Also, the aforementioned lasagna plate is tasty as well. I saw a neighboring couple order the Spagetti Alla Carbonara, and I've already tabbed that as my next order - no need for the menu! The fact that they have Sapporo and Peroni bottles available with your pizza are also a definite plus though - how often can you get your Italian food with an Italian AND Japanese beer at the same time?
Tried this place on a whim - we'd seen their delivery guys around our place, so knew they'd make it here.
The plain cheese pizza is as close to what I used to get in NJ as I've had since moving to SF. Crust is a bit too crunchy, and there's less oregano than when I was a kid. Good chicken wings. My wife had sausage, mushrooms, and onions - she liked it a lot as well.
I've always been a big fan of Pasquale's pizza, but I had never had it inside the restaurant. The norm for me is usually having it picked up and enjoyed among a big group of friends inside Yancy's Saloon on the same block. Their crust is really pretty average and is slightly thicker than a good thin crust, but they definitely pile on the toppings. Their Meat Eater and Charbroiler Chicken are a couple of my favorites. It is countless times better once you've had a few drinks at Yancy's.
Pasquale's stays open pretty late, and I've always wondered about their large menu which features a wide selection of pasta dishes, meat and seafood entrees, appetizers, charbroiled meats and hot sandwiches. I got out early from work one night recently to finally give the dining room at Pasquale's a try.
The place was still pretty busy around 10 PM. I made eye contact with the waiter who gestured to me to take any seat. I did so as the waiter walked over, greeted me and placed a menu on my table. For those of you curious about the menu I've scanned and copied a scaled down version and posted it in the photos section. I was a bit hungry and thinking along the lines of which dish would yield the least wait time. I settled on the Half Spaghetti, Half Ravioli. You choose between cheese or meat raviolis. I had the cheese. Meatballs can be added to any of the traditional pasta dishes so I asked for that. They give you a choice of four sauces: meat, marinara, Alfredo or pesto. I selected the meat sauce.
The kitchen was definitely working on a fast pace on this night. Within two minutes of placing my order the waiter brought me my soft drink along with a partial loaf of hot, crusty sourdough French bread. The little pats of butter were chilled solid so I moved a couple of pats and allowed the hot bread to hover over them. Worked like a charm as the the butter softened a short time later. Chewy and crusty on the outside, hot and soft on the inside the bread was excellent.
Before I had even finished my first slice of bread my pasta arrived (http://static.px.yelp....). The waiter joked that the kitchen was a bit slow that night. The raviolis are big and round here. I cut into a meatball and it was nice and firm (http://static.px.yelp....). The meatball was excellent with good flavor, good texture and a firmness to my liking. The ricotta cheese-like filling inside the ravioli was very good. The spaghetti was cooked al dente. The meat sauce had big chunks of ground meat and was good in flavor but a bit on the runny side. I would have enjoyed a thicker sauce.
Overall, it was exactly what I had hoped for. I got a delicious, filling, hot dinner with excellent service and very little wait time. I'm sold on Pasquale's, and I'll be back.
For 2 people, I ordered a medium pizza with pesto, mushrooms, and sausage. I love this combo!! it's my favorite pizza combo at any pizza place. So i had to try it here again and compare.
A small pizza is 6 slices.
A medium pizza is 8 slices.
For the medium pizza with 3 toppings + tax and tip = came out to $21.00.
The pizza: I loved the crust! i love somwhat thin, crunchy, crust. It tasted fresh and just how i like it. Even with my favorite toppings though, the pizza wasn't my favorite per say. I've had better. But overall, i was left satisfied.
The waitress was nice and chill too :)
My friends came over with a pie one night a while back and it was wrong. I feel like if you're not marketing yourself as a specialty or gourmet pizza place, please do not put seafood on your pizzas.
Pasquale's pizza looked and smelled like a cheese-of-the-sea pizza. Watching a lot of Lydia Bastianich growing up, she taught that true Italians do not put cheese products in certain seafood dishes, one of them being clams. The clams baked into the cheese gave the pizza a gummy look and sour smell, but my friends ate it while I found something else to eat.
I have actually dined inside Pasquale's but that was such a long time ago I barely remember what we ate there. Obviously it didn't stick with me because I never went back and the only reason I was re-introduced was because my friends brought it. Oh well, you can't be good at everything.
I do remember the wait staff being very nice and the Latino dough guys were super sweet.
There are pluses and minuses to this pizza but Sure, I'll order from here again depending on what kind of pizza I want. So what they do well is their cheese. They use a good amount of cheese and it's actually kinda stringy just the way I like it. They put a decent amount of toppings too.
The thing that got me was that there was not enough sauce. Or if there was, it wasn't too tasty. I don't like it when some places put too much sauce and it gets messy but I feel like a really good pizza place puts just the right amount and they just didn't do it for me.
Maybe I'll try ordering extra sauce next time and see where that takes me....
June 1 update from my last update
Dang. Read my update below. Ok, so tonight, after having a horrible day and no time to hunt for an alternative I called Pasquale's again. I ordered, and I also told the guy that my last pizza came burnt, and the topping were skimpy. I was nice about it figuring that good manners always gets you very far. He assured me he'd watch over it himself.
Nice
BUT ok, the toppings were perfect the pizza was burnt on the bottom. Yet it was undercooked.
Ok - I give up. Villa Romano I'll try you next. This is a very sad day for me as I've been eating this pizza for . . . .I won't say, it will disclose my age. But let's just say, you weren't born yet.
here's my last update
BOO !
After raving about Pasquales to a friend we ordered in.
The pizza blew.
Dry
A smattering of toppings
Tasteless
Awful
I'm so bummed
There goes my reputation

Well I must say.....Pasquale's delivers an EXCELLENT pizza. Way better than Irving Pizza, for instance. Chances are if you're reading this you can choose between the two.
Choose Pasquale's.
I wanted to try Milano's but it was closed for Memorial day. My friends were still in the mood for pizza so we headed to Pasquale's. I've never tried this place, but always saw the guys kneading and pounding dough when I used to live in the area.
We got a table in the back room. I don't know why it's so dark back there. All the tables by the windows were taken so we sat underneath the black light which made our water cups glow a florescent purple.
We ordered one of the 12" (6 slices) specialty pizzas. It had mushrooms, sausages and pepperoni (forgot the name). Our pizza came out late (my other friends had ordered entrees and were about half way done with it before the pizza came out) but it came out hot. Maybe a bit too hot? The pie dough was crust (I looked underneath my slice) and was not that impressed with the dough. It is a thin pizza but the pizza was over cooked and the cheese tasted rubbery. I've definitely had better...
I did like the sourdough bread they brought out for you though. They warm it up for you and it was definitely fresh. I think I ate the whole loaf myself! Service was okay...two guys serving. We got our waters with lemons (because we asked for them) and he even gave us a plate full of extras.
Incredible service tonight. 5 stars for service! There was a party of 40, then our party of 9, and the waitresses (and busboy) were absolutely fabulous. They were perfectly in control, the appetizers came immediately, the rest of the order came promptly and without a glitch, water and bread were refilled without having to ask, and even the manager was helping out because it was a madhouse. And, our waitress was even able to produce a chocolate cake and candles and cut it for our birthday party. Oh, and the food was great too! (though it is not fine dining but the food is good)
My favorite pizza place in SF. Thin-crust, fresh ingredients, VERY down-to-earth vibe, simplest decor. This place is CLASSIC.
If you like your pizza on the thin side, Pasquale's must not be missed. They do make a special ultra-thin crust pizza upon request and they don't scrimp on the toppings. The ambiance is simple and wanting (thus the four stars) but the taste and portions are enormous and reasonably priced. If you want pizza + pasta, a half order of any of the noodle dishes on the menu will suffice in addition to the pizza. Trust me on this one. Their half orders are the equivalent of a regular order anywhere else.
Delicious sandwiches !!!! And enough food for two or three meals for a person on a tight budget !
Pasquale's has always served up a strong pizza pie, and I know this from going here since I was a small kid. Although I'm not usually a fan of thin-crust pizza, they can make a really mean thin-crust with lots of fresh meat and vegetables.
I've been to both Pasquales and they're both equally mind and stomach blowing, if that makes sense. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
I have had Pasquele's Pizza on two different occasions and had two different experiences. The first time I ate at the restaurant and the pizza was good, but not fantastic. The restaurant itself is not impressive and we walked past the place twice before we realized it was pizza place and walked in; It's a little old an dingy and lacks character. It also took a really really long time for us to receive our pizza.
The second time I ate at Pasquale's Pizza was a night I went to Yancy's, which is just a few steps away. We ordered pizza, picked it up and enjoyed it with our beer. This time I really enjoyed the pizza and thought it was fantastic. I don't know if it was the beer, the atmosphere or the actual pizza but I that night at Yancy's I thought I was eating pizza from a completely different Place.
So if I had to rate Pasquale's based on my first dining experience there I would have definitely given them two stars. Although the pizza was good the service and place was not.
But if I had to rate Pasquale's based on the pizza I had the night I went to Yancy's I would have given them four stars. So, overall based on my two very different experiences with Pasquale's Pizza, I will give them a whopping three stars.
Try it out..preferably at Yancy's or another bar down the street.
Picked up a pizza from here the last night while hanging out at Fireside with a buddy. A small was more than enough for two hungry guys, the crust was nice and thin but held up to the toppings well, and the toppings were plentiful. It was good enough that I'll probably order from here the next time I want pizza even if I'm not in the neighborhood.
This place always delivers hot and tasty food fast and they open till late at night. Most people commented on the pizza, which is really good in my opinion, but they have really great pasta as well.
Highly recommended: Penne Siciliano (with Italian sausage, red pepper, onion and garlic), baked lasagne
They have so many things on the menu but I find myself kept going back to ordering penne siciliano.
This is my favorite Pizza place in San Francisco. Thin crust, fresh ingredients, NOT greasy and when you order feta chesse they just put as much on it as it is makes sense (other places would just bury it in feta).
The place itself is somewhat 'cozy' (run down so to speak) and the waiters are real characters but all I care about is that the ingredients are top quality.
I just love it. There is another place in Denver called Enzo's, their pizzas are similar (top quality, run down place).
My fav pizza is: ham, mushrooms, feta chesse and olives. Small pizzas are large enough for one person, medium is definitely too much and should be shared.
