8 reviews for Pasha's
The last time I was at a Pasha's was a while ago which would have been THREE stars. It was with Mom and Ralph. The people at the counter were not that friendly. I also never order their LAHMACUN (okay, they spell LAHMAJIN here on the menus) because I have a feeling someone in the kitchen will not properly bake it (or defrost it) and it's not from scratch. So, yeah, it is a fast food restaurant. Some prices on the menu kind of throw me off, though. I just know what to order this time.
But anyways, since it's been a while, I decided to take a little risk at trying this place again and also met Gina! :) I found her accent to be so cute and enjoyable to hear. I'm also fortunate that we had a friendly waiter and his name was Hakan.
We got our waters and yes, I think we waited a little longer than we expected, which made Gina a bit nervous about lunch break being longer.
The salads came and then the entrees. I wanted to try tabbouleh, which was very lemony and to me it was great. However, if you hate lemon or can't stand the overwhelming amount, then I don't recommend you this place. lol
I also asked for Chicken YAHNI (that's how we spell it in Turkish.. no wonder the word YANI confused me), which is chicken with vegetable stew and basmati rice, and it was the most fullfilling.
Note: In my last visit, my fullfilling meal was lentil soup, yet I had to use a lot of salt and pepper, and add some lemon in it (it may not have taste because it needs salt.. most customers were probably salt phobic when it came to soups here, so maybe the company thought that it should stay plain like that. That's just my theory of what may be why).
I never order wraps or appetizers alone unless I need to eat very little that day.
Muhammara ( for Gina to try it and it's something different rather than a gyro or bulgur pilaf) was, as always, delicious.
We skipped the dessert because we had to go. When we left and got in Gina's car, Hakan (the waiter) came over by us and handed me my forgotten jacket. That was nice of him! Generosity.. that receives an EXTRA STAR to what I normally rate to this restaurant as three stars.
And, thank you, Gina, for treating me. It should be my turn next time. :)
Let me say first that it's a pleasure to dine with someone who knows the cuisine and so when I went to lunch with fellow yelper Melissa at Pasha's she really knew her stuff and on top of it all spoke Turkish with the waiter!! Five Stars to Melissa!
I had the Choban salad and a Falafel Wrap. The salad was great, fresh but the Falafel itself, which should really be the star of the wrap was a little overwhelmed by the very lemony tahini sauce. Melissa however had ordered the Muhammara and I had a taste of that and liked it much and will be ordering that again.
Portions were satisfactory for lunch size.
Located in Biscayne Commons, a relatively new shopping development which has a great selection of eateries...which was very much needed in this area.
I completely forgot about this place until I was googling Miami places to eat.
I used to eat here every Friday. The chicken gyro wrap is so great. I love the aioli and veggies! The service is pretty good, it looks upscale but it is just a glorified take out / fast food joint.
The hummus and pita is awesome!
Can be a little pricey but well worth it!
I love Pasha's! They have Great Food.
Good falafel wrap- it's skinny and long. It's not my favorite falafel but still tasty. I also got the lentil soup which was good. I'm glad I got soup also, with the wrap and the soup it was a perfect sized lunch. My friend had the lentil yani, which is a little more flavorful than the soup.
Cheap and delicious! Also in a fun shopping area but you have to choose among tons of restaurants. I wish you luck!
Good fast food
i came here recently and i doubt i will ever go back. service was super slow. the guy who took my order is probably the slowest man on earth.. apparently, those in the kitchen could also compete for this title. i ordered a lentil soup and a vegetarian kebab platter. it took them 30 minutes to have it ready. i didnt like the lentil soup cause it had no flavor at all. the platter was pretty mediocre as well. the falafel was good but not worth the trouble. hey pashas, thanks but no thanks.
